WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 2 residents after physically assaulting them.

Detention

1. At 14:55, Israeli forces detained Yahya Basaliyat {a Security Guard at Al-Aqsa Mosque compound} in Al-Thuri neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Mahmoud and Imran Al-Awawi in Al-Eisawiya village.

Temporary Detention

At 23:00, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued a home detention order for Moath Al-Ash'hab {a resident of Jerusalem city} for a period of 5 days, imposed a fine and prevented him from contacting Billal Al-Natsha for a period of 15 days.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village to search cars and check the identities of citizens.

Raid

At 04:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city.

JENIN

Raid

At 08:45, Israeli forces raided Thaher Al-Abed village and served a military order for the demolition of a home {under construction} owned by Ameed Bassam Sameeh Amarnah for allegdly being built near the separation wall then withdrew at 13:40.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 17:25, Israeli forces tightened their procedures at the “Enav” checkpoint, and impeded the movement of traffic.

Raid

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces raided Quffin town.
2. On 05.05.2020, Israeli forces raided Aqaba village and served military order to halt construction on 6 homes owned by Youssef Muhammad Taha Amarneh, Nihad Ibrahim Taha Amarneh, Abdul Rahim Suleiman Amarneh, Ayman Mustafa Amarneh, Hudhaifa Muhammad Amarneh, and Mustafa Mahmoud Bitawi for allegedly being built without a licence.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun and Kafr Thulth towns to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 15:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city to search cars and check the identities of citizens.

At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

SALFIT

Settlers Attacks

At 16:55, a Israeli settler dumped waste on civilian owned land located near the North entrance of Salfit city.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:20 and again at 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 19:30.

Raid

At 05:30, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 06:55.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Youssef Gamal Abdel-Khalil Al-Sabah, and Yassin Youssef Al-Sabah in Teqou' town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 00:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im to search cars and check the identities of citizens.

Raid

At 00:55, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town until 02:15.

Settlers Attacks

At 16:50, a group of Israeli settlers herded their goats on civilian owned land located in the area between Beit Awwa town and Khursa village then provoked residents in the area.

Settlement Activities

On 05.05.2020, Israeli settler under the protection of the Israeli Military entered civilian owned agricultural land in Dura town and paved a road to be used by "Negahot" settlement located on civilian owned land in west Dura town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on 26. 08. 2014 The permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings and introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, and to expand the area of fishing for 6 miles with an increase of up to 12 miles with At the end of this year, the area of the "buffer security" area will be reduced from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and the prevention of assassinations, and the remaining issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
•Since the Morning of 28. 06. 2019 The occupying forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from the oasis area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza and even to the port of Gaza by 6 nautical miles, and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah beach to 15 nautical miles.
• The occupation forces violated the ceasefire, by firing them and 7 artillery shells from their positions on the Green Line in the northern Gaza Strip, Gaza, Central, and Khan Yunis and by gunboats shooting towards the boats of fishermen at sea in North Gaza.
Palestinian armed groups violated the ceasefire, by firing a shell (of unknown type) towards the Green Line.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez" on 05. 05. 2020 is closed (excluding the passage of emergency humanitarian cases}.

Attack

1. At 08:15 on 05.05.2020 Israeli gunboats opened fire towards fishermen boats while they were chasing them at sea off the coast of the Sudanese area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
2. At 01:15 on 06.05.2020, the Israeli occupation forces fired 3 artillery shells from their positions on the Green Line, towards a site belonging to a Palestinian armed group, east of Beit Hanoun.
3. At 01:30 on 06.05.2020, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural land east of Beit Hanoun.
4. At 01:40 on 06.05.2020, the Israeli occupation forces fired two artillery shells from their positions on the Green Line, towards a site belonging to a Palestinian armed group, east of Jabalia.
5. At 01:55 on 06.05.2020, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural land, east of Beit Hanoun.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Mantar-Karni crossing: closed since 02. 03. 2011 once and for all by unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shujaiya Crossing - "Nahal Oz" fuel crossing: closed since 04. 01. 2010 by unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 09:30 on 05. 05. 2020 , Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in the east of Gaza City.
2. At 01:25 on 06.05.2020, the Israeli occupation forces fired two artillery shells from their positions on the Green Line, towards a site belonging to one of the Palestinian armed groups, east of the town of Juhr Al-Deek, southeast of Gaza City.

Palestinian Attacks

At 00:15 on 06.05.2020, members of the Palestinian armed groups fired a shell (of unknown type), towards the Green Line.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 09:45 on 05.05.2020,Israeli forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural land east of Deir Al-Balah city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 10:00 on 05.05.2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents near the border fence in east Khuz'a town located in Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

*Yasser Arafat International Airport: Closed.
*Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - Kerem Shalom: 05. 05. 2020 is partially open (for the introduction of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel, building materials for the private sector and internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda port - Rafah: on 05. 05. 2020 is closed.
