DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 13:00 and again at 22:20,Israeli forces raided the village of Al-Issawiya as confrontations took place with the citizens while they were on the patrol.
2. At 14:45, ,Israeli forces raided the town of Kafr Aqab, detained a citizen then withdrew at 15:00.

Detention

1. On 11/18/2020, the occupation forces positioned at the Shuafat checkpoint in Jerusalem detained Montaser Khalil Al-Dabai.
2. At 23:30, the occupation forces positioned in the town of Beit Hanina detained Ashraf Al Salaymeh.
3. On the evening of 11/18/2020, the occupation forces positioned in Al-Thawri neighborhood in Jerusalem detained 2 citizens : Laith Asi and Ibrahim Siyam.
4. Detained in the town of Kafr Aqab is: Ali Na`im Za`arir.

Temporary Detention

At 09:00, the occupation forces summoned the Minister of Jerusalem Affairs - Fadi Al-Hudmi, to investigate the “Al-Maskobiyya” Detention and Interrogation Center, and released him later after threatening him to restrict his movement, to prevent him from communicating with the citizens of Jerusalem.

Deportation

1. At 13:30, the occupation authorities in Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Radwan Jamal Amr (Director of the Manuscripts Center in Al-Aqsa Mosque) for a period of 6 months from Al-Aqsa Mosque.
2. At 14:30, the occupation authorities in Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Muhammad Al-Salhi (one of the guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque), for a period of one week, renewable from Al-Aqsa Mosque.
3. On 11/18/2020, the occupation authorities in Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Areen al-Za'anin, for a period of 6 months from Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Attack

At 22:20, the occupation forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the entrance to the camp, during their raid into the village of Al-Issawiya, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones while on patrol.

Destruction of Property

On 11/18/2020, the occupation authorities in Jabal Al Mukaber neighborhood in Jerusalem forced the citizen: Ayman Jaabis to personally demolish part of his shop, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event the occupation authorities carry out the demolition, under the pretext No license.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 03:25, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Ain Ayoub area, near the village of Ras Karkar, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Beitunia town, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Ramallah and conducted a patrol.

Attack

On 11/18/2020, the occupying forces, present in the vicinity of "Pesgot" settlement located on the eastern outskirts of the city of Al-Bireh, fired stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones, which resulted in the injury of 4 civilians - suffocation cases due to inhaling tear gas.

JENIN

Detention

At 14:20, the occupying forces positioned at "Movo Dotan" checkpoint detained Mahmoud Muhammad Nazal - a resident of Qabatiya town.

Attack

On the morning of 11/18/2020, the occupying forces in charge of guarding the separation wall near the village of Rummana fired sound and tear gas canisters towards the citizens heading to work inside the Green Line, which resulted in the injury of a number of them - suffocation cases due to inhaling tear gas.

TUBAS

Temporary Detention

At 11:55, the occupation forces positioned at the Tayasir checkpoint detained Fadi Walid Jaber and Hadan - residents of Tayasir village, after they summoned him for investigation based on prior notification, and released him at a later time.

TULKAREM

Physical Assault

At 12:30, the occupation forces, present at Al-Taybeh commercial crossing, attacked the citizen: Fayez Oudeh Allah (working as a truck driver).

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance to the village of Jeet, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 10:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ezbet El-Tabib, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 15:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the roundabout of the "Kedumim" settlement, to search cars and check citizens' identities until 15:15.
4. At 15:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a roadblock on the road connecting the towns of Jayyus and Azzun, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
5. At 21:55, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 01:00.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 17:25, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at Huwara checkpoint, and obstructed traffic until 18:40.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Bazaria village junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the "Shafi Shimron" settlement junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 09:40, Israeli forces raided the village of Sebastia, escorting a group of settlers during their visit to the archaeological area in the village.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 14:30, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Zaatarah Junction checkpoint, and blocked traffic until 17:00.

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Kafeel Haris, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 22:30.

Detention

At 15:10, the occupation forces positioned at Za'tara military junction detained Ala Al-Din Omar Zakarneh - a resident of Qabatiya town.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:50, a group of settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens in the Khallet Hassan area, which is threatened with confiscation located in the town of Bidya, and attacked the citizen: Salim Muhammad Salim Salama, 65, while he was on his land, and as a result, the occupation forces intervened and detained the aforementioned citizen, and released him at a later time. .

JERICHO

At 09:30, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at Hamra checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

On 11/18/2020, the occupation forces positioned at Hamra checkpoint detained Yusef Jamal Sawafta -a resident of Tubas.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tuqu ', to search cars and check citizens' identities until 14:40.
2. At 15:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash area junction (the southern entrance to Bethlehem). The storming repeated at 18:00 to search cars and check citizens' identities until 20:30.
3. At 21:25, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tuqu ', to search cars and check citizens' identities until 23:00.

Detention

1. At 16:20, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Ahmed Al-Masaeed - residents of Aida camp in Bethlehem, while he was visiting the Israeli intelligence, based on prior notification.

At 15:30, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas, near the northern entrance to the town of Tekoa, on the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.

Closure of main Roads

At 08:50, the occupation forces closed the iron gate established at the northern entrance to Tuqu 'town, in front of traffic, and reopened it at a later time.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Bani Naim, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces raided the town of Halhoul, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 13:35, Israeli forces raided the town of Yatta, stormed and searched a house.

Closure of main Roads

On 11/18/2020, the occupation forces closed agricultural roads near the bypass road in the east of Yatta town, with dirt mounds and stones.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 12:15, a group of settlers, with the protection of the occupation forces in the Old City of Hebron, placed a large "candlestick" on the roof of the Ibrahimi Mosque building, to mark one of the Jewish holidays.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The occupying forces violated the ceasefire, by firing from their positions on the Green Line in Khan Yunis Governorate, and by firing at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea in the North Gaza Governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 11/18/2020, is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

Attack

At 14:00 on 11/18/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the coast of Al-Sudania area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently, and by unilateral Israeli decision.
* The Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010 by an Israeli unilateral decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 08:00 on 11/18/2020, the occupying forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Fokhari town, southeast of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 11/18/2020 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods and building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 11/18/2020 is closed.
