WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Jaba' and Mukhmas then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 18:30, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Al-Shawish {A resident of the old city of Jerusalem}.

Settlers Attacks

At 18:30, a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Bab Hata Gate {one of the main gate entrances leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound} in the old city of Jerusalem assaulted Tariq Al-Tamimi and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beitin village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Silwad town, clashed with several residents as they stormed a home and summoned Mohammad Abdel-Nasser Hamad to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

At 10:50, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Nasser Ahmed Issa Dar Khalil and Yousef Mohammed Ghafri {both are residents of Deir Ijrier village}.

Attack

1. At 15:30, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a paramedic and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 03:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed a home during their raid into Silwad town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Mohammad Jaber {A Paramedic} during clashes near the North entrance of Al-Bireh city.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Arrana, Deir Ghazala, Arrubuna and Faqu'a villages.
2. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Bruqin , Al-Yamoun and Al-Silah Al-Harthiya towns and Ti'inik , Al-Manshiya and Kafrit villages then detained a resident in Al-Yamoun town.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Yazan Ibrahim Mohammad Abu Eid in Al-Yamoun town.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 21:40, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions and Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Confiscation of Property

On May 4th 2018, Israeli forces confiscated a Drilling rig in Khirbiet Al-Dier area in the North Jordan valley.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 09:10, Israeli forces raided Ramin village until 09:50.
2. At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Bal'a town and Kafr Raman village until 09:50.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib villages then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

At 23:15, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

Attack

At 13:20, Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they were protesting the continued closure of the village entrance and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Abdullah Anwar Juma during clashes near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military}.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitsahar" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Burqa village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on May 5th 2018, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and clashed with several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed several homes.

Attack

At dawn on May 5th 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they storm and searched several homes during their raid into Nablus city.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 13:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town.
2. On May 4th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Waljat village, served a military order to halt construction on a home owned by Issa Al-Tarsh and demolished a concrete fence surrounding agricultural land.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Sa'ir and Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 23:45, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
2. At 23:50, Israeli forces raided Halhul town.
3. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Yatta town.

Attack

At 13:30, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Zawiya area located in Hebron city fired stun and tear gas canister towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

On May 4th 2018, Israeli settlers from "Migon" settlement located in east Yatta town set fire to wheat crops on approximately 20 dunums {acres} of agricultural land owned by Al-Dababsah family.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on April 11th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 9 nautical miles for a period of 3 months.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opened fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza , Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured 121 residents {including 3 critically injured} and left 1022 residents {including a paramedic and 3 journalists} suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 13:30 on May 4th 2018,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day}located in east Al-Jabaliya town and as a result injured 18 residents and left 140 residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 18 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Jabaliya town.

Detention

At 12:15 on May 4th 2018, Israeli forces detained a unidentified residents as he attempted to climb the border fence from North Beit Lahiya into Israel.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 11:00 on May 4th 2018, ,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day} located in east Gaza city and as a result injured 38 residents and left 410 residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 38 unidentified residents during clashes in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 13:30 on May 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day} located in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result injured 15 residents and left 82 residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 15 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

Detention

At 20:00 on May 4th 2018, Israeli forces detained 3 unidentified residents as they attempted to climb the border fence from east Al-Buriej camp into Israel.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 11:00 on May 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards demonstrators {commemorating the 42nd anniversary of Land Day} in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city and as a result injured 30 residents and left 264 residents [including a paramedic and 3 journalists} suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 30 unidentified residents during clashes in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Attack

At 13:30 on May 4th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators {commemorating the Right of Return } located in easst Rafah city and as a result injured 20 residents and left 126 residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 20 unidentified resident during clashes in east Rafah city.
