WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 12:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Sawahra Al-Sharqiya village.

Detention

1. At 05:30 on March 8th 2019, Israeli forces detained Waheed Al-Bakri {A resident of Jerusalem city}.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ammer Mahmoud Mish'al, Loai Mohammad Salamat and Hassan Salamat in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Deportation

On March 8th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders banning Abdel-Rahman Mahmoud {A resident of Al-Eisawiya village} from entering all districts in the West Bank for a period of 2 months and fined him 1000 NIS as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.

Attack

At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

At 20:55, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Jaba' village junction stoned civilian vehicles and as a result injured 2 residents: Ayed Al-Malki and Mohammad Abu Al-Liela {Both are residents of Kafr Malik village in Ramallah & Al-Bireh district}.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On March 8th 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Raid

1. At 14:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Sira village.
2. At 15:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Ijrier village.
3. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Rima town, clashed with several residents as they stormed a home and as a result injured a resident then summoned Wahbi Ihsan Al-Rimawi to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 04:10.

Attack

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned in Beit Sira village fired rubber coated steel bullets , stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who were demonstrating and demanding the release of bodies of martyrs held by the Israeli Military and as a result injured 4 residents.
2. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned in Bi'lin town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who were protesting against the construction of the wall for alleged stoning.
3. At 02:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets,fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Beit Rima town and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 5 residents {identified}: Mohammad Mahmoud Abdallah Anqawi during clashes in Beit Sira village.
2. Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes in Beit Rima town.

Closure of main Roads

On the evening of March 8th 2019, Israeli forces closed the steel gate located at the entrance of Abboud town and impeded the free flow of traffic which forced travelers to use alternative routs to reach their homes then reopened it at a later time.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 22:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Zababda town, Kafr Qud , Masliyat and Kafrit villages.
2. At dawn on March 9th 2019, Israeli forces raided Jenin camp and Bruqin town and clashed with several residents in Bruqin town.

Attack

At dawn on March 9th 2019, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Bruqin town.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 15:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Settlers Violence

On March 8th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Shawa'ir, Al-Farisiya and Al-Hamat area in the North Jordan valley area and chased away several Sheppard's who were herding their livestock in the area.

QALQILIYA

Raid

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces raided Jit village.
2. At 13:00, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qaddum village.

Attack

At 12:30, Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified residents during clashes at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military}.

NABLUS

Raid

At 19:30, Israeli forces raided Qabalan town and Yatma village until 21:30.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction military checkpoint detained Mahmoud Jum'a Sa'id Taym {A resident of Ein Beit Al-Ma' camp in Nablus city.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance of Deir Ballout town detained Ghannam Mahmoud Abdel-Karim Abdallah.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 17:20, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Dura town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 23:10, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
2. At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Ithna and Tarqumiya towns.
3. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Yatta town.

Detention

At 20:30, Israeli forces positioned at Abu Al-Rish Military checkpoint located near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron detained Muntasir Ghalib Sbieh {17 years old}.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza,Gaza,Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result killed a resident, injured 5 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli Air force broke the ceasefire agreement by launching 10 missiles {in 7 consecutive airstrikes} towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Gaza districts.

• Palestinian Gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire and launching projectiles towards the Green Line.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 08:00 on March 8th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North west Beit Lahiya town, temporarily detained 4 Fishermen then released them after confiscating their fishing boat.
2.At 14:00 on March 8th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured 4 residents and left several others suffocating from tear gas inhalation.

Air Strike

1. At 00:05 on March 9th 2019, Israeli fighter Jets launched 1 missile towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in Al-Waha area located in North west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 00:10 on March 9th 2019, Israeli fighter Jets launched 2 missile towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in Al-Waha area located in North west Beit Lahiya town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 4 unidentified residents during clashes in east Jabaliya town.

Detention

At 14:40 on March 8th 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 unidentified residents in North Beit Hanoun town as they were attempting to climb the border fence into Israel.

Temporary Detention

At 08:00 on March 8th 2019, Israeli forces temporarily detained 4 fishermen: Yasser Soliman Yusef Baker, Tamer Soliman Yusef Baker, Waleed Muh'sin Eid Bakr and Zakariya Sa'ed Bakr {All are resiednts of Al-Shata' camp located in west Gaza city} after opening fire towards their fishing boat off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North west Beit Lahiya town and released them at 18:00.

Confiscation of Property

At 08:00 on March 8th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated a fishing boat owned by Yasser Soliman Yusef Baker after opening fire towards it off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 08:15 on March 8th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza city.
2. At 14:00 on March 8th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result injured 14 residents and left several others suffocating from tear gas inhalation.

Air Strike

1. At 00:15 on March 9th 2019, Israeli fighter Jets launched 1 missile towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood located in south east Gaza city.
2. At 00:20 on March 9th 2019, Israeli fighter Jets launched 2 missiles towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood located in south east Gaza city.

Israeli forces injured 14 unidentified residents during clashes in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 14:00 on March 8th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp during the march of return and as a result injured 16 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Air Strike

At 00:55 on March 9th 2019, Israeli fighter Jets launched 1 missile towards an open area in North east Al-Buriej camp.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 16 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 14:00 on March 8th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 12 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Air Strike

1. At 00:25 on March 9th 2019, Israeli fighter Jets launched 1 missile towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in North West Khan Yunis city.
2. At 00:30 on March 9th 2019, Israeli fighter Jets launched 1 missile towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in North West Khan Yunis city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 resident including a journalist and 3 Paramedics: Yasser Mamdouh Al-Qaddi {A journalist}, Ali Mohammad Bahjat Al-Qassas {A Paramedic}, Ghalib Samir Abu Khater {A Paramedic} and Mohammad Rajib Abu Jazar {A Paramedic} during clashes in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city .

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

At 14:00 on March 8th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed a resident, injured 5 residents {including a Journalist} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Killings

Israeli forces killed Tamer Khalid Mustafa Arafat {23 years old}{A resident of Rafah city} during clashes in east Rafah city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 5 resident including Sari Jamal Mohammad Mansour {A journalist} during clashes in east Rafah city.

Detention

At 08:15, Israeli forces detained 2 unidentified residents in east Rafah city as they were attempting to climb the border fence into Israel.

Palestinian Attacks

At 20:00 on March 8th 2019, Palestinian gunmen launched projectiles towards the Green Line.
