WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North junction of Al-Ram town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town, temporarily detained a resident {in order to force his son to turn him self over to Israeli Forces} then released him at a later time.

Detention

1. At 04:00 on May 22nd 2018, Israeli forces detained Hytham Nihad Subieh in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. On May 22nd 2018,Israeli forces detained Suliman Yusef Ahmad Abu Gharbiya {A resident of Abu Dis town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence {after Israeli forces temporarily detained his father in order to pressure him to turn him self over to the Israeli Military during their raid into Abu Dis town}.
3. At 21:50, Israeli forces positioned in Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city detained Mohammad Taha Obeid {A resident of Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city}.
4. At 24:00, Israeli forces detained Wissam Sader {A resident of the old city of Jerusalem}.

Temporary Detention

At 04:30 on May 22nd 2018, Israeli forces temporarily detained Yusef Ahmad Abu Gharbiya {A resident of Abu Dis town} {in order to force his son to turn him self over to Israeli Forces} then released him at a later time during their raid Abu Dis town.

Attack

At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya military checkpoint fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and hurling Molotov's.

Assaults on Property

At 12:30, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city placed a steel fence around Al-Rahma Cemetery which is located next to Al-Aqsa mosque compound.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 11:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:50, Israeli forces set up 4 military checkpoints near Atarah town bridge, at the entrances of Al-Nabi Saleh, Kafr Ein villages and near "Halmish" settlement roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:35, Israeli forces raided Deir Ibzi' village until 15:00.
2. At 13:10, Israeli forces raided Ein Arik village.
3. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Rantis village and detained a resident.
4. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp.
5. At 04:45, Israeli forces raided Jamaleh village and detained a Palestinian Police Forces officer.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Mansour Hassan Abu Saleem in Rantis village.
2. Israeli forces detained Hamadah Abdel-Kareem Abdallah Daramat in Jamaleh village.

Closure of main Roads

At 08:15, Israeli forces closed the main road leading to Ras Kar Kar village and impeded the free flow of traffic {for alleged shooting incident towards a Israeli Settler's vehicle}.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:45, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 13:25.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jabrat junction located in south Tulkarem city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Quffin town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:20.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Nablus cities then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:15, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city until 16:00.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 00:15.

Detention

On the morning of May 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint detained Ahmad Jamal Mahmoud Radwan {A resident of Azzun town}{A University student} as he was heading to Palestine Technical University - Khadouri in Tulkarem city.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 21:55, Israeli forces raided Khirbeit Yanoun village, stormed and searched several Agricultural greenhouses then withdrew at 23:00.
2. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Al-Hatab village, stormed and searched the home of a Palestinian detainee then withdrew at 03:15.
3. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured a resident.

Attack

At 03:30, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Nablus city and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Issa Nathmi Mahmoud Al-Hashash {A resident of Balat camp in Nablus city} during clashes in Nablus city.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

At 11:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

On May 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Omar Ibrahim Izaldin {A resident of Arraba town in Jenin district} as he was returning from Jordan.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.

Raid

1. At 17:00, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village.
2. At 03:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town then stormed and searched a home.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Thahriya town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:05, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrances of Bani Na'im town and Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' town until 13:10.
2. At 17:40, Israeli forces raided Ithna town until 21:40.
3. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town then stormed and searched 6 homes.
4. At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Halhul town, clashed with several residents as they stormed a home and as a result left several resiednts suffocated from tear gas inhalation then detained a resident.
5. At 05:45, Israeli forces raided Dura town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Muhanad Ibrahim Al-Zama'ra in Hahul town.
2. Israeli forces detained Munthir Yusef Al-Sharwanah in Dura town.

Attack

At 02:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Huhul town and left Fida Subhi Al-Baba suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Settlers Attacks

On May 22nd 2018, A group of settlers in the Marjah area of ​​Halhul town, located near road {60}, which passes by the village, chopped off approximately 700 grape vines using chainsaw's and are owned by Maher Atta Hassan Karajah, his brother Isma'il (400 trees), Younis Ali Ahmed Abu Arish (100 trees) and Walid Abdul Razek Dahidel (200 trees).

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on April 11th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 9 nautical miles for a period of 3 months.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Central Gaza and Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.
• Israeli Military Jets broke the ceasefire agreement by launching missiles towards North Gaza and Gaza districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 21:00 on May 21st 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 03:00 on May 22nd 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Air Strike

At 03:50 on May 23rd 2018, Israeli Military Jets launched 6 missiles {in 2 consecutive air strikes} towards Palestinian Gunmen sites located in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Air Strike

At 02:50 May 23rd 2018, Israeli military Jets launched 3 missiles {in 2 consecutive strikes} towards 2 Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza sea port and as a result destroyed the boats.

Destruction of Property

At 02:50 on May 23rd 2018, 2 Palestinian fishing boats were destroyed after Israeli Military jets launched missiles towards them off the shores of Gaza Sea port.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 08:15 on May 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched tank artillery shells towards Palestinian gunmen sites in east Al-Buriej camp.
2. At 08:15 on May 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 10:15 on May 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khua'a town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents and for the entry of emergency humanitarian and medical supplies.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
