WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 23:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 7 residents.

Detention

1. At dawn on May 8th 2018, Israeli forces detained Basil Yusef Mohammad Zahran {A resident of Qalandiya camp}.
2. Israeli forces detained 7 residents: Anas Ali Derbas, Mohamed Zakaria Olayan, Saleh Abu Assab, Qusay Saleh Dari, Mohamed Thaer Mahmoud, Ahmed Saad Mustafa, Ali Amjad Attia in Al-Eisawiya village.

Destruction of Property

1. At 10:10, Israeli forces demolished a vehicle repair shop owned by Hassan Khalil in Al-Eisawiya village for allegedly being built with out a licence.
2. At 11:30, Israeli forces demolished the foundations {for a building} in Abu Dis town for allegedly being built with out a licence.

Closure of main Roads

At 22:30, Israeli forces closed all the entrances leading to Al-Eisawiya village thus preventing residents from entering or exiting the village for the alleged throwing of a Molotov cocktail fire bomb towards a Israel settler vehicle.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

At 10:50, Israeli forces closed "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint near "Bet El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city and impeded the free flow of traffic until 11:00.

Raid

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Atarah town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 09:45.
2. At 10:00, Israeli forces raided Rantis village,stormed a home {under construction} then withdrew at 12:10.
3. At 12:25, Israeli forces raided Kafr Malik village and detained 5 residents.
4. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Beit Ur Al-Tahta then stormed and searched several homes.
5. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city and clashed with several residents.
6. At 05:00, Israeli forces raided Khirbithat Al-Misbah village until 05:15.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Asid Jafar Abbas Hamail {17 years old}, Basil Ahmed Yassin Bairat {17 years old}, Ihab Abbas Bairat {17 years old}, Rashid Rashid Hassan Hamail {17 years old}, Khader Farouk Abdel Fattah Mubarak {17 years old} in Kafr Malik village.

Temporary Detention

At 23:40, Israeli forces temporarily detained Omar Alaa Atef Hamdan {12 years old} {A resident of Dura Al-Qara' village} then released him at a later time.

Attack

At 09:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Atarah town.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 12:25, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

At 20:55, Israeli forces raided Ein Al-Bayda village, stormed and searched several homes and merchant shops, detained a resident and assaulted Nawrus Akram Fuqaha then confiscated surveillance camera footage from the homes of Azzam Amin Al-Fuqaha and Saleh Mahmoud Fuqaha then withdrew at 22:55.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mo'ayad Sayil Mohammad Fuqaha in Ein Al-Bayda village.

Physical Assault

At 20:55, Israeli forces assaulted Nawrus Akram Fuqaha after storming his merchant shop during their raid into Ein Al-Bayda village.

Assaults on Property

At 06:00 on May 5th 2018, the Israeli military forced 5 families out of their home in Khirbeit Humsat area located in the North Jordan valley region from 06:00 until 14:00 on May 5th 2018 for alleged military training in the area {which was based on a prior military order given to local residents}.

Confiscation of Property

At 20:55, Israeli forces confiscated surveillance camera footage from the homes of Azzam Amin Al-Fuqaha and Saleh Mahmoud Fuqaha during their raid into Ein Al-Bayda village.

Settlers Attacks

At 08:45, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Khilat Hamad area in the North Jordan valley,kicked out several Sheppard's who were herding their goats in the area and assaulted Badran Rafa' Fuqaha using a attack dog then withdrew at 10:30.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Jabarat village then searched residents and vehicles.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Jayyous town and Kafr Al-Jamal village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town and detained a resident.
4. At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izzbit Al-Tabib then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 04:20.
2. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:25.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town detained Abdel-Qadder Salah Assad Adwan.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Thaer Khaled Sabri Badwan and Muhannad Farouk Abu Haneya in Azzun town.

At 15:00, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Jayyous town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Burin village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 21:15
2. At 20:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Yitshar" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 21:15.

Raid

1. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Burin village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 05:00.
2. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Assira Al-Shamaliya town, stormed several homes, detained 4 residents and confiscated sums of cash from the home of Adham Ahamd Al-Shouli.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Badr al-Din Ahmad Hammadneh, Omar Dirar Ahmed Hammadneh, Mohammed Omar Mohammed Shuli, and Bara Essam Yasin Jarrara in Asira Al-Shamaliya town.

Attack

At 01:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents during their raid into Burin village.

Confiscation of Property

At 01:20, Israeli forces confiscated sums of cash from the home of Adham Tahsin Ahmad Al-Shouli during their raid into Assira Al-Shamaliya town.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 20:50, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Burin and Madma villages with cement blocks and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ali Maher al-Qadi and Mohamed Mofid Zidan in Deir Istiya town.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Irtas village then searched residents and vehicles until 19:20.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp and impeded the free flow of traffic after closing the main steel gate entrance then reopened it at a later time.
2. At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zif village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 02:15.
2. At dawn on May 9th 2018, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched several homes and confiscated 20000 NIS from the homes of Ahmad Rashid Abu Ramouz and Abdel-Kareem Rashid Abu Ramouz.
3. At dawn on May 9th 2018, Israeli forces raided Yatta town then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

At 12:05, Israeli forces detained Uday Abdel-Qadder Ramadan {16 years old}{A residents of Al-Fuwar camp} at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp.

Attack

At 19:30, Israeli forces positioned in Harat Abu Sineneh neighborhood in the old city of Hebron fired stoning and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on May 9th 2018, Israeli forces confiscated 20000 NIS from the homes of Ahmad Rashid Abu Ramouz and Abdel-Kareem Rashid Abu Ramouz during their raid into Hebron city..

Settlers Attacks

On May 8th 2018, Israeli settlers from "Kafr Itsiyon" settlement pumped sewage waste from the settlement onto agricultural land located in Wadi Shikhib area in Beit Ummar town and as a result destroyed agricultural crops and grape vineyards owned by Sabarnah family.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on April 11th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 9 nautical miles for a period of 3 months.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opened fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza , Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as result injured 2 residents.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 14:00 on May 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in North Beit Lahiya town and as a result injured a residents.
2. At 15:00 on May 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Al-Jabaliya town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified residents during clashes in North Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision

At 13:00 on May 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Raid

At 10:30 on May 8th 2018, Israeli forces escorting military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Al-Buriej camp and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 16:00.

Attack

At 15:00 on May 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 12:00 on May 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards demonstrators in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.

At 15:00 on May 8th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators located in Al-Nahda neighborhood in Rafah city.
