WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

At 02:10 on April 30th 2018, Israeli forces detained Omar Jihad Mahmoud Hilal during their raid into Abu Dis town {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report.

Deportation

On the evening of April 30th 2018, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued order to expel Khalid Hussien Al-Zir {A resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} banning him from Bab Al-Rahma cemetery area located near the east area of Al-Aqsa mosque compound after he was bailed from Israeli jails on May 1st 2018.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halimish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 08:25, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet town.
2. At 04:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp and detained a resident.
3. At 07:00, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and detained 4 residents.

Detention

1. At 14:50, Israeli forces positioned near "Pesagot" settlement located in east Al-Bireh city detained Ibrahim Ali Abed {A resident of Al-Bireh city}.
2. Israeli forces detained Omar Jamal Zied in Al-Jalazoun camp.
3. Israeli forces detained 4 residents :Khaled Sami Wardah, Mohamed Omar Hamed, Hussein Tayseer Hamed, and Rashad Mahmoud Morshed Hamid in Silwad town.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 22:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

At 10:50, Israeli forces raided Attouf village.

Assaults on Property

At 06:00 on May 1st 2018, Israeli forces removed 5 families from their home in Khirbeit Humsa area located in the North Jordan valley region from 16:00 until 14:00 for alleged military training in the area.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the south entrance of Tulkarem city then searched residents and vehicles until 13:30.

Raid

At 16:10, Israeli forces raided Quffin town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:20 and again at 01:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 16:30, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

Raid

At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Awrata village until 01:00.

Detention

At 12:05, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Labban Al-Sharqiya school detained the child: Kamal Jamal Yusef Khader {15 years old}{A resident of Al-Labban Al-Sharqiya village}.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Wadi Qana road {which connects Salfit and Qalqilya districts} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 08:25, Israeli forces raided Deir Ballout town and closed down a car wash after confiscating its equipment.
2. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Bidya town until 03:55.

Confiscation of Property

At 08:25, Israeli forces confiscated equipment from a car wash owned by Nael Rashid Abdallah after closing down a car wash in Deir Ballout town for allegedly being built with out a licence.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 18:55, Israeli forces raided Aqbat Jaber camp in Jericho city until 20:55.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:20 and again at 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then detained a residents as they searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 22:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Ubidiya town until 01:05.
2. At 23:10, Israeli forces raided Harmala village until 01:00.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} detained Yazan Eyas Naji Nazal {A University student}{A resident of Jenin city}.

Land Confiscation

On April 28 2018, Israeli forces served a Military order for the confiscation of 42 dunums of residential owned land in Al-Khader town owned by Salah and Subieh families for alleged Military purposes.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At dawn on May 1st 2018, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on May 1st 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 14:20, Israeli forces detained Baha Hajajrah {a resident of Al-Arroub camp} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
2. Israeli forces detained Khalid Al-Za'trai in Hebron city.
3. Israeli forces detained Issa Ibrahim Khalil in Beit Ummar town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on April 11th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 9 nautical miles for a period of 3 months.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opened fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza , Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result killed 3 residents {including a child } as they attempted to climb the border fence into Israel and injured 5 residents.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 07:45 on April 30th 2018,Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 16:00 on April 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day}located in east Al-Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 08:30 on April 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired towards agricultural land in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city.
2. At 16:00 on April 30th 2018,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day} located in east Gaza city and as a result injured 2 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents during clashes in in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 16:00 on April 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day} located in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified resident during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 21:40 on April 29th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards and killed 2 residents in east Khan Yunis city as they attempted to climb the border fence into Israel.
2. At 14:00 on April 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day} in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city and as a result injured a resident.

Killings

Israeli forces opened fire towards and killed 2 residents: Attiyah Mohammed al-Amawi and Yusuf Ahmad al-Amawi (both of whom are in their twenties) {both are residents of Khan Yunis} as they attempted to climb the border fence into Israel.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified resident during clashes in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for in both directions
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.

Attack

1. At 21:00 on April 29th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards 2 residents {including a child} as they attempted to climb the border fence from east Rafah city into Israel and as a result killed a child and injured another .
2. At 16:00 on April 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the Right of Return } located in Al-Nahda neighborhood in Rafah city.

Killings

Isreali forces killed the child Yusef Jasser Abu Jazar {16 years old} {A resident of Rafah city} after opened fire towards 2 residents {including a child} as they attempted to climb the border fence from east Rafah city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured an unidentified resident after opened fire towards 2 residents {including a child} as they attempted to climb the border fence from east Rafah city.

Detention
