WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Ram town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 12:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town and Al-Sawahra Al-Sharqiya village.

Detention

1. At 20:30, Israeli forces detained Alaa Nabata {A resident of Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city}.
2. On the morning of May 6th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Shu'fat Military checkpoint in Jerusalem city detained Ameer Alqam.

Attack

At 13:10, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya military checkpoint fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations in solidarity with Palestinian detainees who are on hunger strike.

Closure of main Roads

At 13:30, Israeli forces closed the steel gate located at the entrance of Hizma town and impeded the free flow of traffic.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 15:40.

Raid

1. At 14:40, Israeli forces raided Silwad town, clashed with several residents and detained a resident.
2. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village until 03:10.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Abdel-Hamid Abdallah Hussein Hamad in Silwad town.

Demonstrations

1. At 13:15, a demonstration took place in Al-Nabi Saleh village protesting against the construction settlements during which Israeli forces clashed with demonstrators as they were attempting to reach the demonstration site and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 13:15, a demonstration took place in Bilin village protesting against the construction of the wall, temporarily detained 2 residents and Basil Mansour then released them at 16:00.
3. At 13:15, a demonstration took place Ni'lin town protesting against the construction of the wall then clashes erupted between protesters and Israeli forces and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation and temporarily detained a International Peace Activist.

Attack

1. At 13:15, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators in Al-Nabi Saleh village during demonstrations protesting in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners who are currently on hunger strike. and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 13:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents during demonstrations in Ni'lin town.
3. At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned near "Ofar" military base fired rubber coated steel bullet stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during demonstrations protesting in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners who are currently on hunger strike.
4. At 14:40, Israeli forces positioned near Silwad town town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
5. At 17:15, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Mughayir village fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
6. At 19:10, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Kafr Malik village fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 5 residents: Alaa Mohammad Al-Barghouthi, Ahmad Yunis Mohammad , Mo'ayad Khalid Al-Barghouthi, Annan Mohammad Al-Barghouthi and Ahmad Nasif during demonstrations in Al-Nabi Saleh village protesting against the construction settlements.

Temporary Detention

At 13:15, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents: Ahmad Abu Rahma and Bassil Mansour as they were participating in demonstrations in Bil'in village then released them at 16:00.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:45, Israeli settlers positioned near Rawabi city roundabout and closed the road thus impeding the free flow of traffic.

Closure of main Roads

At 17:30, Israeli forces closed the east entrance of Al-Mughier village with dirt mounds.

At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the bypass road near Al-Zababda town then searched residents and vehicles.

Military Checkpoints

At 17:45, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

At 15:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Attil then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:25, Israeli forces raided Far'oun village until 10:45.
2. At 15:05, Israeli forces raided Attil town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinsafut village , temporarily detained Issam Bassam Mansour {A resident of Deir Istiya town in Salfit district} then released him at 23:50.

Demonstrations

At 13:30, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum village against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site and as a result injured 2 residents including a child and a Journalist: Subhi Mansour Obied {17 years old} and Nidal Ishtaya {A journalist}.

1. At 12:25, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate in west Jayyous town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents participating in demonstrations in solidarity with Palestinian detainees {who are currently on hunger strike}.
2. At 13:30, Israeli forces positioned in Kafr Qaddum village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they participated in demonstrations against the closure of the village east entrance and as a result injured 2 residents including a child and a journalist.
3.At 16:55, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Azzun town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sarah village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Qalqilya} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Furiq town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 19:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Al-Hatab village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 20:30.
2. At 23:35, Israeli forces raided Burin village until 00:55.

At 00:50, Israeli forces positioned along the bypass road in Azzmout village detained Mu'taz Riziq Hussien {A resident of Azzmout village}.

Attack

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned near Beita town, fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents participating in demonstrations protesting in solidarity with Palestinian detainees who are currently on Hunger strike} and as a result left 4 residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Deir Al-Hatab village.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents during clashes in Beita town.

At 22:35, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town, stormed 2 homes then withdrew at 03:00.

Detention

At 18:20, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at Za'tara junction detained Mansour Faraj Mansour {A resident of Nablus city} for allegedly finding a knife in his vehicle.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

At 07:40 on May 5th 2017, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Hamra checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 09:30.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 15:45.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasnah area located near the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 10:35.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Walja village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:00.

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town and Khirbit Al-Dier village until 14:20.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces raided Husan village.

At 23:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Tabaqa village then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 13:35, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Beit Ummar town fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they participated in demonstration {in solidarity with Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons who are on hunger strike} and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 14:55, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Zawiya area located in Hebron city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they participated in demonstration {in solidarity with Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons who are on hunger strike}.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified residents during clashes near the entrance of Beit Ummar town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south boarder of the Gaza strip.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
