WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Jawhar Nasser Al-Din Ali Jouhar, and Muhammad Badr Al-Din Ahmed Hussein Darwishin Abu Dis town.

Deportation

On May 12th 2018, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city ordered the expulsion of 9 residents: Mousa Odeh, Khalid Al-Tayeh, Khalid Shuweiki, Imad Al-Abbasi, Mehdi Qarayani, Tareq Al-Abbasi, Hossam Hamouda, Imad Al-Qaisi and Mustafa Awad preventing them from entering Bab Al-Rahmah Cemetery adjacent to the eastern wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the old city of Jerusalem until May 17th 2018 as a term for their release from Israeli Police custody after they were detained.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Halamish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.

Raid

1. At 04:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Amari camp in Al-Bireh city, detained 4 residents then withdrew at 05:35.
2. At 05:00, Israeli forces raided Dura Al-Qara' village and detained a resident.
3. At dawn on May 13th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Rima town and detained a resident.
4. At dawn on May 13th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Nabi Saleh village, clashed with several residents and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
5. At dawn on May 13th 2018, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Bahaa Jamal Jabr, Jamal Mahmoud Jabr, Mohammed Jamal al-Ashqar and Jihad Abdulla Abu al-Arif in Al-Amari camp in Al-Bireh city.
2. Israeli forces detained Basil Osama Mohammad Al-Qassim in Dura Al-Qara' village.
3. Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Imad Al-Rimawi in Beit Rima town.
4. Israeli forces detained Nash'at Anwar Hamad in Silwad town.

Attack

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At dawn on May 13th 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Nabi Saleh village and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

JENIN

Raid

At dawn on May 13th 2018, Israeli forces raided Barta'a village, stormed and searched several homes and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Yunis Raja Lutfi Qubha in Bart'a village.

TULKAREM

Detention

At 21:30, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Shufat village detained Mujahid Naser Mahmoud Al-Khatib {A resident of Tulkarem city}.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun and Kafr Thulth towns then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 22:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Jayyous and Kafr Al-Jamal towns then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city , detained a resident then withdrew at 05:00.
2. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, detained 2 residents {including a child} then withdrew at 06:10.

1. Israeli forces detained Muhannad Suleiman Abu Shehab in Qalqiliya city.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Hamdi Adam Ahmad Badwan {17 years old}, and Saif Hisham Mustafa Badwan in Azzun town.

Attack

At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village{ which is closed} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Shave Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on May 13th 2018, Israeli forces raided Zieta Jama'in village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. On May 12th 2018, Israeli forces detained Anas Mohammad Shawqi Al-Khalili {A resident of Nablus city}.
2. Israeli forces detained Mo'ayad Osama Yusef Nasser in Zieta Jama'in village.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 09:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Za'tara" junction and impeded the free flow of traffic until 11:00.

Raid

At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Qarwat Bani Hassan town, stormed and searched 3 homes then withdrew at 05:00.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 14:00.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jurat Al-Sham'a village then searched residents and vehicles until 14:35.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:50.

Raid

At dawn on May 13th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Asakra village and detained 2 children.

Detention

1. At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned at Bilal Bin Rabah mosque located in North Bethlehem city detained 3 children:
Muhammad Shadi Makkawi {12 years old} {A residents of Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem}, Mohammed Ayman Kanaan {14 years old} {A resident of Bethlehem city}, and Harith Ayman Kanaan {A resident of Bethlehem city}.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahmed Khalaf Asakra {17 years old}, and Yazan Khaled Asakra {17 years old} in Al-Asakra village.

HEBRON

Attack

At 22:35, Israeli forces positioned in Ghayth and Al-Salayma neighborhoods in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on April 11th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 9 nautical miles for a period of 3 months.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza , Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured 2 residents and also a resident died of injuries sustained during clashes in Rafah city on May 11th 2018.
• Israeli fighter Jets broke the ceasefire agreement by launching 10 missiles towards North Gaza district.
•Palestinian Gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Israeli forces near the border fence on east Gaza city.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

1. At 11:00 on May 12th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 13:00 on May 12th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Al-Jabaliya town.
3. At 15:40 on May 12th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Beit Hanoun town.

Air Strike

1. At 19:20 and 19:30 on May 12th 2018, Israeli fighter jets launched 3 missiles towards Palestinian gunmen in North Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 19:30 and 20:00 on May 12th 2018, Israeli fighter jets launched 7 missiles towards agricultural land in North Beit Hanun town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

1. At 14:00 on May 12th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Gaza city and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 16:25 on May 12th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Palestinian gunmen in east Gaza city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes in east Gaza city.

Palestinian Attacks

At 16:15 on May 12th 2018, Palestinian gunmen opened fire towards Israeli forces positioned near the border fence in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 10:00 on May 12th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards demonstrators in east Al-Maghazi camp.
2. At 14:00 on May 12th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result injured a resident.
3. At 18:00 on May 12th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards demonstrators in east Deir Al-Balah city

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 08:20, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural; land in east Khuz'a town.
2. At 12:00 on May 12th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards demonstrators in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.

Attack

At 16:00 on May 12th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in Al-Nahda neighborhood in Rafah city.

Killings

At 20:30 on May 12th 2018, the child Jamal Abdel-Hadi Mohammad Afanah {15 years old} {A resident of Rafah city} died of serious injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards him during clashes in east Rafah city on May 11th 2018.
