WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eisawiya village and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 16:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 3 residents.
2. At 18:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Sawahra village until 19:20.
3. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis and Al-Eizariya towns until 04:50.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Eisawiya village detained Mohammad Issa {A resident of Al-Eisawiya village}.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Khalid Mustafa, Anas Darbas and Mohammad Zakariya Aliyan in Al-Eisawiya town.

Attack

1. At 11:40, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya Military checkpoint fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators commemorating International Womans Day and as a result left them suffocating from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 22:20, Israeli forces positioned at Ras Kabsa area in Abu Dis town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Rantis village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Um Safa village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:00, Israeli Military Undercover unite raided Bir Ziet University campus in Bir Ziet town and detained the Head of the student Council during which they clashed with several students and injured 2 students then withdrew at 16:15.
2. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Ras Kar Kar village and clashed with several residents.
3. At 03:50, Israeli forces raided Awarta town and detained 2 residents.
4. At 04:05, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town until 04:25.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Omar Al-Kiswani {Head of Bir Ziet University student Council} as they stormed Bir Ziet University in Bir Ziet town.
2. Israeli forces detained Nour Al-Din Abdel-Rahman Al-Arouri {A resident of Awrata town} and Jaber Musa Jaber Dar Khalil {A resident of Sinjil town}.

Attack

1. At 14:00, Israeli Military Undercover unite fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several University students for alleged stoning as they detained Head of Bir Ziet University student Council} during their raid into Bir Ziet University in Bir Ziet town and as a result injured 2 University students.
2. At 24:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Ras Kar Kar town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Thiyab Mohammad Thiyab and Nash'at Talib Terawi during clashes as they stormed Bir Ziet University campus in Bir Ziet town.

Assault on Educational sector

At 14:00, Israeli Military Undercover unite raided Bir Ziet University campus in Bir Ziet town and detained the Head of the student Council then fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters as they clashed with several students and injured 2 students.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces raided Kafr Dan village.
2. At 10:15, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town.
3. At 10:355, Israeli forces raided Ana'in village and Nazlat Zied villages.
4. At 11:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Taybeh, Zubaba and Turat villages.
5. At 23:00, Israeli forces raided Zubaba village.
6. At 23:40, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and its camps.
7. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town, stormed and searched the home of Yusif Khalid Mustafa Kamil then took measurements of the home to prepare it for demolition,

Closure of main Roads

On March 7th 2018, Israeli forces closed a agricultural road connecting Um Rayha, Al-Makhal villages which leads to Ya'bad town with dirt mounds.

TUBAS

Raid

At 16:20, Israeli forces raided Attouf village.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 21:05, Israeli forces raided Izbit Shufa village until 23:25.
2. At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Anabta town, Kafr Al-Labad and Kafr Raman village until 04:45.
3. At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, Tulkarem and Nur Al-Shams camps , detained 2 residents in Tulkarem camp and city then withdrew at 03:30.

Detention

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned at Wale gate {623} located in Deir Al-Ghosoun town detained Manal Aqel Ahmad Abdallah {49 years old} {A resident of Deir Al-Ghosoun town}.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Hazem Nabhan Nasser al-Srouji {A resident of Tulkarem camp} and Mu'ayyad Hikmat Awad Balawneh {A resident of Tulkarem city}.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Jayyous and Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 16:15, Israeli forces raided Azzun town then stormed and searched several homes.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city until 02:30.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Masaudiya area located in Burqa village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:30.

Raid

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Bithan village.
2. At 18:50, Israeli forces raided Assira Al-Shamaliya town and Yassid village until 19:50.
3. At 21:10, Israeli forces raided Burqa , Al-Naqqura , Beit Ummron, Sabastiya, Ijnsinya and Taluza villages until 22:30.
4. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes , detained 3 residents then withdrew at 04:10.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Jihad Moin Marish, Mohammed Moin Marish, and Mahdi Al-Aka in Nablus city.

Settlers Attacks

At 17:55, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli military forces stormed the east area of Burin village then stoned several Shepard's who were herding their sheep during which Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents as they attempted to prevent the settler attack and as a result injured 2 residents {including 1 as a result of the settler stoning}.

Attack

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned at the south area of Salim village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning
2. At 17:55, Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Burin village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted too prevent settlers attack and as a result injured 2 residents {including 1 as a result of the settler stoning}.
3. At 01:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Nablus city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Marwan Raja Mohammed Zaben (who was struck by a stone in the head by settlers) and Mahmoud 'Omran (16 years old) with rubber-coated steel bullet during clashes in Burin village.

Assault on Educational sector

On the morning of March 7th 2018, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Labban Al-Sharqiya village prevented students from using the main road leading to the ,local secondary school and forced them to take a bypass road approximately 3 km long.

Closure of main Roads

On the morning of March 7th 2018, Israeli forces closed the agricultural road in the east area of Beit Dajjan village with dirt mounds.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Marah Rabah village then searched residents and vehicles until 15:30.

Raid

At 07:45 on March 7th 2018, Israeli forces raided Jericho city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed the "The Monastery of the Temptation" then clashed with several residents, detained a resident then withdrew at 13:50.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Foad Awwad Dawidra in Jericho city.

Attack

At 07:45 on March 7th 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed the "The Monastery of the Temptation" during their raid into Jericho city.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Nihallin village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:10.
2. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur city} then searched residents and vehicles until 22:50.
3. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located at the entrance of Husan village} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:40.

Raid

1. At 16:55, Israeli forces raided Um Al-Rakaba area in Al-Khader town until 17:05.
2. At 23:45, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah city until 00:50.
3. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town then detained a child and withdrew at 00:50.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Guevara Ahmed Salah {16 years old} in Al-Khader town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then detained a resident.
2. At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zif village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 20:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Haji" settlement located in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 12:25 and again at 18:55, Israeli forces raided Tarqumiya town until 00:25.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Ithna town.
3. At 23:35, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
4. At 23:35, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im and Beit Kahil towns.
5. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' and Yatta towns.
6. At 02:25, Israeli forces raided Halhul town until 04:20.
7. At dawn on March 8th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 23:55 on March 6th 2018, Israeli forces detained Khalil Ahdib Awad during their raid into Ithna town.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp detained Billal Mansour Fansha {A resident of Yatta town}.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Baraghith Abdel-Hamid Baraghith in Biet Ummar town.

Temporary Detention

At 08:25, Israeli forces temporarily detained the child Ma'moun Khader Ashour {8 years old} in the old city of Hebron then released him at a later time.

Attack

At 18:10, Israeli forces positioned near {UNRWA} school in Hebron city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children for alleged stoning.

Confiscation of Property

At 23:55 on March 6th 2018, Israeli forces confiscated a Tractor owned by Khalil Hadib Awad after they detained him during their raid into Ithna town{As mentioned in the previous report}.

Settlers Attacks

On March 7th 2018, a Israeli settlers from "Mitzpe Yair" settlement outpost located in east Yatta town assaulted Jamlat Ibrahim Mohammad Abu Qubieta {13 years old} as he was near his family agricultural land located near his home.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding and opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 06:55 on March 7th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Raid

At 10:30 on March 7th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Gaza city and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land the withdrew at 17:00.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
