WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Anata town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Biddu town and Qatana village.

Detention

At dawn on March 5th 2018, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Musa Odah after storming his home Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Temporary Detention

On March 4th 2018, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city sentenced Muna Durbus {A resident of Al-Eisawiya village} to home detention until March 9th 2018 and imposed a security guarantee fine of 750 shekels, self-assurance fine of NIS 5,000 and third-party guarantees of the same value as a term for her release after she was detained with her son{As mentioned in the previous report.

Attack

1. At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Eisawiya village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 23:20, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Hizma town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 07:50 on March 4th 2018, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 09:30.

Raid

1. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Beit Rima town, clashed with several residents as they storm and searched a home then detained a resident.
2. At dawn on March 5th 2018, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Nidal Thalji Taher Yacoub Al-Rimawi in Beit Rima town.
2. Israeli forces detained Sa'ib Mustafa Zahran in Deir Abu Mash'al village.

Attack

At 03:15, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Beit Rima town.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Arraba and Kafr Ra'i towns and Bi'ir Al-Basha, Al-Jabra, Masaliya and Ajja villages then detained a resident in Kafr Ra'i town and withdrew at 04:50.
2. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes , detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:50.

1. Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Muhannad Iaqba in Kafr Ra'i town
Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammed Wael Zakarneh and Sameh Alaa Zakarneh in Qabatiya town.

At 12:00, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Buqi'ya area located in the North Jordan Valley opened fire towards several farmers as they were leaving their farm lands in the area.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 13:20.

1. At 08:40, Israeli forces raided Quffin town until 12:00.
2. At 22:40, Israeli forces raided Far'un village.

QALQILIYA

At 09:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 13:20, Israeli forces raided Hablat town.
2. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city until 05:30.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 09:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 12:30.

1. At 15:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Deir Sharaf village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beita town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village until 04:25.
2. At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and a merchant shop and damaged surveillance camera's belonging to the National Security force headquarters then detained 2 residents after storming their homes.

Detention

1. At 18:55,Israeli forces positioned in Al-Muraba' area located near Tel village detained Mohammed Anwar Helmi Ramadan 15 years old {A resident of Tel village} for allegedly carrying a knife.
2. Israeli forces detained Nasser Hani Halawa and Adham Khashana in Nablus city.

Physical Assault

On March 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Furiq Military checkpoint assaulted Omar Suliman Mustafa Al-Asmar {A resident of Nablus city} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

At 02:50, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets , stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and a merchant shop during their raid into Nablus city.

Provocation of Palestinian Forces

At 02:50, Israeli forces damaged surveillance camera's belonging to the National Security force headquarters during their raid into Nablus city.

Settlers Attacks

At 17:40, Israeli settlers from "Bargha" settlement located in south Nablus city stole a donkey owned by Waleed Mohammad Eid {A resident of Burin village} then took it into the settlement.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Raid

At 00:25, Israeli forces raided Fasayil village until 02:05.

Detention

At 20:20, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Hamra Military checkpoint detained Ahmad Yusef Abu Awad {A resident of Hasma village in the North Jordan valley area located in Tubas district}.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

1. At 11:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town until 14:55.
2. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, detained a Palestinian Presidential guard then withdrew at 02:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Musa Mohammad Musa Abu Farah in Teqou' town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Hebron city {near Haji settlement} then searched residents and vehicles until 11:50.
2. On the afternoon on March 4th 2018, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Halhul town and detained a University student.

1. At dawn on March 4th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town and detained a resident.
2. At 00:25, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched 2 homes and confiscated a vehicle.
3. At 00:25, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town.
4. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Dura town and detained 2 residents.
5. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Fuwar camp.
6. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Halhul town.
7. At 04:10, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town.

Detention

1. At dawn on March 4th 2018, Israeli forces detained Zied Ahmad Al-Masri during their raid into Ithna town.
2. Israeli forces detained Nasser Ibrahim Al-Hawarin in Al-Thahriya town.
3. Israeli forces positioned at Halhul town bridge detained Mohammad Ali Hamdan {A University student}.
4. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Musa Ribhi Al-Haroub and Ahmad Al-Masri in Dura town.

Attack

On the evening of March 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several University students from Palestine Polytechin University for alleged stoning.

Confiscation of Property

At 00:25, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Ma'moun Rashed during their raid into Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Rafah district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Central Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 18:00 on March 4th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Nussirat camp.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is partially open for the entry of fuel trucks and construction material.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.

Attack

1. At 12:45 on March 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in North east Rafah city.
2. At 19:00 on March 4th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
