Daily Report May 16, 2017

On the evening of May 15th 2017, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Hizma town road and detained a resident.

1. At 20:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town until 04:10.
2. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and clashed with several residents.
3. At 23:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Ijza village until 04:10.
4. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Duqu village and clashed with several residents.
5. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Sa'ed Al-Shiekh village until 05:00.
6. At 04:20, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town until 05:00.

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint along Hizma town road detained Iz Misbah Abu Sbieh.

1. At 21:30, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 22:30, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village
3. At 00:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beit Duqu village.

At 10:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshiper.

On the evening of May 15th 2017, Israeli forces closed "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Bet El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city and impeded the free flow of traffic from both directions.

At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {located along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho districts} then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Awarta town until 03:30.
2. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Bir Zeit town until 03:50.
3. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Qarwat Bani Zied village, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched 2 homes and detained a child.
4. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village and detained 2 residents.

1. Israeli forces detained the child Ahlam Hamza Mustafa Al-Maloukh {16 years old} in Qarwat Bani Zied village.
2. Israeli forces detained Musa Khalid Abdel-Mu'ti and Ibrahim Adel Yusef Shantar in Deir Abu Mash'al village.

1. On the morning of May 15th 2017, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 09:05, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Abboud town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.
4. At 12;00, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Mahkama military checkpoint near "Bet El" settlement located in North Al-Bireh city fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 8 residents including 3 children.

At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Al-Bayda village, temporarily detained Tariq Musa Daraghma then released him at 21:00.

At 11:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jit village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town.
2. At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Izbit Al-Tabib village.
3. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and detained 2 residents.

Israeli forces detained Abdel-Azziz Farid Abdel-Azziz Hussien and Kareem Omran Hussien in Azzun town.

At 03:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Azzun town.

1. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Aqraba town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:15.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beita town junction and detained a resident.

1. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Tel village, clashed with several residents as they stormed 6 homes , detained 2 residents then withdrew at 02:30.
2. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided the east Neighborhoods of Nablus city and Balata camp, stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 05:50
3. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Assirah Al-Shimaliya town , detained a resident then withdrew at 05:30.

1. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ziyad Mohammad Qawariq {A resident of Awarta village}
2. Israeli forces detained Hamza Sa'ed Ramadan and Talib Samir Silwadi in Tel village.
3. Israeli forces detained Hazim Mohammad Mustafa Sawalha in Assirah Al-Shimaliya town.

1. At 10:25 and again at 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 20:45.
2. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city en searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 13:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Nu'we'ma village until 14:40.
2. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Jericho city and Aqbat Al-Jaber camp then detained a resident on the camp.

At 11:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Ush Al-Ghurab area located in east Beit Sahur city then searched residents and vehicles until 13:10.

At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem and Beit Sahur cities, Ayda and Al-Duhisheh camps in Bethlehem city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes in Al-Duhisheh camp and detained 2 residents in Ayda camp then withdrew at 05:00.

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Khalil Arfat Abu Sarour {A resident of Ayda camp in Bethlehem city} and Mohammad Ziyad Arafa {A resident of Al-Duhisheh camp} during their raid into Ayda and Al-Duhisheh camps in Bethlehem city.

1. At 11:55, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Billal Bin Rabah mosque located in North Bethlehem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.
2. At 01:45, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed several homes during their raid into Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city.

1. At 07:25 on May 15th 2017, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sa'ir town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 08:30 and again at 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Hebron city {located along road 35 near Hahul town bridge} hen searched residents and vehicles until 17:15.
3. At 19:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Huwar area {located at the North entrance of Halhul town} then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 13:15 and again at 03:15, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
2. At 23:45, Israeli forces raided Yatta and Al-Samou' cities, detained a resident then withdrew at 06:00.
3. At 03:05, Israeli forces raided Dura town, detained a resident then withdrew at 16:00.
4. At dawn on May 16th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, detained 2 residents and summoned Mohammad Zuhier Al-Alami to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

*Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

At 08:30 on May 15th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats as they chased them off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town and as a result killed a fisherman.

At 09:30 on May 14th 2017, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 100 m into east Al-Qarara Town and opened fire as they levelled a plot of agricultural land then withdrew at a later time.
