WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

Since 24:00 on May 6th 2019 The Israeli occupation forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of "the anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel" and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, except for diplomatic and international missions, After prior coordination, until 24:00 on May 9th 2019.

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 04:40 on May 7th 2019, Israeli forces raided Qalandiya camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched a home then detained a resident.

Detention

1. At dawn on May 7th 2019, Israeli forces detained Haya Ahmad Suliman after storming her home in Beit Safafa village.
2. On the afternoon of May 7th 2019, Israeli forces detained Ali Sufiyan Obeid {a resident of Al-Eisawiya village}.
3. Israeli forces detained Ali Fawzi Abdel-Rahman in Qalandiya camp.

Attack

At 04:40 on May 7th 2019, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Qalandiya camp.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

Since May 6 2019,the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians from 10:00 until 22:00 daily during which the checkpoint will be open from 07:00 until 22:00 for those entering Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities.

Raid

1. At 11:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Zaytoun neighborhood locate near Al-Jalazoun camp.
2. At 17:15, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Bir Al-Basha village.
2. At 13:10, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town and Talfit village.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 12:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Baqa Al-Sharqiya, Zieta and Attil towns and Al-Nazla Al-Gharbiya, Nazlat Abu Al-Nar and Khirbiet Jabrat villages.

QALQILIYA

Attack

At 22:50, Israeli forces positioned near "Ayal" Crossing point located along the Green Line in North Qalqiliya city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sara village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Qalqiliya} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 00:25, Israeli forces raided Osarin village and clashed with several residents.

Attack

At 00:25,Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Osarin village.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jinata town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Jalla city until 02:45.
2. At 05:50, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem and Beit Sahour cities and Harmalat village until 06:50.

Detention

At 12:30, Israeli forces positioned near "Betar Aliyat" settlement detained the child: Musa Ahmad Mahmoud Najajrat {16 years old}{a resident of Nihalin town}.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 00:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp and detained a child.

Detention

1. At 04:40 on May 7th 2019, Israeli forces detained Al-Bara Hassan Harinat during their raid into Yatta town.
2. At 23:50, Israeli forces detained Baha Thabet Mahmoud Al-Najjar {a resident of Yatta town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
3. Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp detained Zakariya Fa'iq Nassar {15 years old}.

Temporary Detention

1. At 12:50, Israeli forces positioned at Military checkpoint {160} located in the old city of Hebron temporarily detained the child Mustafa Raed Al-Muhtasib {14 years old} then released him at a later time.
2. At 13:30, Israeli forces temporarily detained the child Wissam Abdel-Raziq Al-Salayma {15 years old} then released him at a later time.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip and on April 1st 2019 allowed the increase of fishing area from Al-Waha area which is located northwest o Beit Lahiya town in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles , increase from the port of Gaza and to Wadi Gaza to 12 nautical miles, Gaza and up to Khan Yunis beach to 15 nautical miles, and from Khan Yunis beach and south of Rafah beach to 12 nautical miles and on April 30th 2019 reduced the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles.

•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza district and as a result injured a child.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 08:00 on May 7th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 10:00 on May 7th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents in east Beit Hanun town and injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified resident during clashes in east Beit Hanun town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is partially open for the entry and exit of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
