WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

*Since 24:00 on October 3rd 2017, the Israeli Military sealed off the West Bank for the Jewish Holiday "Sikkot" thus preventing residents and workers including those with entry permits from entering Jerusalem city and Israel with the exception of Foreign Diplomats, Humanitarian and emergency medical cases {with prior security clearance} until 24:00 on October 10th 2017.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Eizariya town roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:15, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and clashed with several residents.
2. At 19:20, Israeli forces raided Biddu town, clashed with several residents and fired tear gas canisters inside the home of Mustafa Abdel-Fattah Hamidan after storming and searching his home then detained a child.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mu'tasim Mustafa Hamidan {16 years old} in Biddu town.

Attack

1. At 10:15, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Abu Dis town.
2. At 19:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Biddu town.

Closure of main Roads

At 11:30, Israeli forces closed several main roads leading to Jerusalem city in order to allow Israeli settlers to celebrate the Jewish Holiday "Sikkot".

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Turmus'aya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 22:15, Israeli forces raided Khirbet Abu Falah village, detained a resident then withdrew at 23:50.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Gibril Issa Al-Omari in Khirbeit Abu Falah village.

Provocation of Palestinian Forces

At 09:15, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards a Palestinian Police Force vehicles in Deir Nathim town and as a result damaged the vehicle.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafrit village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Qabatiya town and Masilat village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Zubaba village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces raided Bi'er Al-Basha village then stormed 2 homes.
2. At 10:40, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town until 10:55.
3. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 22:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Settlers Attacks

At 09:05, Israeli settlers stormed Khilat Hamad area located in the North Jordan valley, chased away several farmers and shepherds from the area the withdrew at 12:30.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 12:30.

Raid

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Khirbeit Al-Hamam area located in east Al-Nazlah Al-Sharqiya village until 19:40.
2. At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Shwikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city and detained a resident.
3. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Bal'a town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Anas Ibrahim Abdel-Fattah Nafiya in Shwikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city.
2. Israeli forces detained Wael Mazen Abu Ghaliya in Bal'a town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hajja village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles until 03:00.

Raid

At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Hajja village.

Detention

At 01:00 on October 10th 2017, Israeli forces detained Assad Ahmad Abu Salah during their raid into Qalqilya city.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Deir Sharaf village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 11:30.
2. At 21:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Yitzhar" settlement junction and impeded the free flow of traffic until 21:40.

Raid

At 23:50, Israeli forces raided Nablus city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb during which they clashed with several residents and as a result injured a resident.

Attack

At 23:50, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb during their raid into Nablus city and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Ashraf Mohammad Mut'ab Fa'our {A resident of Askar camp} was injured during clashes with Israeli forces during their raid into Nablus city.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 11:55, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in south Birin village and uprooted 5 Olive trees owned by Hassan Bani Khalid Al-Shalatit {A resident of Burin village}.
2. At 20:40, a group of Israeli settlers positioned in the vicinity of Huwwara military checkpoint stoned residents and vehicles passing through the checkpoint then withdrew at 21:35.

SALFIT

Raid

At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town.

Settlers Attacks

At 20:40, a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Za'tara junction checkpoint stoned residents and vehicles passing through the checkpoint then withdrew at 21:35.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:45 and again at 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 22:30.

Detention

At 13:50, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Murad Yasser Yusef Shamroukh {A resident of Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city} as he was returning from Jordan.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 14:30.

Raid

1. At 11:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town until 14:30.
2. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Ubeidiya town, stormed and searched 2 homes then withdrew at 03:10.
3. At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town then stormed and searched a home.

Attack

At 13:25, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Nashash area located in Al-Khader town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children for alleged stoning.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:10, Israeli forces set up 6 checkpoint at the entrance of Farsh Al-Hawa area located in North Hebron city {along bypass road 35}, at Al-Nabi Yunis area junction {located along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem city}, at Beit Einoun- Sa'ir village junction,at the entrance of Al-Fah's area located in south Hebron city, in Ba'ir Al-Mahjar area in Hebron city and at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles until 15:50.
2. At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Fuwar and Khursa village junctions then searched residents and vehicles until 23:30.

Raid

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces raided Hebron city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed "Atnael's tomb".
2. At 12:25,Israeli forces raided Al-Karmil village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites in the area during which they clashed with several residents and as a result left them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town then stormed and searched a home.
4. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir town, stormed and searched several homes, summoned 2 residents {including a National Security forces officer} to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Provocation of Palestinian Forces

At 02:30, Israeli forces summoned 2 residents {including a National Security forces officer}Mohammad Awadallah Kawazba {a National Security forces officer} and Mahmoud Awadallah Kawazba to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning during their raid into Sa'ir town.

Attack

1. At 12:25, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites during their raid into Al-Karmil village and as a result left them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 13:40, Israeli forces positioned near Tarik bin Ziyad school located near Al-Ibrahimi mosque in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 14:50, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Thaher area located in Beit Ummar town and near "Karmi Tsur" settlement fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child {with a leg injury} and several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
4. At 22:05, Israeli forces positioned near Tarik bin Ziyad school located near Military checkpoint 160 in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
5. At 22:50, Israeli forces positioned at a Military watch tower near Khursa village junction opened fire in the area after unidentified residents allegedly threw a molotov in the area.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified child during clashes in Al-Thaher area located in Beit Ummar town and near "Karmi Tsur" settlement.

Closure of main Roads

At 10:55, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Al-Fah's area located in south Hebron city and impeded the free flow of traffic from both directions.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. Since 22:00 on October 8th 2017, Israeli forces closed Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron and prevented resident from performing prayers in order to allow Israeli settlers to perform Talmudic rituals inside the mosque until 20:20 on October 10th 2017.
2. On the evening of October 10th 2017, Israeli forces informed the residents of Al-Tuwani village {which is located in south east Yatta town} it will prevent their local mosque from making the call for prayer through the loud speakers because it allegedly disturbs Israeli settlers in"Magon" settlement.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.
•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding and opening fire towards North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open from 13:00 until 19:00 for Gaza residents only.

Raid

At 09:00 on October 10th 2017, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 80 m into the vicinity of east Jabaliya town and opened fire as they levelled a plot of land then withdrew at 14:00.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
