WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 08:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Al-Issawiya, the citizen: Ahmed Muhammad Hussein Derbas.
2. At 12:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained Barakat Mahdi Barakat Al-Zaatari - a resident of the Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood in Jerusalem.
3. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained Amin Rushdi Musa Al-Shweiki - a resident of Al-Thawri neighborhood in Jerusalem.
4. On the evening of 17/05/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Muhammad Al-Arna`out - a resident of Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem.
5. At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces detained Bahjat Al-Razem in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Attack

On 05/17/2021,the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the towns of Abu Dis and Beit Hanina, and in the vicinity of the Qalandia and Shuafat checkpoints in Jerusalem, fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators, and as a result wounded a civilian, and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Ibrahim Muhammad Ali al-Lawzi was wounded during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in the Jerusalem governorate.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 17:00, a group of settlers stormed the Bab al-Rahma cemetery near the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem, and "Talmudic" rituals were performed on the site.
2. At 17:30, a group of settlers were present in Al-Ghazali Square near Bab Al-Asbat (one of the gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem, and the "Talmudic" rituals were performed on the site.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Detention

1. At 09:30, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Mamoun Mahmoud Kasbah - a resident of Kharbatha Al-Misbah village.
2. At 10:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Abd al-Khaliq Iyad Muhammad Barnat - a resident of Ni'lin, while he was reporting to the Israeli intelligence, based on prior notification.

Attack

On 05/17/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh, near the village of Ain Qinya and the entrance to Jalazoun camp, fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators, and as a result wounded 2 civilians (including a child), and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

The 2 civilians {including a child}:Mustafa Atiyah Zaid, 15, and Ahmed Sabri Hashem were wounded during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in Al-Bireh & Ramallah governorate.

Closure of main Roads

At 15:25, the Israeli occupation forces closed the entrance to Beitlo village, with concrete blocks.

JENIN

Attack

At 22:20, the Israeli occupation forces in charge of guarding the separation wall near the village of Anin opened fire towards a citizen and as a result wounded him.

Injuries

Bilal Mahmoud Saba'na was wounded after the Israeli occupation forces in charge of guarding the separation wall near the village of Anin opened fire towards him.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 12:20, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the "Ainaf" checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Attack

1. At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces in charge of guarding the separation wall near the town of Zita opened fire towards a citizen while trying to enter the Green Line and as a result wounded him and left him hospitalized at a government hospital in Tulkram.
2. At 19:50,the Israeli occupation forces positioned near Gate No. 104 built on the separation wall near the city of Tulkarm, near Gate No. 104, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters toward demonstrators then detained 4 citizens (including a child).
3. At 19:45, the Israeli occupation forces in charge of guarding the separation wall near the town of Deir Al-Ghusoun opened fire towards a vehicle owned by the citizen: Jalal Numan Ghanem, while he was on his land, causing material damage to the vehicle.

Detention

The 4 citizen: Omar Amjad Shaheen {14 years old}, Abdul Rahman Ibrahim Hamdan, Mustafa Muhammad Dhiab, and Muhammad Ubaida Nimer during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces near Tulkarm.

Injuries

Moamen Zakaria Izzat Anini {25 years old} {resident of Allar town} was wounded after the Israeli occupation forces opened fire towards him near the town of Zita.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Detention

At 20:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the entrance to the town of Azzun detained citizen: Muhammad Marwan Sweidan - a resident of Azzun town.

Attack

At 21:25, the Israeli occupation forces, near the western region of the town of Jayyous, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the protesters, which resulted in the injury of a number of civilians - suffocation cases due to inhalation of tear gas.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 12:20 , the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Hawara checkpoint and blocked traffic.

Attack

On 17/05/2021,the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the Huwara checkpoint and the villages of Burqa, Deir Sharaf and Einabus, and near the junction of the "Shafi Shamron" settlement and in the area of Jabal Abu Subaih in the town of Beita. fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators and as a result wounded 5 civilians, and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation and then detained a citizen near the entrance to the village of Deir Sharaf.

Injuries

The 5 citizens Ahmed Muhammad Maari, Nizam Antari responded, Alaa Adnan Saif, Muhammad Iyad Douglas, {15 years old}, and Hamada Muhammad Barqawi. were wounded during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in Nablis governorate.

Detention

The detainee during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces near the entrance to the village of Deir Sharaf is: Ziyad Loay Nofal.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 11:00, a group of settlers entered the citizens' agricultural lands, located on the southern side of the town of Qusra, and cut down the branches of a number of olive trees.
2. At 18:00, a group of settlers entered the outskirts of the village of Burin, and stormed a house owned by a citizen of the Sabaa family.

SALFIT

Attack

On 16/05/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the entrances to the town of Deir Istiya and the village of Haris fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards demonstrators.

Closure of main Roads

At 12:30, the Israeli occupation forces closed the iron gate established at the entrance to the town of Kafeel Haris, and reopened it at 14:10.

JERICHO

Detention

1. At dawn on 17/05/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained 4 citizens (including two citizens, and two brothers children):Sahar Muhammad Kaabneh, Nariman Walid Kaabneh, Ayham Hani Abu Jamous {16 years old}, and Muhammad Hani Abu Jamous {14 years old} in Al-Auja village
2. At 03:55, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Al-Auja detained the citizen: Riyad Fahmi Nujum.

Attack

At 00:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the northern entrance to the city of Jericho opened fire towards a vehicle, and seriously wounded its driver who was hospitalized at an Israeli hoslpital.

Injuries

The citizen who was seriously wounded by the shooting at his vehicle near the northern entrance to Jericho is: Mahran Farhan Talal Salahat.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on Wadi al-Qaf road, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Attack

1. On 05/17/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrances to Beit Ummar, Adna, and Al-Aroub camp, near the bridges of the town of Halhul and Beit Kahel, and near the junction of the town of Beit Awa and in the area of Bab Al-Zawiya in Hebron city fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators as a result killed a child, injured 2 civilians and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 23:45, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near "Hagai" settlement, located south of Hebron, opened fire towards a child and as a result wounded him then detained him.

Killings

Obaidah Akram Jawabreh {17 years old - resident of Al-Arroub camp} was killed after Israeli occupation forces opened fire towards him.

Injuries

1. The two citizens Yusef Madi Jawabra and Sajid Ziyad Shaheen were wounded during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in the Hebron governorate
2. Mahmoud Basim Abu Aisha, 17 years old was wounded after the Israeli occupation forces opened fire towards him near the vicinity of "Hagai" settlement south of Hebron.

Detention

1. At dawn on 05/17/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Imran Ismail Muhammad Al Mallah, a resident of Al-Majd village.
2. At dawn on 05/17/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Baraa Youssef Mohammed - a resident of Deir Al-Asal village.
3. At 12:45, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Shaker Talal Abido - a resident of Bani Naim town.
4. The detainee (after being injured) near the "Hagai" settlement, located south of Hebron, is: Mahmoud Basim Abu Aisha, 17 years old.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.

Between the hours of 07:00 on 17/05/2021 and until 07:00 on 18/05/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired dozens of artillery shells from their positions on the Green Line and launched artillery shells from gunboats towards number of sites and targets In the northern governorate of Gaza.

Air Strike

Between the hours of 07:00 on 17/05/2021 and until 07:00 on 18/05/2021, Israeli warplanes launched 59 missiles in (29 successive airstrikes) targeting sites of Palestinian armed groups, open lands, facilities and homes in North Gaza Governorate As a result, 4 civilians were killed, 78 were wounded, 9 homes were destroyed, and a sponge factory was damaged.

Killings

4 unidentified civilians were killed as a result of an airstrike in North Gaza Governorate.

Injuries

78 unidentified civilians were injured as a result of an airstrike in the North Gaza Governorate.

House Demolition

9 homes were destroyed by the air strike in the northern Gaza.

Between the hours of 07:00 on 17/05 2021 until 07:00 on 18/05/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired dozens of shells from artillery and gunboats, at targets and homes in the Gaza governorate.

Air Strike

Between the hours of 07:00 on 17/05/2021 and until 07:00 on 18/05/2021, Israeli warplanes launched 84 missiles in (52 successive airstrikes) targeting sites belonging to Palestinian armed groups, open lands, facilities, homes, apartment buildings and apartments And a vehicle, security headquarters, and the endowment building in the Gaza governorate, which led to the death of 8 civilians, wounding 38 civilians (including children and women), and the destruction of 15 homes and vehicles, and the targeting of the endowment building.

30 unidentified civilians were wounded as a result of air strikes in the Central Gaza Governorate.

KHAN YUNIS

Between the hours of 07:00 on 17/05/2021 until 07:00 on 18/05/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired a number of artillery shells and gunboats at targets and homes in Khan Yunis.

Air Strike

Between the hours of 07:00 on 17/05/2021 and until 07:00 on 18/05/2021, Israeli warplanes launched 22 missiles in (19 successive airstrikes) targeting sites of Palestinian armed groups, open lands, facilities, homes, and other targets in the governorate. Khan Yunis, which led to the death of a citizen, wounding of 25 civilians, and the destruction of 4 homes.

A unidentified citizen was killed by the air strikes in Khan Yunis.
