WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Temporary Detention

At 18:00, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city imposed a home detention sentence on Salah Ali Al-Razam {a resident of Jerusalem city} for a period of 5 days and fined him 7500 NIS as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. At 09:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.
2. At 23:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Aqsa Mosque and chased several worshipers who were entering for evening prayers and forcibly removed them out of the Mosque.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

Since May 6 2019,the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians from 10:00 until 22:00 daily during which the checkpoint will be open from 07:00 until 22:00 for those entering Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Siniya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:30 and again at 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Abboud town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 01:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Al-Bireh city {along the main road leading to Al-Jalazoun camp and near "Bet El" settlement} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 06:30, Israeli forces raided Abu Shikhiudum village and detained 3 residents {including a child who is a US citizen} then withdrew at 07:25.

Detention

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces detained Firas Al-Qaddi {a resident of Al-Jalazoun camp}.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ameer Naji Abdel-Raziq {17 years old}, Hamdi Mohammad Sharif Qindah and Anwar Mohammad Salem in Abu Shikhiudum village.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Silah Al-Harthiya town junction, detained a resident and confiscated his motor cycle.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at Al-Silah Al-Harthiya town junction detained Mohammad Najib Hamayil Jaradat {a resident of Al-Silah Al-Harthiya town}.

Injuries

At 07:10 on May 13th 2019, Ameen Zidan Zakarna was hospitalized with contusions after he was run over by a Israeli Military Jeep along Al-Nassrat road during their raid into Jenin city {as mentioned in the previous report}.

Confiscation of Property

At 23:05, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at Al-Silah Al-Harthiya town junction confiscated a motorcycle driven by Mohammad Najib Hamayil Jaradat {a resident of Al-Silah Al-Harthiya town}after detaining him

TUBAS

Destruction of Property

At 18:00,A fire broke out in areas of pastoral land in the Khallet al-Bad area in Wadi al-Maleh located in the northern Jordan Valley due to the training of the Israeli occupation forces in the area, which led to the burning of a large area of ​​pastures on which livestock owners rely mainly on grazing their cattle.

Confiscation of Property

At 15:45 on May 12th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated 2 vehicle owned by journalists in in Khirbeit Humsat Al-Foqa area located in the North Jordan valley region {as they were covering the events were Israeli military forces as they were covering the removal 15 families out of their homes} for alleged military training in the area {as mentioned in the previous report}.

Assaults on Property

At 16:00 on May 13th 2019,the Israeli military forced 15 families out of their home in Khirbeit Humsat Al-Foqa area located in the North Jordan valley region from 16:00 on May 13th 2019 until 10:00 on May 14th 2019 for alleged military training in the area {which was based on a prior military order given to local residents}.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Quffin town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation then withdrew at 02:00.

Attack

At 00:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Quffin town and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Assaults on Property

At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned in Kafr Qaddum village prevented Abdel-Haleem Abdallah from entering his agricultural land.

NABLUS

Detention

At 21:00, Israeli forces detained Eyas Al-Shanti {a resident of Nablus city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

Assaults on Property

On May 13th 2019,Israeli forces halted construction work on a agricultural road {approximately 400 m long which would benefits farmers land located in the east area of the village} because of its location in area C {which is under Israeli Military and administrative control}.

Settlers Attacks

At 11:30, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Khirbiet Yanoun village located in east Aqraba town then chopped down several Olive trees.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles until 09:35.

Raid

At 09:40, Israeli forces raided Qarwat Bani Hassan town and began excavation works in the archaeological area located on the eastern side of the town then withdrew at 13:40.

Land Levelling

At 14:30, Israeli forces leveled agricultural land located near "Yaqar" settlement in Deir Istiya town.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

1. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town, detained a resident, temporarily detained 2 children then released them at a later time.
2. At 05:05, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 07:00.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Rami Soliman Salah in Al-Khader town.
2. Israeli forces detained Shakib Abed Hassan Taqatqa and Whab Mohammad Thawabta in Beit Fajjar town.

Temporary Detention

At 24:00, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 children: Mohammad Marzouq Soliman Salah (14 years old} and Mahmoud Marzouq Soliman Salah (15 years old} during their raid into Al-Khader town then released them at a later time.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 22:05, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
2. At 07:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Arroub camp then detained 4 children.
3. At dawn on May 14th 2019, Israeli forces raided Deir Sammit village then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 4 children: Mohammed Nasser Mahfouz {15 years old}, Mohammed Jamal Abu Sal {17 years old}, Ahmad Hassouna Al-Badawi {16 years old}, and Ammar Mohammed Jawabra {15 years old} during their raid into Al-Arroub camp.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on May 6th 2019 The Israeli occupation forces allowed the increase of fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the north of Gaza and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding North and Central Gaza districts.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

At 10:00 on May 13th 2019,Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 70 m into the vicinity of east Beit Hanoun town and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 14:30.

Attack

At 11:30 on May 13th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Raid

At 12:00 on May 13th 2019,Israeli forces escorting military bulldozers stormed 70 m into the vicinity of east Al-Buriej camp and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 16:00.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects..
