WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

Since 24:00 on October 7th 2019,Israeli forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of Yom Kippur, and prevented citizens and workers, including holders of permits, from entering Jerusalem and Israel until 24:00 on October 9th 2019.

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and demolished a memorial statue.

Attack

At 23:30, Israeli forces positioned at Shu'fat military checkpoint in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents near the entrance of Shu'fat camp for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem, performed Talmudic rituals at the chapel of the School of the Tankazi (Court) located at the entrance of Al-Aqsa mosque and provoked worshipers.
2. On October 9th 2019, Israeli Police forces stormed Bab Al-Rahma gate in Al-Aqsa mosque compound and took photograph's inside the mosque.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Halamish" settlement roundabout then searched residents and vehicles until 10:30.

2. At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:25.

Raid

At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Abboud town until 04:30.

JENIN

Raid

At 03:25, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and its camp, detained a National Security force officer in the city then withdrew at 04:35.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Sultan Kamil Al-Sa'di {a National Security force officer} in Jenin city.

Attack

At 07:30 on October 10th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Thahir Al-Abd village opened fire towards a residents and as a result left him hospitalized.

Injuries

Israeli forces wounded Mahmoud Bahjat Anis Jaradat {a resident of Al-Sila Al-Harthiya town} after opening fired towards him near the wall gate in Thahir Al-Abd village.

QALQILIYA

1. At 22:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

At 23:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Jayyous town.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 10:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furik military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 12:45.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Shavei Shomron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 09:30.
2. At 19:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Nablus city and Assira Al-Shamaliya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and Askar camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed several homes in the camp, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:30.
2. At 00:40, Israeli forces raided Rujieb village.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Jihad Amr Bannat in Askar camp.

Attack

At 24:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Askar camp in Nablus city.

At 22:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles until 02:40.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 22:20.

Raid

At 06:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Oja village, stormed and searched a home, detained a resident then confiscated his vehicle.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Abdallah Khalid Al-Ajouri in Al-Oja village.

Confiscation of Property

At 06:55, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Abdallah Khalid Al-Ajouri after storming his home during their raid into Al-Oja village.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:40.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 21:50.

Raid

1. At 12:15, Israeli forces raided Wadi Fuqin village, stormed 2 homes, inspected surveillance camera footage the home of Omar Abdel-Qadder then withdrew at 13:30.
2. At dawn on October 10th 2019, Israeli forces raided Marah Rabah village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Einoun village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 00:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Hawawir area {located at the North entrance of Halhul town} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on October 10th 2019, Israeli forces raided Dura town and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on October 10th 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Ishaq Abu Hash'hash in Dura town.
2. Israeli forces detained Bara Ismail Al-Masalmat and Eyad Raed Al-Masalmat in Beit Awwa town.

Closure of main Roads

At 01:15,Israeli forces closed the steel gate located at the entrance of Al-Hawawir area {at the North entrance of Halhul town} and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 07:00 on October 10th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Al-Tufah neighborhood located in east Gaza city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of travelers.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
