DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Al-Jib, to search cars and check citizens' identities until 13:00.

Raid

1. At 14:00, the occupation forces raided Qalandia camp, where clashes took place with citizens as they stormed a number of houses, wounding 6 civilians, and smashing windows of 9 citizens.
2. At 16:45, the occupation forces raided Al-Issawiya village and conducted a patrol.
3. At 01:00, the occupation forces raided Bir Nabala town, and conducted a patrol until 03:00.

Detention

On the morning of 11/17/2020, the occupation forces detained 2 residents (brothers) Abd al-Mallah, and his brother Ibrahim.of Qalandia camp.

Temporary Detention

At 12:00, the occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem issued a decision to restrict the activities of the citizen: Yasser Darwish - residents of the city of Jerusalem, and prevent him from participating in any activity of the Palestinian National Authority, after summoning him for investigation earlier.

Attack

At 14:00, the occupation forces fired, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones during the raid on a number of houses, wounding 6 citizens, and smashing the windows of 9 civilian owned vehicles during their raid into Qalandia camp,

Injuries

The 6 wounded, during clashes with the occupation forces in Qalandia camp, are: Yusef Muhammad Taha Abu Latifa, Bashar Ahmed Alyan Hamad, Muhammad Fayez Yaqoub, Muhammad Sami Mutair, Mahmoud Khaled Hamad, and Jadallah Husam Ubaid.

Destruction of Property

At 14:00, the occupying forces smashed the windows of 9 civilians' vehicles, as a result of firing rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas during clashes with citizens while they raided a number of houses.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:22, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Ain Ayoub area near the village of Ras Karkar, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 16:05, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Bir Zeit town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 03:25, Israeli forces raided the town of Beit Rima, and patrolled until 04:20.
2.At dawn on 11/18/2020, Israeli forces raided the village of Saffa and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee in the village of Saffa is: Yasser Karaja.

Attack

At 19:10, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, near the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh, under the pretext that they were throwing stones.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 06:40, the occupation forces closed the entrance to Shuqba village, in front of traffic in both directions.
2. At 06:40, the occupation forces closed Wadi El-Delb road near Ras Karkar village, in front of traffic in both directions.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Haddad tourist village junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 20:00.

Detention

At 11:10, the occupying forces positioned at the Military Court in "Salem" settlement detained Bakr Hashash - a resident of Balata camp in Nablus.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 08:55, the occupying forces tightened their procedures at Tayasir checkpoint, and blocked traffic until 09:40.

House Demolition

1. At 09:55, the occupying forces demolished a room used for housing in the northern Jordan Valley in the Sahel Al-Baqi`a area owned by: Rami Sorour Ali Bani Odeh, under the pretext of not having a permit.
2. On 11/17/2020, the occupation forces demolished the Sakinah facility in the northern Jordan Valley, in the Al-Farisiyah area, owned by Radad Hamed Daraghmeh, under the pretext of not having a license.

Destruction of Property

1. At 09:55, the occupation forces demolished a storage den owned by the citizen: Talib Faraj Bani Odeh, under the pretext of not having a permit in the village of Khirbet Atouf in the northern Jordan Valley,
2. At 12:15, the occupying forces demolished a wooden timber, which was established by anti-settlement activists to strengthen the steadfastness of the citizens in the area. in the Um al-Jamal area in the northern Jordan Valley,
3. At 15:35, the occupying forces demolished a "caravan" owned by the citizen: Radad Hamed Rizk located in the Umm Asheish bridge in the northern Jordan Valley,

Assaults on Property

At 08:00 on 11/17/2020, the occupation forces forced 13 families from the Al-Burj and Al-Miyyah areas in the northern Jordan Valley (after notifying them earlier) from 08:00 until 18:00 on the same day, under the pretext of carrying out work Training in the two regions.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Tulkarm city and Tulkarm camp in the city, then detained 5 civilians.

Detention

The 5 detainees in Tulkarm and Tulkarm camp in the city are: Rami Samir Abu Samra, Yahya Jamal Sawy, Adnan Ahmad Khader Al-Hosari, Muthanna Fouad Abdel Rahim Rubu, and Abdullah Khader Abdel Fattah Rarsas.

QALQILIYA

At 16:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint under the Azzun bridge (on the main road to Qalqilya - Nablus), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 13:15, the occupation forces closed the Huwara checkpoint, in front of traffic, and reopened it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the eastern village of Laban, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 19:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Aqraba, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 04:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the "Shafi Shamron" settlement junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At dawn on 11/17/2020, Israeli forces raided the village of Zwata and arrested a citizen.
2. At 20:25, Israeli forces raided the village of Sebastia, where confrontations took place with the citizens, and sent notices for demolishing a house and a home garden owned by the citizen: Mahmoud Al-Sarawi, and withdrew at 20:55.

Detention

1. At 03:45 on 11/17/2020, the occupation forces detained Muhammad Omar Darwish Hashash, during their raid into Askar Camp in Nablus (in addition to those mentioned in the previous report).
2. The detainee in Zawata village is: Muhammad Thabet Abu Aisha.

Attack

At 20:25, the occupation forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens, during their raid into Sebastia village, on the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.

Destruction of Property

At 11:10, the occupation forces demolished a pool for collecting water for agricultural purposes in the village of Beit Dajan, owned by the citizen: Khulousi Haj Muhammad, under the pretext of not having a permit.

SALFIT

Raid

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces raided the town of Kafr El-Deek, and served a notice to halt construction on building a house owned by Samih Al-Natour, under the pretext of not being licensed.
2. At 22:00, Israeli forces raided the town of Kafeel Haris, and patrolled until 22:40.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the village of Marah Rabah, to search cars and check citizens' identities until 22:00.
2. At 20:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint under the Nahalin town bridge, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 22:00.
3. At 20:45,the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search cars and verify citizens' identities at 22:00.

Raid

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Marah Rabah village, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 21:55, Israeli forces raided the town of Tuqu ', raided a number of homes, and confiscated the recordings of its surveillance cameras. The raid was repeated at 03:40 and distributed leaflets warning citizens to continue throwing stones at settlers' vehicles, and withdrew at 05:30.
3. At 04:50,Israeli forces raided Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem city, detained 2 civilians (one of them a child, the other a police officer), and withdrew at 06:05.

Detention

1. At 13:25, the occupation forces detained 2 citizens Maher Samih Khalil Jibril and Maher Nabil Al-Tarwa.{residents of Taqoa town}, while they were visiting the Israeli intelligence, based on prior notification,
2. The two detainees in the Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem city are: the policeman - Mahmoud Abd al-Karim Muhammad Hammash, and Hamada Muhammad Ahmad Salem al-Sarahneh, 17 years old.

Closure of main Roads

At 10:45, the occupation forces closed the iron gate established at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu ', in front of traffic, and reopened it at 11:50.

Settlers Attacks

On 11/17/2020, a group of settlers in the Al-Khimar area, northeast of the village of Battir, erected a tent on a plot of land, in an attempt to seize it.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 06:05, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Bani Naim, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Attack

At 18:40, the occupation forces, in front of Al-Aroub camp, fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens at the entrance to the camp, under the pretext that they had been throwing stones.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:25, a group of settlers in the Old City of Hebron assaulted and severely beat Tayseer Abu Aisha, and his child, Haitham, 15, and as a result left them hospitalized with contusions.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The occupation forces violated the ceasefire by storming our areas and firing from their positions on the Green Line in the Gaza Governorate, and by firing boats at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea in the northern and central Gaza governorates.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 11/17/2020, is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

Attack

1. At 00:15 on 11/18/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the coast of Al-Sudania area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
2. At 07:00 on 11/18/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the coast of Al-Sudania area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently, and by unilateral Israeli decision.
* The Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010 by an Israeli unilateral decision.

Attack

At 06:30 on 11/18/2020, the occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 00:15 today 11/18/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the beaches of Nuseirat camp.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 11/17/2020 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods and building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 11/17/2020 is closed.
