DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 21:45,Israeli forces raided the village of Al-Issawiya, where clashes took place with the citizens while they were on patrol.

Detention

1. At 22:10, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Hamza Al-Tamimi - a resident of Al-Salam suburb in Anata, while he was visiting the Israeli intelligence, based on prior notification.
2. At 02:00, the occupation forces positioned in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem detained 3 citizens: Muhammad Abu Jumaa, Abdullah Abu Jumaa, and Ahmed Marwan Abu Jumaa.

Attack

1. At 21:45, the occupation forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens, during their raid into Al-Issawiya village, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones while on patrol.
2. At 22:00, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas in the Al-Tour neighborhood of Jerusalem, on the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.

Injuries

At 04:10 on 11/07/2020, the occupying forces injured a citizen as they clashed with residents during their raid into Qalandia camp (as mentioned in the previous report).

Closure of main Roads

On 11/07/2020, the occupation forces closed the iron gate built on the tunnel road leading to the town of Bado, in front of traffic, and reopened it at a later time.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Atara town bridge, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 22:20.

Raid

1. At 09:55, Israeli forces raided the village of Ain Qinya, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Bir Zeit and Kober towns, where clashes took place with the citizens during a raid on a house in Kober town, and withdrew at 03:50.

Attack

At 02:00, the occupation forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens during their raid into the towns of Bir Zeit and Kober, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones while they stormed a house in the town of Kober.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:05, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ta'inak, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 16:35.

Raid

At 00:45, Israeli forces raided the town of Ya'bad, stormed a house, and withdrew at 01:10.

Detention

At 12:00, the occupation forces positioned near the separation wall near the village of Jalameh detained 3 citizens: Muhammad Yasser Zaki Shaban, Muhammad Zakaria Hamdan, and Fadi Yahya Abu Farha {all are residents of the village of Jalameh}.

Physical Assault

At 20:50, the citizen: Karam Iyad Samar - a resident of the town of Al-Yamoun, was admitted to the government hospital in Jenin, as a result of his injury - bruises, as a result of being severely beaten by the occupation forces while he was near the separation wall near the village of Rummana.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

1. At 17:00, the occupation forces closed the Shoufah checkpoint, in front of traffic, and reopened it at 23:10.
2. At 17:40, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at "Einav" checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the village junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 11:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the "Kedumim" settlement junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 12:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Nabi Elias village roundabout, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Closure of main Roads

At 15:40, the occupation forces closed the main street of Qalqilya - Nablus, near the settlement of "Karni Shomron", in front of the traffic, and reopened it at 15:50.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

1. At 16:35, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at Beit Furik checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
2. At 19:25, the occupation forces closed Beit Furik checkpoint, in front of traffic, and reopened it at 19:55.

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:25, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the roundabout of the "Yitzhar" settlement, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:20, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Salfit, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 18:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Istiya, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Confiscation of Property

At 15:30, the occupation forces confiscated a garbage truck belonging to the Joint Service Council of Deir Ballut near the town of Deir Ballut.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Jericho. The checkpoint was established again at 20:00 to search cars and check citizens' identities until 02:50.
2. At 20:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint on Al-Marajat road (connecting between Jericho and Ramallah governorates), to search cars and check citizens' identities until 21:00.
3. At 22:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to Jericho, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 23:20.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasanah area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate). The checkpoint was repeated at 19:05 to search cars and check citizens' identities until 20:00.
2. At 16:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to Husan village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 17:30.
3. At 18:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu ', to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 19:40.
4. At 21:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Nahalin, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 22:10.

Detention

At 16:40, the occupation forces positioned at the (Container) checkpoint detained the citizen: Munjid Muhammad al-Darawish - residents of Dura town in the Hebron governorate.

Assaults on Property

At 11:50, the occupation forces prevented a number of citizens from cultivating their land in the village of Kisan, near the village of Kisan, south of the town of Tekoa.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint on Line 60 - near the entrance to the settlement of "Kiryat Arba", east of Hebron, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 18:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Halhoul town bridge, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 20:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
4. At 23:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Arroub camp, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 11:15, Israeli forces raided the town of Dura, and patrolled until 12:30.

Detention

At 18:40, the occupation forces positioned at the "Mitar" checkpoint, located on the Green Line, south of the town of Dhahiriya detained Misbah Majed Waridat - residents of the town of Dhahiriya.

Settlers Attacks

At 10:00, a group of settlers, and the protection of the occupation forces, east of Yatta, chased a number of shepherds in the pastoral lands in the Al-Tha`la area.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The occupying forces violated the ceasefire by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the governorates of Central Gaza and Khan Yunis, and by gunboats firing at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea in the northern Gaza governorate, which resulted in the wounding of a fisherman.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": on 11/07/2020 is closed (due to the Saturday holiday).

Attack

1. At 17:45 on 11/07/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the coast of Al-Sudania area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
2. At 19:00 on 11/07/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the coast of Al-Sudania area west of Beit Lahia town, wounding a fisherman.

Injuries

The Fisher man Muhammad Yasin Zayed al-Sultan was wounded in the shooting by the Israeli military al-Zariq towards the fishermen's boats on the high seas off the coast of the Sudania area, west of the town of Beit Lahiya.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently, and by unilateral Israeli decision.
* The Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010 by an Israeli unilateral decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 07:15 today 11/08/2020, the occupying forces fired fire and tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence east of Al-Bureij camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 16:00 on 11/07/2020, the occupying forces fired fire and tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence, east of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom": on 11/07/2020 is closed..
* Al-Awda - Rafah crossing: on 11/07/2020 is closed.
