WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At dawn on March 6th 2019, Israeli forces raided Anata town then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

At 09:00, Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Ahed Al-Rashiq, Ibrahim Ghushat, Omar Ghushat and Subhi Al-Malahi in the old city of Hebron.

Temporary Detention

At 08:30, Israeli forces temporarily detained Ehab Abu Ghazalat {A Security Guard at Al-Aqsa mosque compound} as he was exiting Al-Aqsa mosque then released him at 17:00.

Attack

On the morning of March 5th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at Shu'fat military checkpoint in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Home seizure

On March 5th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Aqbat Darwish neighborhood in the old city of Jerusalem and seized home owned by Jawdat Al-Halabi.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On March 5th 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Rawabi city roundabout and detained a resident.
2. At 13:00, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at the entrances of Abboud town, Al-Nabi Saleh and Deir Intham villages then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Yabroud village bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 19:00.

Raid

At 04:15, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ni'ma village, clashed with several residents as they stormed a home then detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at Rawabi city roundabout detained Issam Khier Soliman Al-Barghouthi {A resident of Deir Abu Mash'al village}.
2. Israeli forces detained Nader Abdel-Rahman Mahmoud Abu Adi during their raid into Kafr Ni'ma village.

Attack

At 04:15, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Kafr Ni'ma village.

Settlers Attacks

At 20:10, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Ein Samiya area located in east Kafr Malik village and stoned residents travelling in the area.

JENIN

Raid

At 18:25, Israeli forces raided Barta'a Al-Sharqiya village and leveled a plot of land owned by residents in Makab Al-Samin area in order to install electricity poles in the area and temporarily detained a resident then released him at a later time.

Detention

At 18:55, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Subhi Musa Jabarin {a resident of Jenin camp} as he was reporting to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning based on a prior summon.

Temporary Detention

At 18:25, Israeli forces temporarily detained Sabri Hassan Qubha in Barta'a Al-Sharqiya village then released him at a later time.

Settlement Activities

At 18:25, Israeli forces leveled a plot of land owned by residents in Makab Al-Samin area located in Barta'a Al-Sharqiya village in order to install electricity poles in the area.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 20:40, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Settlers Attacks

On March 5th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Khilat Hamad and Al-Farisiya area's located in the North Jordan valley and herded their goats.

QALQILIYA

Detention

At 10:30, Israeli forces detained Wael Adel Al-Wabani {a resident of Qalqiliya city}.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 10:05, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 15:10.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yithsar" settlement junction located in North Huwara town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Faroush Beit Dajjan village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on March 6th 2019, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Sa'id Al-Rashayda in Nablus city.

Settlers Attacks

At 12:00, a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitshar" settlement stormed land in Orif village during which Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent the settlers near the village school and as a result injured a resident then withdrew at 13:10.

Attack

At 12:00, Israeli forces positioned in the east area of Orif village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent the settlers near the village school and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Imran Sabah during clashes in the east area of Orif village.

SALFIT

Raid

At 23:25, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed religious sites in the area then withdrew at 00:50.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Fasayil village then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 17:45.
2. At 16:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 23:20.

Raid

1. At 07:00, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city and detained 2 residents.
2. At dawn on March 6th 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar twn and detained a resident
3. At dawn n March 6th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town then stormed several homes.

Detention

1. At 14:15, Israeli forces detained the child: Ahmad Mahmoud Abu Mifrih {15 years old}{A resident of Teqou' town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
2. At 16:35, Israeli forces positioned at Container Military checkpoint detained Omar Ali Aliyan Khlil {A resident of Beit Ummar town in Hebron district}.
3. At 18:55, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Jum'a Al-Sha'er {a resident of Teqou' town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
4. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Layth Al-Masri and Mohammad Adel Al-Asakra in Bethlehem city,
5. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Musa Al-Ajouri in Beit Fajjar town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Halhul town then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.
2. At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Wadi Al-Samin area located in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.
3. At 18:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.
4. At 19:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30.
5. At 24:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Yunis area {located along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem} then searched residents and vehicles until 02:30.

Raid

1. At 00:40, Israeli forces raided Halhul town as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Al-Nabi Yunis tomb during which they clashed with several residents and as a result injured 2 residents {including a child}.
2. At dawn on March 6th 2019, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and served a military order to demolish to apartments owned by Arafat and Rafa'ya families and also summoned Mus'ab Al-Zaghir to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
3. At dawn on March 6th 201, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town and Beit Al-Roush village.

Detention

1. At dawn on March 5th 2019, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Sharif Burqan during their raid into Hebron city {as mentioned in the previous report}.
2. At 16:05, Israeli forces detained Sabha Makhamrat {a resident of Yatta town} as she was vesting her husband in Israeli an prisons

Attack

At 00:40, Israeli force fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Al-Nabi Yunis tomb during their raid into Halhul town and as a result injured 2 residents {including a child}.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents{including a child}: Hadi Ahmad Ismail Abu Rayan {16 years old} and Ali Awni Zamar'at during clashes in Halhul town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Central Gaza and Khan Yunis districts and as a result injured 2 residents.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding Central Gaza district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.
• Israeli Air force broke the ceasefire agreement by launching 5 missiles {in 3 consecutive airstrikes} towards Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 00:25 on March 6th 2019, , Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Air Strike

1. At 22:50 n March 5th 2019, Israeli fighter Jets launched 2 missiles towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in south Gaza city.
2. At 22:55 n March 5th 2019, Israeli fighter Jets launched 2 missiles towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in south Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Raid

At 10:30 on March 5th 2019, Israeli forces escorting military bulldozers stormed 70 m into the vicinity of east Al-Buriej camp and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 14:00.

Attack

1. At 18:00 on March 5th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp during the march of return and as a result injured 2 residents.
2. At 20:00 on March 5th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp during the march of return

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 09:00 on March 5th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.

Air Strike

At 23:00 on March 5th 2019, Israeli fighter Jets launched 1 missile towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
