WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

*Since 24:00 on October 3rd 2017, the Israeli Military sealed off the West Bank for the Jewish Holiday {Day of Celebrating the Torah} thus preventing residents and workers including those with entry permits from entering Jerusalem city and Israel with the exception of Foreign Diplomats, Humanitarian and emergency medical cases {with prior security clearance} until 24:00 on October 14th 2017.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town {located near "Maale Adumim" settlement} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Anan town then searched residents and vehicles.

Closure of main Roads

At 09:16, Israeli forces closed the main road in Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood and impeded the free flow of traffic in order to allow Israeli settlers to celebrate the jewish holiday.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

Settlers Attacks

At 00:15, a group of Israeli settlers attacked several home and merchant shops in the old city of Jerusalem and in Wadi Al-Juz neighborhood.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {located along Al-Mu'rajat road connecting Ramallah and Jericho} and detained a resident.
2. At 18:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Mughayer village, temporarily detained 2 residents then released them at a later time.

Raid

At 03:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:55.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint Al-Taybeh town junction {located along Al-Mu'rajat road connecting Ramallah and Jericho} detained Ibrahim Fahnij {A resident of Deir Abu Mash'al village}.
2. Israeli forces detained Hamad Nathmi Sa'adat Safi in Al-Jalazoun camp.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Imrayha village, temporarily detained 2 Palestinian Police officers then released them at a later time.

Temporary Detention

1.On the morning of October 11th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Jalma Military checkpoint located in east Jenin city temporarily detained Fadi Mahmoud Assous {A resident of Bi'r Al-Basha village} then released him at a later time.
2. At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Imrayha village temporarily detained 2 Palestinian Police officers then released them at a later time.

TUBAS

Raid

1. At 22:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Widyan area located in east Tamoun town.
2. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Ras Al-Ahmar area in the North Jordan valley.

Settlers Attacks

At 10:05, two Israeli settlers driving a motorcycle stormed Salhab area in North Aqaba town then withdrew at a later time.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:00 and again at 20:45, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 21:25.

Raid

At 13:35, Israeli forces raided Zieta town, clashed with several residents, temporarily detained a child then withdrew at 13:50.

Temporary Detention

At 13:35, Israeli forces temporarily detained the child Nafez Ehab Masarwa {12 years old} during their raid into Zieta town then released him at 18:50.

Attack

At 13:35, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canister s towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Zieta town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:10 and again at 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles then detained a resident.
2. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint located at the east entrance of Qalqilya city detained Mahmoud Nae'l Shareem.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Iraq Burin village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. On the morning of October 11th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Aqrabaniya village, assaulted Mohammad Ali Ahmad Issa and as s result left him hospitalized with contusions.
2. At 16:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Muraba'a area located near Tel village.

Physical Assault

On the morning of October 11th 2017, Israeli forces assaulted Mohammad Ali Ahmad Issa during their raid into Al-Aqrabaniya village and as s result left him hospitalized with contusions.

Settlers Attacks

At 12:30, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Kafr Qalil village and near "Huwara" Military checkpoint and chased out several farmers collecting Olive harvest then withdrew at 14:15.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 12:30.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 14:00.
2. At 14:45 and again at 22:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles until 00:35.
3. At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Sha'b Al-Batm area located in south east Yatta town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 15:30, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrances of Al-Thahriya town and Al-Simiya village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 16:25, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at Zif village junction and in Wadi Al-Sam area located in Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 21:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Samou' town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Temporary Detention

At 13:50, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located near Al-Ibrahimi Mosque compound in the old city of Hebron temporarily detained Munjid Mohammad Hassan Al-Qamiri then released him at a 15:00.

Assaults on Property

At 11:30, Israeli forces prevented residents from collecting Olive harvest in B'ir Salem area located near Tarqumiya town and forcibly removed them from the area.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire and launching 3 tank artillery shells from their positions behind the Green Line towards Central Gaza.
• Palestinian Gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Israeli Military forces positioned near the border fence from Central Gaza.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination and partially open from 13:00 until 19:00 for Gaza residents only.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 13:30 on October 11th 2017, Israeli forces launched 3 tank artillery shells from their positions behind the green Line towards agricultural land in east Al-Maghazi camp.
2. At 13:45 on October 11th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Maghazi camp.

Palestinian Attacks

At 13:10 on October 11th 2017, Palestinian gunmen positioned near the border fence in east Al-Buriej camp opened fire towards a Israeli Military Jeep.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
