WEST BANK

Closure

Since 24:00 on September 28th, 2019, Israeli occupation forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of the Jewish New Year and prevented citizens and workers, including holders of permits, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian and medical emergencies after the prior coordination until 24:00 on October 1st 2019.

JERUSALEM

Raid

On the evening of September 30th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained a child.

Detention

1. On September 30th 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Omar Shwiki and Ameer Shiwiky in Al-Thuri neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. On September 30th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Al-Jadirat village detained the child Ma'moun Munthir Barjis {14 years old}{a resident of Al-Jadirat village}.
3. Israeli forces detained the child: Mohammad Ahmad Atiya {15 years old} in Al-Eisawiya village.

Deportation

1. On September 30th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders banning Hanadi Al-Hilwani and Khadija Kahawis {both are residents of Jerusalem city} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 6 moths .
2. On September 30th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued an order banning Arin Al-Za'anin {a resident of Jerusalem city}from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 4 months as a condition for her release after being detained at an earlier time.
3. On the evening of September 30th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued an order banning Hamza Masaudat {a resident of Jerusalem city}from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 15 days as a condition for his release after being temporarily detained at an earlier time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00,a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Yabroud village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 20:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Rihan city, Surda and Ein Qinya villages.
2. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet town.
3. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Kobar town and clashed with several residents.

Attack

At 03:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Kobar town.

JENIN

At 13:55, Israeli forces raided Beit Qad village.

At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Al-Bayda village located in the North Jordan valley then searched residents and vehicles.

TULKAREM

At 23:55, Israeli forces raided Bal'a town, Rammin and Kafr Ruman villages until 04:25.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Far'ata village.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 17:25, Israeli forces raided Salem village.
2. At 17:35, Israeli forces raided Qaryout village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed "Silon Springs"under the pretext of enabling the settlers to celebrate and perform the Talmudic rituals during which they clashed with several residents and left several of them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

1. At 09:35 on September 30th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 07:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:05,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 17:10, Israeli forces raided Nihalin town.
2. At 02:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Ubidiya town.
3. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Harmalat village.
4. At dawn on October 1st 2019, Israeli forces raided Um Salmouna village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Samou' town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched a home.
2. At dawn on October 1st 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, stormed and searched the home of Mohammad Ahmad Adi then confiscated his vehicle.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on October 1st 2019, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Mohammad Ahmad Adi after storming his home during their raid into Beit Ummar town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

Since 22:00 on September 29th 2019,The Israeli forces closed Al-Ibrahimi Mosque compound {the Tomb of the Patriarchs} in the Old City of Hebron and prevented residents from praying inside it, under the pretext of enabling the settlers to celebrate and perform the Talmudic rituals inside the compound on the occasion of the Jewish New Year until September 30th, 2019.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles .

•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza and Khan Yunis district.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 16:30 on September 30th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of travelers.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed for the Jewish New Year.
