WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At dawn on May 5th 2019, Israeli forces raided Hizma town, stormed and searched several homes and detained 8 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 8 residents: Mahmud Sanad Salah, Ra'fat Talal Jouda, Mus'ab 'Abd al-Rahman Dar Hussein, Ammar Abd Rabbo Askar, Mohammad Thaer Abu Khalil, Ouda Salam Sabeeh, Abdel Nafez Salaheddine and Islam Marwan Zaher in Hizma town.

Deportation

On May 4th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued a home detention sentence for Anas Burqan and banning him from entering Wadi Yasul area located in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city and fined him 1000 NIS as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

On May 4th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the old city of Jerusalem and broke the lock for the main entrance of Al-Shikh Maki mosque.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On May 4th 2019,the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians for 24 hours daily except for Saturdays during which the checkpoint will be open from 22:00 until 10:00 on Sunday.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Silwad town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp then searched residents and vehicles until 00:40.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

On the evening of May 4th 2019, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints along the main road connecting Jenin and Haifa and the main road in Bruqin town leading to Al-Hashimiya and Kafr Qud villages then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 06:45 on May 4th 2019, Israeli forces detained Tariq Atallah Sabah during their raid into Jenin city.

Physical Assault

At 21:40, Israeli forces positioned at "Movo Dotan" military checkpoint assaulted and sprayed pepper onto the face of Diya Eyad Kubha {a resident of Barta'a Al-Sharqiya village} and as a result left him suffocating for allegedly taking photos of Israeli forces as he passed through the checkpoint.

TUBAS

Raid

At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Ein Al-Bayda village located in the North Jordan valley and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Bassam Turki Salah Foqaha in Ein Al-Bayda village located in the North Jordan valley.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and Tulkarem camp and detained a resident in Tulkarem camp.

At 20:30, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 22:30.

At 20:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Azzun town.

At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement then searched residents and vehicles until 22:00.

1. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Beita town, stormed and searched a home and summoned Ali Hisham Ali Dwikat to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. At 02:35, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 06:40.
3. At 03:35, Israeli forces raided Assira Al-Shamaliya town, stormed and searched 2 homes and detained a resident {a Dentist}.
4. At dawn on May 5th 2019, Israeli forces raided Orif village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ibrahim Dweikat, Moussa Mohammed Dweikat, and his brother Hamdi
in Nablus city.
2. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Wahab Taher Al-Shilawi {a dentist} in Assira Al-Shamaliya town.
3. Israeli forces detained Rizqallah Fihmi Al-Safadi in Orif village.

Settlers Attacks

At 16:15, Israeli forces raided Einbuis village, assaulted several residents then withdrew under the protection of the Israeli Military.

At 13:25 and again at 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 22:50.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 22:10.

Raid

1. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on May 5th 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, stormed and searched several homes and summoned Ameer Mohammad Yusef Abdel-Fattah Awad to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

1. At 21:45, Israeli forces positioned at Military checkpoint {160} located in the old city of Hebron detained Tarik Raed Abu Irmeleh.
2. Israeli forces detained Yahya Yusef Al-Tal in Al-Thahriya town.

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on April 1st 2019 allowed the increase of fishing area from Al-Waha area which is located northwest o Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles , increase from the port of Gaza and to Wadi Gaza to 12 nautical miles, Gaza and up to Khan Yunis beach to 15 nautical miles, and from Khan Yunis.

• Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire by firing a number of artillery shells from their positions on the Green Line in the northern Gaza Strip, Gaza, Central, Khan Yunis and Rafah governorates, and firing shells and shells at the beaches of the northern, central and Khan Yunis governorates. (In 124 consecutive raids), targeting sites belonging to Palestinian armed groups, open lands, houses, buildings and workshops in the northern Gaza, Gaza, Central, Khan Yunis and Rafah governorates, which resulted in the deaths of 6 citizens (including a pregnant woman and her infant) destroyed 3 Buildings, 3 blacksmith workshops, and 3 media offices.

1.At 11:10 and 19:40 on May 4th 2019,The Israeli forces fired four artillery shells towards Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya towns and as resulting in the death of a civilian and the wounding of 2 civilians east of Beit Hanoun.
2. On May 4th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire and launched artillery shells towards the shores of Beit Lahiya town.

Air Strike

Between 09:50 and 04:45 on May 4th 2019 2019 and 06:45 hours today 05. 2019 Israeli warplanes bombarded 39 rockets (in 28 consecutive raids), targeting positions and vehicles belonging to Palestinian armed groups, houses and open land in the vicinity of the towns of Beit Hanoun Beit Lahia and Jabalia, resulting in the death of a Palestinian north-west of the town of Beit Lahia, 14 Palestinians were injured and a house was demolished east of Jabaliya.

Killings

1. Israeli tank shelling towards east Beit Hanun town killed Imad Mohammed Nusair {22 years old}.

2. Israeli airstrikes towards North west Beit Lahiya town killed Mohammed Hilmi Abu Qalik, 25 years old.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

On May 4th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched 6 tank artillery shells towards Palestinian Gunmen sites in east Gaza city.

During the hours between 12:30 on May 4th 2019 and 06:25 on May 5th 2019, Israeli Military aircraft's launched 69 missiles {during 37 consecutive airstrikes} towards Palestinian Gunmen sites, Buildings and opened area's in east Gaza city and as a result killed 2 residents {including a pregnant woman and her child} , injured 16 residents, destroyed a home and 3 Buildings, 3 blacksmith workshops, and 3 media offices.

Israeli airstrikes towards east Gaza city killed the infant Saba Mahmoud Hamdan Abu Arar (14 months old) and Falastine Saleh Abu Arar (37 years old pregnant woman).

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. On May 5th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched 5 tank artillery shells towards Palestinian gunmen sites in east Al-Buriej camp and Deir Al-Balah city.
2. On May 4th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire and launched artillery shells towards the shores of Deir Al-Balah city.

Air Strike

During the hours between 13:00 on May 4th 2019 and 06:05 on May 5th 2019, Israeli military aircraft's launched 31 missiles {in 17 consecutive strikes} towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in Central Gaza district and as a result killed 2 Palestinian Gunmen and injured 2 others in east Al-Buriej camp.

Killings

Israeli air strikes towards east Al-Buriej camp killed Mahmoud Subhi Issa {26 years old} and Fawzi Abdel-Hamid Bidawi {24 years old}.
