JERUSALEM

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On May 2nd 2019,the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

JENIN

Raid

On May 2nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, stormed and searched 2 homes then detained a child.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Rabi' Allam Al-Narousi {16 years old} in Jenin city.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 10:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 19:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 21:20.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Immatin village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of east Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles until 19:00.

Raid

At 02:25, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 05:45.

Attack

At 02:25, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 10:45, Israeli forces closed Huwara military checkpoint then reopened it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement then searched residents and vehicles until 12:00.

Raid

1. At dawn on May 2nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Bazariya village and detained a resident.
2. At 10:45, Israeli forces raided Huwara town, stormed several merchant shops, confiscated surveillance camera footage {after an alleged stoning incident towards settler vehicles along the main road} then withdrew at 13:20.
3. At 13:20, Israeli forces raided Majdal Bani Fadil village, detained a resident then withdrew at 17:15.
4. At 19:20, Israeli forces raided Orif village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 21:40.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ashraf Mohammad Hussien in Bazariya village.
2. Israeli forces detained Hadi Ibrahim Ahmad Zieneldin in Majdal Bani Fadil village.

Attack

At 19:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Orif village.

Destruction of Property

On May 2nd 2019, Israeli forces destroyed a water-pipe line which pumps water from several water sources in Ein Shalbi area that farmers use for irrigation purposes.

Closure of main Roads

On the evening of May 2nd 2019, Israeli forces closed the bypass road which connects Huwara town and Burin village with cement blocks.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 00:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Zawiya town, detained a resident then withdrew at 02:00.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Jihad Mansour Safi Radad in Al-Zawiya town.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:50 and again at 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Jinata town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 19:35.
4. At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ush Al-Ghurab area located in east Beit Sahur city then searched residents and vehicles until 19:40.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 02:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 10:25 and again at 01:30, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained 4 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Tohma Sedqi Burqan {17 years old}, Ammar Kamal Abdel Salam Al Ajlouni, Nader Abdel Hafiz Abu Mayala, Mohammed Ahmed Al-Zaghir in Hebron city.

Attack

On the afternoon of May 2nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned near Hebron Boys Secondary school in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children for alleged stoning and as a result left several children suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Destruction of Property

On May 2nd 2019, Israeli forces demolished a live stock den owned by Khierallah Soliman Al-Hathalin and assaulted Soliman Al-Hathalin {75 years old} as he was attempting to prevent the demolition and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

Physical Assault

1. On the morning of May 2nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned at checkpoint {160} in the old city of Hebron assaulted Jihad Abu Fodah and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.
2. On May 2nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned in Khirbeit Um Al-Khier village located in east Yatta town assaulted Soliman Al-Hathalin {75 years old} as he was attempting to prevent the demolition and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on April 1st 2019 allowed the increase of fishing area from Al-Waha area which is located northwest o Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles , increase from the port of Gaza and to Wadi Gaza to 12 nautical miles, Gaza and up to Khan Yunis beach to 15 nautical miles, and from Khan Yunis beach and south of Rafah beach to 12 nautical miles and on April 30th 2019 reduced the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

At 08:00 on May 2nd 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects..
