WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood roundabout in Jerusalem city then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At dawn on November 18th 2018, Israeli forces detained 2 residents {including a child}: Amir Abu Sbeih {17 years old} and Tariq Khaled Odeh in Ein Al-Louzat area in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Attack

At 12:40 , Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of the Qalandiya military checkpoint fired stun and tear gas canisters towards Palestinian and international journalists participating in a march of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) to demand that the occupation authorities respect the press card issued by the Union and as a result several journalists suffocated from tear gas inhalation (including: Nasser Abu Bakr, chairman of the Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate), and Manal Khamis (member of the General Secretariat of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate).

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halmish" settlement jucntion then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Shuqba village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Abboud town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.
4. At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Ein Yabroud and Beitin villages then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.
5. At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sinjil town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:10.

Raid

At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city until 05:35.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

1. At 16:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. At 22:25, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Shufat" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

NABLUS

Raid

At 18:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Libban Al-Sharqiya village and clashed with several residents.

Attack

1. At 11:25, Israeli forces positioned at the east area of Orif village fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents participating in a Tree Planting event on land under threat of confiscation by the Israeli Military located in the eastern area of the village and as a result injured 7 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 18:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Libban Al-Sharqiya village.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 7 residents: Majdi Ismail Safadi, Muhannad Raed Mahmoud Asmar, Rami Zahi Rami Shehadeh, Khaled Mustafa Abdul Latif Sabah, Adel Mohammed Adel Safadi, Hammam Anwar Abdul Hafeez Shehadeh, and Abdullah Tayseer Shukr Al-Bahsh during clashes in the east area of Orif village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Marda village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 19:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles until 20:10.

Detention

At 15:30, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction Military checkpoint detained 2 residents: Anas Akef Ishtaya and Bara Habas Jabarat {both are residents of Salem village in Nablus district}.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

At 02:15, Israeli forces raided Beit Jalla and Bethlehem cities and Ayda camp, stormed and searched several homes, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 04:05.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Daoud Mahmoud Daoud al-Khatib {A resident of Ayda Camp}, Malik Imad Salama {A resident of Beit Jalla city} and Mahmoud Yousef Awaida Ibayat {A resident of Bethlehem city} during their raid into Beit Jalla and Bethlehem cities and Ayda camp.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Simiya village junction {located between Al-Samou' and Al-Thahriya towns} then searched residents and vehicles.

Settlers Attacks

1.On the evening of November 17th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers from "Evat Gal" settlement outpost stoned Rashed Al-Zarou and his family as they were collecting Olive harvests on their agricultural land located in Jabal Jalis area in east Hebron city.
2. At dawn on November 18th 2018, Israeli settlers positioned along Al-Shuhada road located in the old city of Hebron attacked a Ambulance as it was passing through the area while on duty transporting sick patients and as a result shattered its windshield.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding Central Gaza district.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza and Central Gaza districts and as a result injured a resident.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Central Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

1. At 09:30 on November 17th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 09:30 on November 17th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents attempting to climb the border fence from North Beit Lahiya town into Israel during which the residents were able to flee into the Gaza strip.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Raid

At 08:30 on November 17th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Deir Al-Balah city and leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 15:00.

Attack

1. At 09:00 on November 17th 2018, , Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Maghazi camp and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 14:00 on November 17th 2018, , Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Deir Al-Balah city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident after opening fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Maghazi camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Detention

At 17:30 on November 17th 2018, Israeli forces detained a unidentified resident as he was attempting to climb the border fence into Israel from east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
