WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jaba' village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Anata town then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 03:00, Israeli forces detained Khalid Abu Maliya in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Killings

At 21:30 on May 20th 2018, Azziz Musa Salem Awisat {53 years old} {A Palestinian detainee sentenced to 30 year in Israeli prisons}{A resident of Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city} died after he was hospitalized for internal bleeding after he was assaulted by Israeli forces {for allegdly pouring hot water onto a Israeli Police officer} in "Ashil" prison on May 2nd 2018 after which he was transported from Al-Ramlah prison hospital to Assaf Harofeh hospital after his condition deteriorated he was then admitted to Tel Hoshmir hospital then was later returned to Assaf Harofeh hospital were he died after hospital officials refused to keep him in the hospital.

Attack

1. At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned in Bab Al-Amoud area in the old city of Jerusalem fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 00:10, Israeli forces positioned along Al-Madaris road in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning {after the death of Azziz Musa Salem Awisat}.
3. At 00:30, Israeli forces positioned near the North junction of Al-Ram town red stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halmish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 13:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Nabi Saleh village, temporarily detained a child then released him at 23:35.

Temporary Detention

At 13:00, Israeli forces temporarily detained the child Mohammad Fadil Al-Tamimi {15 years old} during their raid into Al-Nabi Saleh village then released him at 23:35.

JENIN

Raid

At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, clashed with several residents after storming and searching the home of Raed Abu Sarour and as a result injured 4 residents then confiscated 6000 NIS from inside the home and withdrew at 04:00.

Attack

At 01:20, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Jenin city and as a result injured 4 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 4 residents: Mohammed Jamal Salfiti, Hisham Abu Ghali, Mohamed Fahmawi and Mohammed Khamis Abu Nimer during clashes in Jenin city.

Confiscation of Property

At 01:20, Israeli forces confiscated 6000 NIS after storming and searching the home of Raed Abu Sarour during their raid into Jenin city.

TUBAS

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Al-Far'a village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the south entrance of Al-Far'a village detained Tawfiq Rafiq Asaad Al - Kharraz {A Resident of Tubas City}.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, stormed and searched 2 homes then withdrew at 03:55.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:40.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 02:40, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za'tara junction checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-Mu'araj road {which connects Jericho and Ramallah districts} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 20:20, Israeli forces raided Fasayil village, confiscated a vehicle owned by Riziq Sawarkat for allegedly attempting to run over a Israeli settler, temporarily detained 2 residents then withdrew at 21:00.

Temporary Detention

At 20:20, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents: Saleh Mohammed Sawarka and Yasser Saleh Sawarka during their raid into Fasayil village then released them at a later time.

Confiscation of Property

At 20:20, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Riziq Sawarkat for allegedly attempting to run over a Israeli settler during their raid into Fasayil village.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

1. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Sari Mohammed Sari Tatatqa in Beit Fajjar town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 22:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 04:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp and impeded the free flow of traffic after closing the steel gate entrance then reopened it at a later time.

Attack

At 21:30, Israeli forces positioned in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on April 11th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 9 nautical miles for a period of 3 months.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Gaza district
•Palestinian gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Israeli forces near the border fence in east Al-Maghazi camp located in Central Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

1. At 09:00 on May 20th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 17:00 on May 20th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Palestinian gunmen in east Beit Hanun town.
3. At 22:30 on May 20th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 22:30 on May 20th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Palestinian Attacks

At 00:50 on May 21st 2018, Palestinian Gunmen opened fire towards Israeli forces positioned behind the border fence in east Al-Maghazi camp.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents and for the entry of emergency humanitarian and medical supplies.
