WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village, demolished a apartment building {consisting of 3 floors and 6 apartments with several merchant shops} owned by Jamal Aliyan for allegedly being built with out a licence during which they clashed with residents and as a result injured a journalist and detained a resident.
2. At 13:00, Israeli forces raided Qalandiya village and demolished a truck parking lot owned by Ashraf Idris for allegedly being built with out a licence.

Detention

1. At 14:45, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Naseem Hamada, Ezzeddine Atoun and Obeida Amira in Beit Safaf village.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Aliyan in A;-Eisawiya village.

Temporary Detention

On May 1st 2018, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued a court order preventing Al-Shiekh Arkrama Sabri {
The preacher of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the head of the Islamic Supreme Council in Jerusalem} from travelling for a period of 1 month after detaining him from his home in Al-Suwana neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Attack

At 08:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed a apartment building during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village and as a result injured a photojournalist.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Wael Al-Salayma {A photo journalist} during clashes in Al-Eisawiya village.

House Demolition

At 21:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halmish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles

1. At 08:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Mughier village and detained a resident.
2. At 15:25, Israeli forces raided Bil'in village and detained a resident.
3. At 16:40, Israeli forces raided Ramoun village.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ghassan Lafi Abu Al-Einein in Al-Mughier village.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Nasser Yusef Burnat in Bi'lin village.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Jalmat village and detained a resident.

2. Israeli forces detained Adnan Hamarshat in Ya'bad town.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the south entrance of Tulkarem city then searched residents and vehicles until 17:10.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Kadumim" settlement {located along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Nablus} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:20 and again at 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hablat tunnel {located at the south entrance of Qalqiliya city} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Jayyous town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 20:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched 3 homes then withdrew at 02:00.

Attack

At 22:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched 3 homes during their raid into Qalqiliya city.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Wadi Qana road {which connects Salfit and Qalqiliya districts} and detained a resident.

Detention

1. On May 1st 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction checkpoint detained Rashid Anas Hithnawi {A resident of Jenin city}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint along Wadi Qana road {which connects Salfit and Qalqiliya districts} detained Yazid Kamal Abdel-Jabar Abdel-Dayim {A resident of Tulkarem camp in Tulkarem district}.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

1. At 22:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town, detained a child then withdrew at 01:25.
2. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 02:55.

Detention

1. At 03:00, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Container Military checkpoint detained Hytham Majid Al-Natshah {A resident of Hebron city}.
2. Israeli forces detained Rabi' Yassir Salim Hamamrah {17 years old} in Al-Khader town.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At dawn on May 2nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained 3 residents {including a child} and summoned Hassan Majed Ahmad Al-Salibi to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. At dawn on May 2nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, summoned 2 residents: Mus'ab Nidal Al-Zaghir and Mohammad Muhyi Al-Awawi to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

1. At 11:20, Israeli forces detained Aya Imad Al-Bakri after storming her home in the old city of Hebron.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Sulaiman Jawdat Suliman Bahr {17 years old}, Laith Mohammed Mahmoud Alami, Rami Ibrahim Khaled Sbarana in Beit Ummar town.

Attack

1. At 19:00, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents near the camp entrance for alleged stoning.
2. At dawn on May 2nd 2018, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on April 11th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 9 nautical miles for a period of 3 months.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opened fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza , Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured a resident.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 15:30 on May 1st 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards agricultural land in North Beit Lahiya town and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 16:00 on May 1st 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day}located in east Al-Jabaliya town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified residents after opening fire towards agricultural land in North Beit Lahiya town

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

1. At 16:00 on May 1st 2018,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day} located in east Gaza city .
2. At 23:50 on May 1st 2018,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired towards agricultural land in east Al-Zaytouneh neighborhood located in south east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 08:20 on May 1st 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Deir Al-Balah city.
2. At 16:00 on May 1st 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day} located in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 08:20 on May 1st 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 11:00 on May 1st 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day} in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.

1. At 16:00 on May 1st 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the Right of Return } located in Al-Nahda neighborhood in Rafah city
2. At 20:00 on May 1st 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
