WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

On May 19th 2018, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance Al-Eizariya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

1. At 00:30, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Sahara gate in the old city of Jerusalem fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
2. At 01:00, Israeli forces positioned near Bab Al-Amoud gate in the old city of Jerusalem fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
3. At 02:20, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Hizma town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Rantis village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 16:45, Israeli forces raided Khirbithat Bani Harith village.
2. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Dura Al-Qara' town and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. On May 19th 2018, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ahmad Ziyad {A resident of Beituniya town}.
2. At 15:15 on May 19th 2018, Israeli forces detained Abdel-Kareem Tawfiq Abdel-Kareem Hussien {A resident of Ramallah city}.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mahmoud Jamal Al Masri, and Naseem Rouhi Awni Hamdan in Dura Al-Qara' town.

Settlers Attacks

At 08:10, a Israeli settler guarding "Talmon" settlement located North West of Ein Qinya village opened fire towards Atta Al-Khatib {A special needs patient who is Mute} {A resident of Ein Qinya village} as he was farming his agricultural land and also assaulted him as he detained him then released him after his relatives arrived.

QALQILIYA

Attack

At 01:15,Israeli forces positioned at "Ayal" crossing point located in North Qalqiliya city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Settlers Attacks

At 01:10, a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitshar" settlement set fire to agricultural land planted with Olive groves located in Huwara town east of the settlement.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 12:00.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 19:10.

Raid

1. At 18:10, Israeli forces raided Husan village and set up a checkpoint then withdrew at 19:10.
2. At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Faradis , Abu Najeem and Al-Asakra villages then stormed and searched a home.

HEBRON

Temporary Detention

At 19:30, Israeli forces positioned at a Military checkpoint in Tel Al-Rumayda neighborhood in the old city of Hebron temporally detained the child Amliya Yassin Yunis Abu Ayisha {A residents Tel Al-Rumayda neighborhood in the old city of Hebron} then released her at 00:40 after he father located were she was detained inside a container near the checkpoint he soldiers closed the checkpoint and prevented him from returning with his daughter and residents of the neighborhood who were accompanying him to their homes in the neighborhood after receiving treatment in the hospital.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on April 11th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 9 nautical miles for a period of 3 months.

• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza and Central Gaza district.
• 2 resident died of serious injuries sustained after being wounded by the Israeli Military during clashes in east Jabliya town in North Gaza district and in east Al-Buriej camp in Central Gaza on May 14th 2018.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed on May 19th 2018.

Killings

At 16:00 on May 19th 2018, Ahmad Abed Ramadan Abu Samrah {20 Years old} {A resident of Jabaliya town} after being wounded by the Israeli Military during clashes in east Jabliya town in North Gaza district on May 14th 2018.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 00:45 on May 20th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza city.

At 11:00 on May 19th 2018, Mohammad Mazen Aliyan {20 years old}{A residents of Al-Nussirat camp} after being wounded by the Israeli Military during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp in Central Gaza on May 14th 2018.

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents and for the entry of emergency humanitarian and medical supplies.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
