WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Deportation

On the evening of October 10th 2018, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders banning 3 residents: Hamza Al-Nabali, Khalil Al-Tarhouni and Ahmad Abu Aliya from Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 15 days.

Attack

At 16:30, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Al-Ram town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Um Safa village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:45, Israeli forces raided Surda village.
2. At 11:45, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ni'ma village and clashed with several residents.

Attack

At 11:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Kafr Ni'ma village.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Ya'bad town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 22:30, Israeli forces detained Salah Al-Din Yusef Zakarna {A resident of Kabatiya town} as they were e heading to extract a magnetic card from "Salem" Military base.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located near the entrance of Ya'bad town detained Thaer Ahmad Al-Tib Jaradat {A resident of Jenin camp}.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 08:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Tayyassir" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Bardala village junction located in the North Jordan valley area the n searched residents and vehicles.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

On October 10th 2018 and again at 18:30, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Lid town, stormed and searched several homes and merchant shops, detained 2 residents, confiscated 1200 JD from the home of Saleem Mahmoud Omar.
2. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Shweikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained a University student then withdrew at 06:45.

Detention

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces positioned at Jabarat Military checkpoint detained the child: Sayef Ammar Al-Baddu {17 years old}{A resident of Shwikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city}.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Thafer Fihmi Al-Sous and Eyad Muti' Zibadi in Beit Lid town.
3. Israeli forces detained Sundoud Waleed Abu Shiekha during their raid into Shweikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city.

Attack

At 01:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Shweikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city.

Confiscation of Property

At 13:00, Israeli forces confiscated 1200 JD from the home of Saleem Mahmoud Omar during their raid into Shweikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Raid

At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, detained a woman then withdrew at 07:10.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Fayrouz Waleed Abu Shiekha in Nablus city.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 09:10, Israeli settlers stormed Orif village,threw stones towards a school and as a result broke several windows during which Israeli forces stormed the school and removed the students from their class rooms as they clashed with several residents and as a result injured 2 residents and withdrew at 12:30.
2. At 18:40, a Israeli settler positioned near Al-Libban Al-Sharqiya village junction attempted to abduct the child: Mohammad Raed Aweis {12 years old} after he got out of his vehicle, chased him and grasped him before several shepherds in the area were able to release the child from the settler.

Assault on Educational sector

At 09:10, Israeli forces removed the students from their class rooms as they clashed with several residents and as a result injured 2 residents after Israeli settlers stoned a school as they stormed Orif village.

Attack

At 09:10, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as removed the students from their class rooms after Israeli settlers stoned a local school during their raid in Orif village and as a result injured 2 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Jarrah Fayiz Mohammad Shiuhadeh and Mustafa Khalid Shihadeh in Orif village.

SALFIT

Temporary Detention

At 16:40, Israeli forces positioned near Qarwat Bani Hassan town junction temporarily detained 2 Palestinian Customs Police Officers: Omar Soliman Jum'a Arjan and Farid Raed Farid Odah then released them at 23:00.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Malee Ivarim" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles until 12:00.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 19:30.
3. On the evening of October 10th 2018, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Waljat village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 13:15, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town then stormed and searched a home.

Temporary Detention

On the evening of October 10th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town and stormed a football stadium, stopped several members of Al-Khadr town soccer team as they were exiting the stadium after practice and questioned them and informed the head of the stadium to inform everyone not to leave the stadium exit of all players and managers from teams: Joura Shamaa, Um Tuba, - About 100 players and administrators, and threatened to shoot at anyone who violates this decision, knowing that the teams were engaged in sports training at the stadium, and withdrew later.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 07:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Fuwara camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Temporary Detention

At 13:30, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 school children: Ameer Basil Idris {12 years old} and Ameen Yacoub Idris {12 years old} as they were leaving Hebron boys school in the old city of Hebron then released them at a later time.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding North Gaza district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

At 08:30 on October 10th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50m into the vicinity of east Jabaliya town and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 14:00.

Attack

1. At 09:00 on October 10th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 17:00 on October 10th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing located in North Beit Hanun during the march of return.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
