WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At dawn on May 3rd 2019, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ali Ibrahim al-Abbasi, Nur Omar al-Abbasi, and Ahmed Omar Abbasi in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. At 06:00 on May 3rd 2019, Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Yousef Mahmoud Yousef, Musa Salem Abu Ali, Kifah Rabhi Siam and Bashar Munir Abu Awad in Mukhmas village.

Attack

At 19:55, Israeli forces positioned in Abu Dis town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents during clashes in Abu Dis town.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On May 3rd 2019,the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

1. At 13:50, Israeli forces positioned in Nil'in village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {participating in demonstrations against the construction of the wall} for alleged stoning.
2. اAt 13:50, Israeli forces positioned in Beit Sira village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several protesters who were demanding the release of corpses of residents killed by Israeli Forces and as a result injured a journalist.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Sari Jaradat {a journalist} after firing fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several protesters who were demanding the release of corpses of residents killed by Israeli Forces during demonstrations in Beit Sira village.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ya'bad town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:00.

Raid

1. At dawn on May 3rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Rumana village and detained a resident.
2. At 06:45, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, occupied the rooftop of a building and converted it into a military post then withdrew at 07:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Fareed Hamdan Al-Qalq in Rumana village.

House Occupation

At 06:45, Israeli forces occupied the rooftop of a building and converted it into a military post near the south entrance of Jenin city then withdrew at 07:30.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 15:15, Israeli forces raided Azzun town until 15:45.

Attack

At 13:30,Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result injured 7 residents {including a child} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 7 residents {of those identified are}: Ahmad Bashar Shteiwi {16 years old}, Murad Shteiwi, and Bashar Shteiwi {50 years old} during clashes near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} .

Settlers Attacks

At 19:50, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Kafr Laqif village and assaulted Abdel-Ghaffar Ahmad Radwan {a resident of Azzun town} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

On the evening of May 3rd 2019, Israeli forces closed Huwara military checkpoint then reopened it at a later time.

Raid

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Assira Al-Qibliya village, clashed with several residents then detained 2 residents {including a child}.
2. At 18:15, Israeli forces raided Huwara town and forced shop owners to close down their businesses.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Abd al-Jabbar Fakhri Yassin {16 years old}, and Mahmoud Sabri Zaban in Assira Al-Qibliya village.

Attack

At 14:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Assira Al-Qibliya village.

Settlers Attacks

1. At dawn on May 3rd 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Huwara town and slashed the tires of 11 vehicles then spray painted anti arab and racist slogans on the vehicles and the walls surrounding a local cemetery.
2. At 18:40, a group of Israeli settlers positioned along the main road located near Huwara town stoned vehicles travelling along the road and as a result smashed the windshields of 2 vehicles owned by Nash'at Osama Subhi Bani Minyat and Sa'id Abdel-Latif Damedi then withdrew at 19:30.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-Mu'arajat road {which connects Jericho and Ramallah district} then searched residents and vehicles until 21:10.
2. At 07:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.
2. At 13:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 17:20.
3. At 14:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Jinata town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 17:20.
4. At 20:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:00.

Raid

At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Shadi Hussien Ali Salah in Al-Khader town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bi'r Al-Mahjar area located in Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.

Attack

At 18:50, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on April 1st 2019 allowed the increase of fishing area from Al-Waha area which is located northwest o Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles , increase from the port of Gaza and to Wadi Gaza to 12 nautical miles, Gaza and up to Khan Yunis beach to 15 nautical miles, and from Khan Yunis beach and south of Rafah beach to 12 nautical miles and on April 30th 2019 reduced the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by launching tank artillery shells and opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result killed 1 residents injured 40 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah districts.
• Israeli Air force broke the ceasefire agreement by launching 3 missiles {in 2 consecutive air strikes} towards Palestinian gunmen sites in Central Gaza district and as a result killed 3 residents {including 2 Palestinian gunmen} and injured 11 others {including 2 Palestinian Gunmen in critical condition} .

•Palestinian gunmen broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards the border fence in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result injured 2 Israeli soldiers.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 16:00 on May 3rd 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured 11 residents in all Gaza strip districts and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 11 unidentified residents during clashes in east Jabaliya town.

Detention

At 15:45 on May 3rd 2019, Israeli forces detained a unidentified resident in North Beit Lahiya town as he was attempting to climb the border fence into Israel.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 16:00 on May 3rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result injured 13 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 13 unidentified residents during clashes in east Gaza city.

Detention

At 15:40 on May 3rd 2019, Israeli forces detained a unidentified resident in east Gaza city as he was attempting to climb the border fence into Israel.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 16:00 on May 3rd 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Al- Buriej camp during the march of return and as a result killed a resident and injured 9 residents in all Gaza strip districts and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 18:45 on May 3rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired 3 tank artillery shells towards agricultural land in east Al-Buriej camp.

Air Strike

1. At 18:55 on May 3rd 2019,Israeli military aircraft's launched missiles towards Palestinian gunmen sites in east Al-Buriej camp.
2. At 19:20, Israeli military aircraft's launched 2 missiles towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in west Al-Maghazi camp and as a result killed 2 Palestinian gunmen and critically injured 2 others.

Killings

1. Israeli forces killed Ramzi Rawhi Hassan Abddo {31 years old} after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp.
2. Israeli air strikes towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in west Al-Maghazi camp killed Abd Allah Ibrahim Mahmoud Abu Mloh {33 years old} {a resident of Nusseirat camp}, and 'Alla' Ali Hassan al-Bubli {29 years old}{a resident of al-Maghazi camp}.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 9 unidentified residents during clashes in east east Al-Buriej camp.
2. Israeli airstrikes critically injured 2 unidentified Palestinian Gunmen in west Al-Maghazi camp.

Palestinian Attacks

At 18:30 on May 3rd 2019,Palestinian Gunmen in east Al-Buriej camp opened fire towards Israeli forces positioned near the border fence and as a result injured 2 Israeli soldiers.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 16:00 on May 3rd 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed a resident and injured 10 residents in all Gaza strip districts and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Killings

Israeli forces killed Raed Khalil Mahmoud Abu Teir {19 years old} during clashes in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 10 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

At 16:30 on May 3rd 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 6 residents in all Gaza strip districts and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 21:50 on May 3rd 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
