WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Assaults on Property

On the evening of November 16th 2018, Israeli forces raided the headquarters of the African neighborhood which located adjacent to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem and forcibly prohibited the organization of a cultural event for the "Volunteer Hope" association, which was supposed to be held under the title "Our children deserve a warm winter" Under the pretext of its organization by the Palestinian National Authority.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Attack

1. At 12:50, Israeli forces positioned in Jabal Risan area located in Ras Kar Kar village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {participating in demonstrations against Israeli confiscation of Palestinian land and settler violence} for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents.
2. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned in Bil'in village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {participating in demonstrations against the construction of the wall} for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Mohammad Raghib Jamil and Ali Ahmad Al-Shiekh during clashes in Jabal Risan area located in Ras Kar Kar village.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qabatiya town then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.

Raid

At 23:00, Israeli forces raided Bi'r Al-Basha village then stormed and searched a home.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Hablat town until 02:35.

Attack

At 12:35, Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents {of those identified}: Wael Abdallah Fathi Amer during clashes near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village.

NABLUS

Raid

At 13:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Dajjan village until 17:30.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 18:15, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Zawiya area located in Hebron city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza,Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah district and as a result injured 23 residents and left 17 suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 13:30 on November 16th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Jabaliya town.
2. At 14:00 on November 16th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured 8 residents and left 4 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 8 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

1. At 13:00 on November 16th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Gaza city.
2. At 14:00 on November 16th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result injured 6 residents and left 5 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 6 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 12:55 on November 16th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Al-Buriej camp.
2. At 14:00 on November 16th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 6 residents and left 5 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 6 unidentified resident after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 09:00 on November 16th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Al-Qarara town located in North east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 13:50 on November 16th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
3. At 14:00 on November 16th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 3 residents and left 3 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.

* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

At 14:00 on November 16th 2018,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march.
