WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Temporary Detention

On the evening of March 30th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued a house arrest sentence to Yazan Siyam {a resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} for a period of 2 days and fined him as a condition for his release after being detained during the morning near Bab Al-Amoud area in Jerusalem city.

Attack

At 19:00, Israeli forces positioned in Abu Dis town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On March 30th 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

1.At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 16:45, Israeli forces positioned near the steel fence between Deir Intham village and "Halmish" settlement fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified residents during clashes in North entrance of Al-Bireh city.

Settlers Attacks

At 18:20, a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Al-Taybeh junction {located along Al-Murajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho districts} stoned vehicles traveling along the road.

JENIN

Raid

At dawn on March 31st 2019, Israeli forces raided Muthalath Al-Shuhada village then stormed and searched a home.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 18:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 21:50.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Jayyous and Azzoun towns then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 20:15, Israeli forces raided Azzun town and clashed with several residents.

Attack

At 20:15, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Azzun town.

Closure of main Roads

On the evening of March 30th 2019, Israeli forces closed the North entrance of Azzun town with cement blocks and closed the steel gate located at the west entrance {along the main road connecting Azzun town and Izbit Al-Tib village} and impeded the free flow of traffic.

NABLUS

Raid

At 22:25, Israeli forces raided Qablan town and detained a resident then withdrew at 23:55.

Detention

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces positioned at Huwara military checkpoint detained Hijazi Ahmad Awad Dweikat {A resident of Beita town}.
2. Israeli forces detained Shaker Abdel-Hafith Al-Amlat in Qabalan town.

Attack

At 12:35, Israeli forces positioned near Huwara military checkpoint located in south Nablus city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Kafr Al-Dik town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Harris village, stormed several homes, inspected surveillance camera footage inside the house then withdrew at 21:40.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages in Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 22:25.

Temporary Detention

At 15:50, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Jub'a military checkpoint temporarily detained Hiba Ali Saleem Abu Riziq {a resident of Al-Duhishat camp in Bethlehem city} for alleged carrying a steel object then released him at 17:25.

HEBRON

Raid

At dawn on March 31st 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp and detained 2 children.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 children: Adam Muhanad Abu Sham'a and Ismail Maher Al-Sharif in Al-Arrub camp.

Attack

1. At 13:25, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Shuhada road in the the old city of Hebron fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 22:40, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards homes near the camp entrance for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured the child: Arafat Nader Arafat Al-Muhtasib {16 years old} during clashes near the entrance of Al-Shuhada road in the the old city of Hebron.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of March 30th 2019, a Israeli settler opened fire after exiting his vehicle towards several homes near the entrance of the Al-Arrub camp for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire and launching 8 tank artillery shells from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result killed 3 children, injured 80 residents and left 236 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

•Palestinian gunmen broke the cease fire agreement by launching 5 projectiles towards the Green Line.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

At 12:00 on March 30th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured 4 residents and left 35 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 4 unidentified residents during clashes in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 12:00 on March 30th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result killed a child, injured 17 residents and left 91 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 03:00 on March 31st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line launched a tank artillery shell towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in east Jahir Al-Dik town located in south east Gaza city.
3. At 03:05 on March 31st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line launched a tank artillery shell towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in east Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in south east Gaza city.

Killings

Israeli forces killed the child: Adham Nidal Amarat {17 years old}{a resident of Al-Nassr neighborhood in Gaza city } after opening fired towards demonstrators in east Gaza city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 17 unidentified residents during clashes in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 12:00 on March 30th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Al- Buriej camp during the march of return and as a result injured 18 residents and left 55 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 02:15 on March 31st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line launched 1 tank artillery shells towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in south east Deir Al-Balah city.
3. At 02:50 on March 31st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line launched 1 tank artillery shells towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in south east Deir Al-Balah city.
4. At 02:55 on March 31st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line launched 1 tank artillery shells towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in east Deir Al-Balah city.
5. At 03:00 on March 31st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line launched 1 tank artillery shells towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in south east Deir Al-Balah city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 18 unidentified after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp.

Palestinian Attacks

At 00:40 on March 31st 2019, Palestinian gunmen launched 5 projectiles towards the Green Line.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 12:00 on March 30th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed 2 children, injured 23 residents and left 18 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Killings

Israeli forces killed 2 children: Billal Mahmoud Al-Najjar {17 years old}{A resident of Bani Suhila town} and Tamer Hisham Abu Al-Khier {17 years old}{a resident of Khan Yunis city} after opening fired towards demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 23 unidentified after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

Temporary Detention

At 08:30 on March 30th 2019, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 unidentified children as they attempted to climb the border fence from east Khan Yunis city into Israel then released them at a later time.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Attack

At 12:00 on March 30th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 18 resident and left 37 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 18 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Rafah city.
