WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Attack

At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Amoud area in the old city of Jerusalem fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several worshipers as they conducted evening prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque for alleged stoning then detained 2 children.

Detention

1. At 21:00, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya Military checkpoint detained Hamza Abdel-Kareem Sa'ayda {a resident of Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village}.
2. At dawn on May 13th 2019, Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Al-Zaghal after storming and searching his home in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 children: Issam Abu Nab{16 years old} and Mohammad Ghazawan {16 years old} during clashes in Bab Al-Amoud area in the old city of Jerusalem.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.
2. At 23:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Aqsa Mosque and chased several worshipers who were entering for evening prayers and forcibly removed them out of the Mosque.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

Since May 6 2019,the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians from 10:00 until 22:00 daily during which the checkpoint will be open from 07:00 until 22:00 for those entering Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Yamoun town and detained a resident.
2. At 07:10, Israeli forces raided Jenin camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Jenin camp and as a result injured 2 residents {including a child} then detained 4 others.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ala Ali Al-Labadi in Al-Yamounn town.
2. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Khalid Abu Zeina, Firas alone, Ahmad Hussein Abdul Hafeez, and Ahmad Azmi Husseiniya in Jenin camp.

Attack

At 07:10, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Jenin camp and as a result injured 2 residents {including a child}.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Ahmed Maher Ali al-Ghoul {17 years old}, and Mohammed Subhi Matahen during clashes in Jenin camp.

TUBAS

Assaults on Property

At 14:00 on May 12th 2019,the Israeli military forced 15 families out of their home in Khirbeit Humsat Al-Foqa area located in the North Jordan valley region from 14:00 on May 12th 2019 until 10:00 on May 13th 2019 for alleged military training in the area {which was based on a prior military order given to local residents}.

Temporary Detention

At 15:45, Israeli forces temporarily detained 9 residents {including 7 journalists}: Hazem Jarrara, Raneen Sawafta, Shaza Hammad, Hisham Abu Shakra, Khalid Badir, Mahmoud Fawzi, Faris Fakha and Mahdi Daraghma
as they were covering the removal 15 families out of their home in Khirbeit Humsat Al-Foqa area located in the North Jordan valley region from 14:00 on May 12th 2019 until 10:00 on May 13th 2019 for alleged military training in the area then released them at a later time.

QALQILIYA

Raid

1. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town {after unidentified persons threw a explosive device towards Israeli forces } during which they clashed with several residents.
2. At 03:25, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Ahmad Arbas in Qalqiliya city.

Temporary Detention

At 20:15, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Hablat town temporarily detained 2 residents: Mahmoud Abdel-Raheem Awinat and Layth Sharim then released them at a later time.

Attack

At 01:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Azzun town.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 23:40.

At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Orif village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Abdel-Qadder Assad Azziz Sabah in Orif village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Malee Ifrim" settlement then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles until 11:30.
2. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Faradis village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 12:00.

Raid

At 05:25, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, detained 3 residents then confiscated a vehicle.

Detention

1. At 12:50, Israeli forces detained the child: Marouf Ahmad Al-Atrash {15 years old}{a resident of Al-Walja village}.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Nidal Nabil Thawabta, Wajdi Kathim Thawabta and Anas Kathim Thawabta in Beit Fajjar town.

Confiscation of Property

At 05:25, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Nidal Nabil Thawabta after detaining him during their raid into Beit Fajjar town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Sa'ir town {Beit Einoun junction} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 22:10, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on May 6th 2019 The Israeli occupation forces allowed the increase of fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the north of Gaza and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza.

• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 08:30 on May 12th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Detention

At 14:30 on May 12th 2019, Israeli forces detained a unidentified resident who was attempting to climb the border fence from East Jabaliya town into Israel.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects..
