Daily Report May 20, 2017

1. At 13:20, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya Military checkpoint fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several resiednts for alleged stoning as they were demonstrating in solidarity with Palestinian detainees who are currently on hunger strike for alleged stoning and as s result injured 2 demonstrators.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Jabal area junction in Abu Dis town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 19:30, Israeli forces positioned in Beit Ijza village fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4. At 19:30, Israeli forces positioned in Beit Duqu village fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 19:10.

1. At 14:55, Israeli forces raided Deir Nathim village and detained a child.
2. At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Ein Yabroud village, stormed a secondary school, confiscated surveillance camera footage then withdrew at 00:45.

At 13:30, a demonstration took place Ni'lin town protesting against the construction of the wall then clashes erupted between protesters and Israeli forces and as a result injured 3 residents and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation then detained a child and temporarily detained 2 international peace activists {including a Journalist}.
2. At 13:30, a demonstration took place in Bilin village protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with several residents.
3. At 15:15, a demonstration took place in Al-Nabi Saleh village protesting against the construction settlements during which Israeli forces clashed with demonstrators as they were attempting to reach the demonstration site, injured 2 residents and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents during demonstrations in Ni'lin town and as a result injured 3 residents..
2. At 14:20, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Abboud town fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning demonstrations protesting in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners who are currently on hunger strike and as a result injured 5 residents{including 2 children one of who was an infant who suffocated from tear gas inhalation} and detained 2 residents including a National Security force officer.
3. At 14:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning in Budrus village.
4. At 14:40, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of "Ofar" Military base fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations protesting in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners who are currently on hunger strike.
5. At 15:15, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations protesting land confiscation for the purpose of settlement construction and as a result injured 2 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
6. At 18:20, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of "Psagot" settlement located in the east area of Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

1. Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified residents as they clashed with several residents during demonstrations in Ni'lin town.
2. Israeli forces injured 5 resiednts: Abdel-Rahman Mohammad Al-Barghouthi {A infant -one year and a half old who suffocated from tear gas inhalation}, Mohammad Jassim Attah Zidan (A 16 years old and resident of Beit Rima town}, Abdallah Rabi' Mohammad Thiyab, I\timad Abdallah Hussien Jaber and Omar Mahmoud Abdel-Majid during confrontations near Abboud town.
3. Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Abdallah Rabi' Thiyab and Mohammad Bahij Al-Rimawi in Al-Nabi Saleh village.

1. At 12:55, Israeli forces detained Billal Abdallah Abu Arah {A resident of Abu Falah village}.
2. Israeli forces detained Raja'i Abdel-Ra'uf Al-Khatib {17 years old} in Deir Nathim village.
3. Israeli forces injured Mustafa Jamal Al-Khawaja {17 years old} during clashes in Ni'lin town.
4. Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Ibrahim Hassan Yassin Balas {A National Security Force Officer} and Isam Nasser Sha'ban during confrontations near Abboud town.

At 23:30, Israeli forces stormed a secondary school during their raid into Ein Yabroud village and confiscated surveillance camera footage from the school.

Ar 14:10, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Badoud area located in east Atouf village fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents participating in demonstrations in solidarity with Palestinian detainees who are currently on hunger strike and as a result injured a resident after he was struck by a tear gas grenade canister to his back.

1. At 14:15, Israeli forces raided Kafr Jamal village.
2. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Shwikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city , detained 3 residents then withdrew at 05:30.

Israeli forces detained: Mohammad Khalid Shaker Nayifa, Munthir Abdel-Azziz Akbariya and Amjaj Jihad Ahmad Abu Zahra.

At 20:35, Israeli forces positioned at Bazariya village junction in east Anabta town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident after his vehicle rammed into a Israeli Military jeep and left a child suffocated from tear gas inhalation and temporarily detained a child then released him at a later time.

Israeli forces injured Wi'am Anwar Tawfiq Abu Al-Asal after a Israeli Military vehicle rammed his car during confrontations Bazariya village junction in east Anabta town.

At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town and clashed with several residents.
2. At 19:10, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town and clashed with several residents.

At 13:50, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum village against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site and as a result injured 9 residents {including 2 children} and damaged 5 vehicles.

At 13:50, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents who were participating in demonstrations against the closure of the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village and as a result injured 9 residents {including 2 children} and damaged 5 vehicles.
2. At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Qalqilya city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they demonstrated in solidarity with Palestinian detainees who are currently on hunger strike and as a result temporarily detained 2 resident {including a child} then released them at a later time.
3. At 18:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Azzun town.
4. At 19:10, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Jayyous town.

Israeli forces injured 9 unidentified residents during clashes in Kafr Qaddum village.

At 14:00, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents {including a child}: Bashar Hassan Mohammad Mahmoud {16 years old} and Mohammad Jamil Salim Abu Shahin.

1. At 13:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shave Shomron" settlement junction the searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Salem village junction and detained 2 residents including a child.

1. At 17:30, Israeli forces detained Omar Nasser Sharqawi {A resident of Askar Camp in Nablus city}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at Salem village junction detained Hamza Mahmoud Al-Namrawati {16 years old}{A resident of Askar camp in Nablus city} and Marwan Ghassan Qar'awi {A resident of Nablus city}.

1. At 13:40, Israeli forces positioned near Beit Dajjan village junction fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left 2 residents {including a journalist} suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 13:40, Israeli forces positioned at Beita town junction fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

1. Israeli forces injured Nasser Abu Jish during confrontations on Beit Dajjan village.
2. Israeli forces injured Sa'ed Mohammad Salah Adeli during confrontations in Beita town.

1. At 12:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Harris village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 12:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Harris village then searched resiednts and vehicles .

1. At 08:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the north entrance of Jericho city the searched residents and vehicles until 13:30.
2. At 09:15 and again at 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 18:40.

At 13:20, Israeli forces fired live ammunition , rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they participated in demonstrations in solidarity with Palestinian detainees who are currently on hunger strike and as a result injured 3 residents.

At 14:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Nihalin village then searched residents and vehicles until 17:25.

At 02:55, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city, detained a resident, summoned 2 residents: Loia Nayef Zaboun and Mohammad Khader Zarina to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning then withdrew at 06:25.

At 13:20, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Billal Bin Rabah mosque located in North Bethlehem city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several resiednts demonstrating in solidarity with Palestinian detainees who are on hunger strike and detained 5 residents including 3 children.

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Halhoul town the searched residents and vehicles until 11:30.
2. At 14:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.
3. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Tabaqa village jucntion then searched residents and vehicles until 22:10.

1. At 14;30, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, clashed with several residents near the entrance of the governmental hospital and as a result injured Imad Ahmad Musa Aqil and detained 4 residents.
2. At 12:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, clashed with several residents , detained a child then withdrew at 13:00.
3. At 19:40, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 20:10.

1. At 21:30, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Yusra Kathim Al-Tamimi {14 years old} and Mohammad Salim Abdel-Min'im Sultan {16 years old} near Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city.
2. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Amir Dweik, Ahmad Al-Jindi, Hamza Al-Natshaeh and Mohammad Al-Natsheh in Hebron city.
3. Israeli forces detained Hassan Mohammad Hassan Sawabnah {17 years old} in Beit Ummar town.

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Hebron city and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 12:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beit Ummar town.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

At 13:30 on May 19th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several resiednts in North Beit Lahiya town and as a result left 2 residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 09:00 on May 19th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents located in the vicinity Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city and as a result left 7 residents including a child suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

At 14:30 on May 19th 2017, Israeli forces opened fire and launched tear gas grenades from their positions behind the Green Line towards several residents in east Abasan Al-Kabira and Khuza'a towns and as a result injured 2 residents.
