JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 14:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Jaba' military checkpoint {located along the main road connecting Jerusalem, Ramallah and Jericho} and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1. At 08:25 and again at dawn on May 4th 2017, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis, clashed with several residents near Al-Quds University Roundabout and detained a resident after storming his home.
2. At 15:45, Israeli forces raided Hizma town and clashed with several residents.
3. At 17:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town and clashed with several residents after storming and searching several merchant shops.
4. On the morning of May 4th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village, demolished 2 merchant shops owned by Muti' Abu Raya and Mahmoud Abi Raya for allegedly being built with out a licence.

Attack

1. At 08:25, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Abu Dis town.
2. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Shu'fat checkpoint in Jerusalem city opened fire towards Wissam Nasser Jum'a Al-Dibis {A resident of Shu'fat} for allegedly attempting to stab a Israeli soldier then detained him.

Detention

Destruction of Property

On May 4th 2017, Israeli forces demolished 2 merchant shops owned by Muti' Abu Raya and Mahmoud Abi Raya during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village for allegedly being built with out a licence.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshiper.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20;50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Khirbithat Al-Misbah village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 22:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 02:55, Israeli forces raided Deir Jarir village until 03:20.
2. At dawn on May 4th 2017, Israeli forces raided Ramallah city, fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home near Ramallah Governmental Hospital and as a result left several medical patients {including a child} suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Attack

1. At 09:10, Israeli forces positioned near Atarah town bridge located in North Bir Ziet city fired stun and tear gas grenades toward several residents for alleged stoning.
2.On the afternoon of May 4th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at "Ofra" military base fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several journalists participating in demonstrations in solidarity with Palestinian Detainees and demanding their release from Israeli Prisons.
3. At dawn on May 4th 2017, Israeli forces opened fire, launched stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents near Ramallah Governmental Hospital as they stormed and searched a home near the hospital and as a result left several medical patients {including a child} suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Confiscation of Property

On May 3rd 2017, Israeli forces confiscated a agricultural tractor and a water tank truck owned by Ashraf Abu Dahilah as he was transporting water in the area.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 16:25 and again at 20:40, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 21:45

Raid

1. At 19:45, Israeli forces raided Shwikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city until 20:55.
2. At dawn on May 4th 2017, Israeli forces raided Bal'a town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahmad Araf Yusef Zariqi in Bala'a town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Azzun town bridge {Along the main road connecting Qalqilya and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 21:20, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town and clashed with several residents.
2. At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, stormed a vehicle spare parts shop owned by Baker Abu Haniya and confiscated its supplies then stormed a steel mill owned by Sufiyan Abdel-Latif Adwan and confiscated his equipment then withdrew at 05:10.

Attack

At 21:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Jayyous.

Confiscation of Property

At 01:35, Israeli forces confiscated supplies from a vehicle spare parts shop owned by Baker Abu Haniya and equipment from a steel mill owned by Sufiyan Abdel-Latif Adwan during their raid into Azzun town.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 14:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara checkpoint until 15:30.

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shave Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 09:45
2. At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Orif and Einbuis villages , temporarily detained 2 residents and released them at a later time then withdrew at 11:45.
3. At 14:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitshar" settlement junction located in North Huwara town then searched residents and vehicles until 15:30.

1. At 00:55, Israeli forces raided Huwara town, detained a resident then withdrew at 02:00.
2. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Einbuis village until 05:20.
3. At 03:55, Israeli forces raided Tel village , detained a University student then withdrew at 05:20.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Waleed Khalid Salah Nimer in Huwara town.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Mustafa Mohammad Ayoub Assayda {A University student} in Tel village.

Temporary Detention

At 09:15, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located in the area between Orif and Einbuis village temporarily detained 2 residents: Mohammad Yusef Shihadeh and Osama Amer Al-Safadi then released them at a later time.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 19:40, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za'tara junction checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 21:00.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 17:00.

Raid

At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Zabidat village, stormed and searched 4 homes, assaulted a residents and summoned Ahmad Mohammad Ahmad Zabidat to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 06:45.

Physical Assault

At 02:10, Israeli forces assaulted Ma'moun Hassan Ibrahim Zabidat during their raid into Al-Zabidat village.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 13:30.
2. At 13:05, Israeli force set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jallah city then searched residents and vehicles until 14:10.
3. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 18:00.
4. At 20:50, Israel forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles until 22;20.

Raid

1. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town , stormed several homes and detained a resident.
2. On the morning of May 4th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Walja village, demolished 3 homes {including 2 under construction} owned by Ibrahim Nuriej {A home consisting of 2 floors approximately 400 square Meters}, Hamad Abu Sineneh {A home under construction approximately 150 square Meters} and Raed Abu Sineneh {A home under construction approximately 150 square Meters.
3. At dawn on May 4th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Doha town and Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Abed Atiyeh Ta'amra in Teqou' town.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Naseem Zaqout {A resident of Al-Duhusheh camp} and Ahmad Khalil Nabhan {A resident of Al-Doha }

House Demolition

On the morning of May 4th 2017, Israeli forces demolished 3 homes {including 2 under construction} owned by Ibrahim Nuriej {A home consisting of 2 floors approximately 400 square Meters}, Hamad Abu Sineneh {A home under construction approximately 150 square Meters} and Raed Abu Sineneh {A home under construction approximately 150 square Meters} during their raid into Al-Walja village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Farsh Al-Hawa area located in North Hebron city {located along bypass road 35 } and detained a resident.
3. At 09:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Samou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 09:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 09:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Beit Einub village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces raided Ithna town, stormed 2 homes and summoned Al-Mu'taz-Billah Jibril Al-Jiyawi to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched 2 homes then withdrew at 04:00.
3. At dawn on May 4th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained 2 residents.
4. At dawn on May 4th 2017, Israeli forces raided Ruq'a area located in Yatta town, stormed and searched a home, detained a resident then stormed and searched a steel mill owned by Mahmoud Al-Zien and confiscated his equipment.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance of North Hebron city {located along bypass road 35} detained Salim Issa Ibrahim Al-Sayout {A resident of Hebron city}.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Jamal Abu Mariya and Hussien Ramzi Al-Alamiya in Biet Ummar town.
3. Israeli forces detained Khalil Hamad Al-Zien in Ruq'a area in Yatta town.

Attack

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arub camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents.
2. At 11:40, Israeli forces positioned in Bab Al-Zawiya area located in Hebron city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 4 residents {including a resident who was assaulted by Israeli forces}.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:10, A Israeli settler vehicle travelling along Zif village jucntion ran over the child Layth Yusef Mahmoud Shatat {6 years old} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Izz-Aldin Ahmad Abu Sal and Yahya Mohammad Al-Hur during clashes in Al-Arub camp.
2. Israeli forces injured 4 residents: Abdel-Kareem Mahmoud Abdel-Kareem Muhisien, Mohammad Abdel-Rahman Abu Ammar, Jihad Suliman Ubido and Mohammad Jallal Faysal during clashes Bab Al-Zawiya area located in Hebron city.
3. The child Layth Yusef Mahmoud Shatat {6 years old} was hospitalized after a Israeli settler vehicle travelling along Zif village junction ran him over.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on May 4th 2017, Israeli forces confiscated equipment from a steel mill owned by Mahmoud Al-Zien during their raid into Yatta town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli Military increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza area until the south border of the Gaza strip and the remaining area from Wadi Gaza until the North border of the Gaza Strip remained 6 Nautical miles. .
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding and opening fire towards North Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

On the Morning of May 3rd 2017, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 100m into east Beit Hanoun town and levelled a plot of land.

Detention

At 17:00 on May 3rd 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Hanoun-Erez Crossing point detained Ni'meh Abdel-Qadder Mahmoud Al-Juwari as she was attempting to enter the Gaza strip after returning from a hospital in Jerusalem where she was receiving treatment.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Raid

At 06;30 on May 3rd 2017, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 100m into the vicinity of east Al-Fakhari town then opened fire as they levelled a plot of land.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects
