DAILY SITUATION REPORT

 08:00, 23rd November     2020 -08:00, 24th November  2020

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Attack

At 19:30, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas in the Al-Tur neighborhood of Jerusalem under the pretext that they had been throwing stones, and detained 2 citizens.

Detention

1. At 22:45 on 11/22/2020, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Ismail Nasser during their raid into Al-Issawiya village (in addition to those mentioned in the previous report).
2. The two detainees during clashes with the occupation forces in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem are: Amin Zahdeh and Omar Zahdeh.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Ramallah and Qadoura camp in the city, and clashes took place with citizens as they stormed and search of a number of houses, and detained 3 citizens.

Detention

The 3 detainees in the city of Ramallah and Qadoura camp in the city are: Majd Samir Al-Khawaja - residents of the city of Ramallah, Ahmed Wael Afaneh - residents of Ramallah, and Ashraf Salim al-Rum - residents of Qadoura camp.

Attack

At 04:30, the occupation forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens, during their raid into the city of Ramallah and Qadouraa camp, at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones, while they stormed and searched a number of houses.

Settlement Activities

At 08:30, the occupying forces positioned in Ras Abu Zaitoun, northeast of Ras Karkar village, razed a plot of land planted with olive trees owned by the citizen: Jamil Hajj Nofal - residents of Ras Karkar village, in order to lay a line for sewage water coming from the established settlements Near the village of Ras Karkar.

Settlers Attacks

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:55, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Ya'bad, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 09:45.

Detention

At 07:40, the occupying forces positioned at the "Movodotan" checkpoint on the main road of Jenin - Tulkarm detained 2 residents Tariq Ziyad al-Jamal and Muhammad Amer Jaradat - residents of the town of Silat Al-Harithiya, .

TUBAS

Raid

At 02:00, Israeli forces raided the town of Tamoun, and detained 3 civilians (brothers).

Detention

The 3 detainees in the town of Tamoun are: Ayman Hosni Shehadeh Bani Odeh, and his two brothers Ma'moun and Amin.

Assaults on Property

At 08:00 on 11/24/2020, the occupation forces forced 13 families from the Al-Burj and Al-Miyyah neighborhoods in the northern Jordan Valley (after notifying them earlier) from 08:00 until 18:00 on the same day, under the pretext of carrying out work Training in the two regions.

3. At dawn on 11/24/2020,Israeli forces raided the town of Beit Furik, and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. The two detainees in Awarta village are: Majdi Jalal Nassar and Maan Faisal Awad.
2. The detainee in the town of Beit Furik is: Nasim Musa Al-Jada.

Physical Assault

At 07:45, the occupation forces, severely beat 3 brother Izz al-Din Jalal Qawariq, Muhammad's two brothers, and Hamdi s, which led to bruises, and they were subsequently admitted to the government hospital in Nablus for treatment during their raid into Awarta,

Settlers Attacks

On 11/23/2020, a group of settlers were present near the entrance to the settlement of "Yitzhar", and threw stones at the citizens' vehicles passing on the bypass road near the colony, causing material damage to a number of vehicles.

JERICHO

Detention

At 07:40, the occupation forces positioned at Hamra checkpoint detained Ali Muhannad Marzouq -a resident of Jenin.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Tuqu 'town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 13:00.
2. At 08:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Beit Jala, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 14:20.
3. At 11:20, the occupying forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasanah area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search cars and check citizens' identities until 15:00.
4. At 20:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint between Nahalin town and Husan village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided the town of Dhahiriya, stormed a lathe work shop, and confiscated its contents then stormed and searched a number of homes.
2. At 03:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Arroub camp and detained a child.
3. At dawn on 11/24/2020, Israeli forces raided the village of Karma and detained a university student.

Detention

1. At 14:45, the occupation forces positioned at the entrance to the town of Beit Awa detained Ayoub Muhammad Mahmoud Masalmeh (with special needs).
2. The person detained in Al-Arroub camp is: Anas Ahmed Shaheen Abu Shousha, 16 years old.
3. The person detained in the village of Karma is: Hussain Issa Hussain Abu Sheikha (university student).

Confiscation of Property

At 02:20, the occupying forces confiscated the contents of a lathe owned by the citizen: Ibrahim Ghazi Abu Allan, during their raid into the town of Dhahiriya.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The occupation forces violated the ceasefire, by firing from their positions on the Green Line in Khan Yunis Governorate, and by firing at the fishermen's boats in the northern Gaza governorate..

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 11/23/2020 is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

Attack

At 08:15 on 11/23/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats, while they were chasing them at sea, off the Al-Sudania beach, west of the town of Beit Lahia.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently, and by unilateral Israeli decision.
* The Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010 by an Israeli unilateral decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 06:30 on 11/24/2020, the occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Qarara town, northeast of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 11/23/2020 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods and building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda - Rafah crossing : on 11/23/2020 is closed.
