WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jaba' village to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.

Detention

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces positioned at Lions' Gate {Bab Al-Asbat gate} in the old city of Jerusalem detained Nihad Al-Zaghir.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces detained Khalid Shareef in the old city of Jerusalem.
3. On the evening of 22.05.2020, Israeli forces detained Mus'ab Imad Salah Obeida {a resident of Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city}.

Temporary Detention

At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned at Jib Military checkpoint temporarily detained Shadi Al-Matour {a resident of Jerusalem city} then released him after summoning him to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Attack

At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned near the North entrance of Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 07:10 on 22.05.2020, a group of Israeli settlers riding in 4 vehicles stormed Al-Tireh neighborhood in Ramallah city then withdrew at 07:45.
2. At 12:20, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Deir Ibzi' village then withdrew at 13:30.
3. At 22:40, a group of Israeli settlers from "Halmish" settlement stormed agricultural land in Deir Nitham village and assaulted 2 residents leaving them hospitalized with contusions.

Injuries

Israeli settlers assaulted and injured 2 residents: Qusay Thiyab Al-Tamimi and Ziyad Al-Tamimi in in Deir Nitham village.

JENIN

Attack

On 22.05.2020, Israeli forces positioned near the apartheid-separation wall located in Thahr Al-Abed village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents and as a result set fire to approximately 120 Olive tress after a tear gas canisters exploded on agricultural land in the area.

Destruction of Property

On 22.05.2020,Israeli forces set fire to approximately 120 Olive tress after a tear gas canisters exploded on agricultural land near agricultural land during clashes near the apartheid-separation wall located in Thahr Al-Abed village.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 13:30, Israeli forces tightened their restrictions at Tayasir checkpoint and impeded traffic.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:20,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 18:00,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Azzun town bridge {along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Nablus} to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
3. At 02:15,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city to search vehicles and verify citizens ’identities.

Attack

1. At 13:10,Israeli forces fired near the eastern entrance (closed) in the village of Kafr Qaddum, rubber-coated metal bullets and stun and tear gas canisters towards the demonstrators protesting the closure of the village entrance, on the pretext that they were throwing stones and as a result injured 5 residents {including 3 children} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation then withdrew at 15:10.
2. At 23:30,Israeli forces positioned at "Ayal" crossing point located in North Qalqiliya city fired rubber coated steel bullets,stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Surat village, temporarily detained 2 residents then released them at 22:20.
2. At 23:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitzhar" settlement junction located in North Huwara town to search cars and check the identities of citizens.

Temporary Detention

At 20:30, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located near Surat village junction temporarily detained 2 residents: Aref Marwan Ali and Harith Qassim {both are residents of Kafr Qaddum village} then released them at 22:20.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 12:40, a Israeli settler guarding "Brachat" settlement located in east Burin village temporarily detained Nader Dihishat Qaddus then released him at 14:00.
2. At 17:00, a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitzhar" settlement entered Al-Lahif area located between Assira Al-Qibliya and Orif villages then set fire to residential owned agricultural land.

At 19:15,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city to search cars and check the identities of citizens.

1. At 19:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the North entrance of Jericho city to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the South entrance of Jericho city to search cars and check the identities of citizens.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS
