WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At dawn on May 22nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 5 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Mohammed Jihad Alian, Wadih Dauod Alayan, Fayez Moheisen, Mohammed Amer Mahmoud, and Mohamed Zakaria Alyan in Al-Eisawiya village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.
2. At 12:00, Israeli Police forces raided the Islamic museum in Al-Aqsa mosque and searched it.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 00:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 03:50, Israeli forces raided Eibwein town and clashed with several residents.
2. At dawn on May 22nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Bil'in village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 15:40, Israeli forces detained Zuhier Rajeh Suliman Abu Awad {A resident of Turmus'aya town}.
2. Israeli forces detained Ismail Abu Rahma in Bil'in village.

Attack

At 03:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Eibwein town.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 10:45, Israeli forces raided Tulkerem city.

QALQILIYA

Raid

1. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qaddum village until 05:00.
2. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Sinariya village, stormed and searched 3 homes then withdrew at 04:00.
3. At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.
4. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city then stormed and searched a apartment building.

NABLUS

Raid

At 20:05, Israeli forces raided Deir Al-Hatab village , temporarily detained a resident then withdrew at 22:20.

Temporary Detention

At 20:05, Israeli forces temporary detained Harb Jamal Abdel-Fattah Odeh during their raid into Deir Al-Hatab village then released him at 22:20.

JERICHO

Raid

At 08:05, Israeli forces raided Jericho city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed The Monastery of the Temptation then withdrew at 11:00.

BETHLEHEM

Detention

At 20:45, Israeli forces detained Ameer Basel Deiriya {A resident of Beit Fajjar town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

Assaults on Property

On May 21st 2018, Israeli forces served a military order to Ibrahim Mohammad Issa Musa {A resident of Al-Khader town} forcing him to leave his agricultural land {approximately 5 dunums} which is located in Khilat Thaher Al-Ein/Al-Mahjar area in Al-Khader town for alleged military purposes and gave him a time period of 30 days raise any objections.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:30, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at the entrances of Al-Samou' and Al-Thahriya towns and Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on May 22nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp and detained 3 residents.
2. At dawn on May 22nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 22:40, Israeli forces positioned along the east bypass road in Hebron city detained Emad Nathmi Mahmoud Al Atrash.
2. At 23:50, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron detained
Hassan Fadel al-Muhtasib.
3. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Yahya Mohammed Al-Hoor, Ahmed Ibrahim Jawabra, and Qusay Jawabra in Al-Arrub camp.
4.Israeli forces detained Mohammad Al-Sharabati in Hebron city.

Confiscation of Property

At 23:15, Israeli forces confiscated a concrete pump owned Ashraf Taha Abu Sanieneh in the old city of Hebron.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on April 11th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 9 nautical miles for a period of 3 months.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding North Gaza and Gaza districts.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Khan Yunis district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

At 09:30 on May 21st 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 60 m into the vicinity of North Beit Lahiya town and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 11:00.

Attack

At 07:30 on May 21st 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Detention

At 12:00 on May 21st 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing point detained Billal Ayman Ahmad Al-Astal {A resident of Khan Yunis city } as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence officers so he can obtain a permit to receive treatment in Jordan.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Raid

At 010:00 on May 21st 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 60 m into the vicinity of east Al-Shi'ayiya neighborhood located in east Gaza city and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 12:00.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 12:00 on May 21st 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 04:45 on May 22nd 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents and for the entry of emergency humanitarian and medical supplies.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
