JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 19:00, Israeli forces raided Anata town.
2. At 21:45, Israeli forces raided Hizma town.

Assaults on Property

On March 8th 2018, Israeli forces prevented residents in Jerusalem city from launching a festival in commemoration of International Woman's Day which was hosted by {Woman Association of Life and Democracy} which was supposed to be held at Ravoli Hotel located on Salah Al-Din road in the old city of Jerusalem after Israeli forces stormed the Hotel and served a military order to the Hotel manager preventing him from hosting the festival alleging the event was funded by the Palestinian National Authority.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Silwad town then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 15:05, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Arqa village, stormed and searched a home then confiscated 3140 NIS.
2. At dawn on March 9th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Tarm village.

Confiscation of Property

At 01:05, Israeli forces confiscated 3140 NIS after storming Iz Al-Din Yahya's home during his raid into Al-Arqa village.

TUBAS

Land Levelling

At 13:40, Israeli forces stormed Al-Farisiya area in the North Jordan valley area and leveled 40 dunams of agricultural land planted with Wheat and barley.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 09:45, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 11:20.

Raid

At 13:35, Israeli forces raided Qufffin town until 19:00.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Azzun town bridge {located along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 22:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Jallu'd village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 22:00, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Hablat town.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

On the evening of March 8th 2018, Israeli forces closed Huwara Military checkpoint {after the alleged shooting towards the Military watch tower located near Huwara town} then reopened it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Assira Al-Qibliya village and detained 3 residents.

Raid

1. At 12:05, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village and clashed with several residents.
2. At dawn on March 9th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Furiq town and confiscated surveillance camera recorder footage from a merchant shop.

Detention

1. At 21:15, Israeli forces detained Ma'zouz Aby Hatab {A resident of Beit Dajjan village} near Beit Dajjan village.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Assira Al-Qibliya village detained 3 residents:
Najih Abdul Rahman Awad, Sari Ibrahim Hamad, and Omar Abdel Fattah Daoud Saleh.

Attack

1. At 12:05, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Sabastiya village.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning near Salem village.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on March 9th 2018, Israeli forces confiscated surveillance camera recorder footage from a merchant shop during their raid into Beit Furiq town.

Land Confiscation

On March 8th 2018, Israeli forces issued a military order for the confiscation of a plot of land located near a Secondary school in Burin village for alleged military purposes.

Settlers Attacks

On March 8th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers from "Rechelim" settlement stormed agricultural land located in Al-Sawiya village and attacked several farmers then chopped off the limbs of approximately 40 Olive trees owned by Al-Salman family.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 21:20, the Israeli forces intensified their restriction at Za'tara junction military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Detention

On the evening of March 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara Military checkpoint detained 2 residents:
Sanad Samih Dawood Damidi {A resident of Huwara town in Nablus district} and 'Issam Zakaria Suleiman Abu Assab {A resident of Balata camp in Nablus city}.

JERICHO

Raid

1. At 20:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Oja village until 22:30.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Fasayil village.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Nihalin village then searched residents and vehicles until 19:45.

Raid

1. At 11:45, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town until 12:20.
2. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah city until 06:30.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:20 and again at 20:20, Israeli forces set up a military checkpoint at Al-Huwara area {located in North Halhul town} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Wadi Khanis area located between Sa'ir and Halhul town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Yunis area {located along the main road connecting Bethlehem and Hebron} then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 19:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Einun village then searched residents and vehicles.

Injuries

At 18:40 , the child Ali Khalid Al-Julani {12 years old} was hospitalized with fractures and bruises after he fell from the roof of his home as Israeli soldiers were chasing him near Bab Al-Zawiya area.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding Khan Yunis and opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza, Central Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 15:30 on March 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards demonstrators near Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 15:20 on March 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Deir Al-Balah city.

KHAN YUNIS

Raid

At 07:30 on March 8th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Al-Qarara town located in North east Khan Yunis city then opened fire as they leveled a plot of land and withdrew at 11:30

Attack

At 07:15 on March 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town located in North east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed {with the exception for the entry of several truck loads of Fuel and merchant goods}.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
