WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

At 24:00 on May 6th 2019 The Israeli occupation forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of "the anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel" and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for diplomatic and international missions, After prior coordination, until 24:00 on May 9th 2019.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bir Nabala town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 22:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and clashed with several residents.

Attack

At 22:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

Settlers Attacks

At 22:45, a group of Israeli settlers in Jerusalem city assaulted Ahmad Fawaz Awayis {a resident of Al-Thori neighborhood in Jerusalem city} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On May 6 2019,the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians from 10:00 until 22:00 daily during which the checkpoint will be open from 07:00 until 22:00 for those entering Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities.

Raid

1. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ni'ma village until 01:50.
2. At 05:20, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village until 07:15.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 09:40, Israeli forces raided Bi'r Al-Basha and Sanur villages.
2. At 14:40, Israeli forces raided Silat Al-Thair town and Al-Fanduqumiya village.

Detention

At 23:30, Israeli forces positioned at a military checkpoint detained Saleem Ahmad Walad Ali {a resident of Sanur village} as he was travelling to Ramallah city.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 21:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of east Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Settlers Attacks

At 11:45, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land located in the east area of Madma village and leveled a plot of land in order to pave a road leading to Al-Sha'ra area {which contains natural water springs}.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At dawn on May 7th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Zawiya town bridge and detained 5 residents.

Raid

At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Zawiya town then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Al-Zawiya town bridge detained 5 residents: Louay Anwar Meshaal Hussein, Mohamed Munir Meshaal, Uday Samir Hassan Salim, Ja'far Abdel Karim Talal Salim and Mohammed Nidal Hussein (all of whom are residents of Azzun town in Qalqilya district).

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town until 03:00.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp and detained a resident.

Raid

At 04:40, Israeli forces raided Yatta town until 07:10.

Detention

1. At 17:35, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ibrahim Mosque compound in the old city of Hebron detained Majed Hisham Muta'aeb.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp detained Ala Mohammad Hisham Al-Teti.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on April 1st 2019 allowed the increase of fishing area from Al-Waha area which is located northwest o Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles , increase from the port of Gaza and to Wadi Gaza to 12 nautical miles, Gaza and up to Khan Yunis beach to 15 nautical miles, and from Khan Yunis beach and south of Rafah beach to 12 nautical miles and on April 30th 2019 reduced the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles.
• On 05. 05. 2019 The Israeli occupation forces closed the fishing area off the coast of the Gaza Strip until further notice.

the bodies of two of the martyrs (a resident and his wife) were recovered from the bombing of the Sheikh Zayed Towers in the town of Beit Lahiya. Their 2 children were killed during the same Israeli Missile strike: Abdel-Rahman Talal Abu Al-Jidan {12 years old}{as mentioned in the previous report}. .

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Killings

At 12:00 on May 6th 2019, the bodies of residents {a man and his wife} were recovered after Israeli airstrikes towards Al-Shiekh Zayed Towers in Beit Lahiya town: Talal Attiya Abu Al-Hadadin {46 years old} and his wife Raghda Mohammad Abu Al-Hadadin.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed .
