WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

On the morning of 18.05.2020, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At dawn on 19.05.2020, Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Ahmad Abu Ghazaleh, Muhammad Al-Jolani, Adham Al-Zaatari, Abdullah Al-Jolani, and Raed Al-Zughair in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. At dawn on 19.05.2020, Israeli forces detained Ali Jaber in Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
3. At dawn on 19.05.2020, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Al-Daqaq in Al-Thuri neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
4. Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Mohammad Obied in Al-Eisawiya village.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp, detained 4 residents {including a special need patient}.
2. At dawn on 19.05.2020, Israeli forces raided Kobar town,clashed with several residents as they stormed several homes then detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 4 residents:Muhammad Khalid Hammad (with special needs), Zain Abu Awda, Amir Abu Awda, and Muhammad Safi in Al-Jalazoun camp.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Qayes Mohammad Al-Barghouthi and Nassar Muhram Al-Barghouthi in Kobar town.

Attack

At dawn on 19.05.2020, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed several homes during their raid into Kobar town.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces raided Rumana and Al-Taybeh villages.
2. At 06:00, Israeli forces raided Anin village.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 20:10, Israeli forces tightened their restrictions at Tayasir checkpoint and impeded traffic.

Closure of main Roads

At 11:25, Israeli forces closed the main road leading to Bardala village in the North Jordan valley with cement blocks.

TULKAREM

Land Levelling

On 18. 05. 2020, Israeli forces positioned in the area between The Villages of Shufa and Kafa, an area estimated at 15 dunums of olive trees, located west of Avni Hafetz settlement, owned by Hamed family and, the residents of the village of Kafa, and Aref Yaacoub.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:00 and at 01:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 20:50,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
3. At 20:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Jayyous town and Al-Nabi Eliyas village to search cars and check the identities of citizens.

Raid

At 20:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

Confiscation of Property

At 20:45, Israeli forces confiscated a Bulldozer owned by Majdi Hashim Mohammed Hamad - Residents of Hajjah village, while working on his land in the village of Immatin.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 21:10,the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Beit Furik checkpoint and impeding traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 01:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance to the village of Tel to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.

Raid

At 08:00 and at 18:20, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village until 22:05.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

At 20:10,the Israeli occupation forces increased their procedures at the Hamra checkpoint, impeding traffic.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:50,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash Junction (the southern entrance to the city of Bethlehem) to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.

Raid

1. At 04:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Ubidiya town, detained a resident to put pressure on his son, Qutaiba, to turn himself in to the occupying forces.
2.At 06:45, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town until 08:00.

Detention

1. At 04:50, Israeli forces positioned at Container military checkpoint detained Jameel Abdallah Jameel Raba' {a resident of Bethlehem}.
2. Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Musa Khalifa{to put pressure on his son, Qutaiba, to turn himself in to the occupying forces}.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ithna town junction to search cars and check the identities of citizens.

Raid

1. On 18.05.2020, Israeli forces raided Burin village and took pictures of houses and wells to collect water and electricity network (under construction).
2. At 03:50, Israeli forces raided Ithna town and Deir Sammit village, stormed and searched a home in Deir Sammit village then withdrew at 07:10.
3. At 07:40, Israeli forces raided Hadab Al-Fuwar and Al-Fuwar camp and detained 2 residents.
4. At dawn on 19.05.2020, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub, detained a child and summoned Adam Tafish to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

Detention

1. The two detainees in the village of Hadab al-Fawwar and al-Fawwar camp are: Musab Asfour, residents of Hadab al-Fawwar village, and Wa'ad Jamal al-Badawi, residents of Al-Fawwar camp.
2. The detainee in Al-Aroub camp is Naseem Tayseer al-Titi, 17.

Confiscation of Property

On 18. 05. 2020 The occupying forces confiscated a 16-cubic-meter wooden hut owned by Hisham Eida in the village of Beit Ainoun.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on 26. 08. 2014 The permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings and introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, and to expand the area of fishing for 6 miles with an increase of up to 12 miles with At the end of this year, the area of the "buffer security" area will be reduced from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and the prevention of assassinations, and the remaining issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
•Since the Morning of 28. 06. 2019 The occupying forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from the oasis area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza and even to the port of Gaza by 6 nautical miles, and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah beach to 15 nautical miles.
• Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by gunboats shooting towards the boats of fishermen at sea in North Gaza.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez" on 18. 05. 2020 is closed (excluding the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

Attack

At 08:00 on 18.05.2020,Israeli gunboats opened fire towards fishermen boats while they were chasing them at sea off the shore of the Sudanese area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Mantar-Karni crossing: closed since 02. 03. 2011 once and for all by unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shujaiya Crossing - "Nahal Oz" fuel crossing: closed since 04. 01. 2010 by unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

*Yasser Arafat International Airport: Closed.
*Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - Kerem Shalom: 18. 05. 2020 is partially open (for the introduction of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel, building materials for the private sector and internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda port - Rafah: on 18. 05. 2020 is closed.
