DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 15:00 and again at dawn on 12.10.2020, the occupation forces raided the village of Al-Issawiya, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 20:45, Israeli forces raided the village of Rafat and detained a child.
3. At dawn on 12. 10. 2020, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Hizma and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. At 19:00, the occupation forces detained Sufyan Al-Rajabi in the Old City of Jerusalem.
2. The detainee in the village of Rafat is: Fadi Ali Abu Hassan, 14 years old.
3. The detainee in Hizma town is: Muhammad Fawzi Al-Khatib.

Attack

At 18:45, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the Shuafat camp in Jerusalem, on the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At 11:55,Israeli force raided Al-Amari camp in the city of Al-Bireh, where clashes took place with citizens as they stormed and search of a number of houses, wounding 23 civilians (including 10 with live ammunition, and 13 civilians with rubber-coated metal bullets). 30 civilians suffocated due to tear gas inhalation, and arrested a citizen, also detained 2 citizens (one of them a citizen), and released them at a later time, and withdrew at 14:00.
2. On 11. 10. 2020, Israeli force raided the village of Shuqba, and confiscated a bulldozer and two containers.

Detention

The Detainee in Al-Amari camp in the city of Al-Bireh is: Muhammad Abu Rajab.

Temporary Detention

At 11:55, the occupation forces temporarily detained 2 citizens {including a woman: Sana Abu Arab and Rajab Abu Arab} during their raid into Al-Amari camp in Al-Bireh city and released them at 24:00.

Attack

At 11:55 , Israeli forces fired live and metal bullets, coated with rubber, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, under the pretext that they were being thrown with stones while they were raiding and searching a number of houses, wounding 23 civilians (including 10 bullet wounds Al-Hayy, 13 civilians, with rubber-coated metal bullets), and 30 civilians suffocated from tear gas inhalation during their raid into of Al-Amari camp in the city of Al-Bireh,

Injuries

The 23 wounded (including 10 with live bullets, and 13 with rubber-coated metal bullets) during clashes with the occupation forces in Al-Amari camp in Al-Bireh (their names were not known).

Confiscation of Property

On 11. 10. 2020, the occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer and two containers belonging to the citizen Ratib Ahmad Qaddah in Shuqba village

JENIN

Raid

At dawn on 12. 10. 2020, Israeli forces raided the town of Ya'bad, and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee in the town of Ya'bad is: Thabet Thameen Hussain Ba'ajawi.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 23:55, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at Tayasir checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

TULKAREM

Attack

At 10:40, the occupation forces fired live and metal bullets, coated with rubber, sound and tear gas canisters, near Gate No. 104 built on the separation wall near the city of Tulkarm, on the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:00, the occupying forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya, arrested a citizen, and withdrew at 16:40.
2. At 16:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Azzun town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 06:00, Israeli forces raided the village of Kafr Qaddum, and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. The detainee at a flying checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya is: Kamal Fawzi al-Habbash - resident of Qalqilya.
2. The detainee in Kafr Qaddum is: Hammouda Raed Barham.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 12:50, Israeli forces raided the village of Beit Dajan, where clashes took place with the citizens while they were on patrol.
2. At 18:05, Israeli forces raided the village of Iraq Burin, and clashes took place with the citizens while they were on patrol.
3. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided the town of Qusra, arrested a citizen, and withdrew at 02:00.
4. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided the village of Tal, where clashes took place with citizens as they stormed and searched a number of homes, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 02:15.
5. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Qaryut village and arrested a citizen.

Detention

1. The detainee in the town of Qusra is: Burhan Nashat Fawzi Hassan.
2. The detainee in Tal village is: Mahmoud Omar Asida.
3.The detainee detained in Qaryut is: Qasid Abdel Nasser Musa.

1. At 12:50, the occupying forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones while on patrol during their raid into Beit Dajan village,
2. At 18:05, the occupation forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens, during their raid into Burin village, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones while on patrol.
3. At 01:25, the Israeli occupation forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens, during the storming of Tal village, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones as they stormed and searched a number of houses.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Kafr al-Dik, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 21:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Kafeel Haris, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:25, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasanah area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 13:00.
2. At 09:05, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash area junction (the southern entrance to Bethlehem), to search cars and check citizens' identities until 11:00.
3. At 17:50, the occupying forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tuqu '. The checkpoint was established repeatedly at 21:05 to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Land Confiscation

On 11/10/ 2020, the occupation authorities announced the amendment of the borders of lands in the village of Arab al-Ta'amrah (including natural basin (2), Fattoura site, Qanani Suqir, Ruman, Al-Aradiyat, Al-Ghazlan, and a natural basin (4), Mashat Al-Anziat, Waer Kharitoun, and Tawaki Ain Al-Natuf, Sha'ab Al-Ain, and Khallat Saleh - from the lands of Arab Al-Tamrah), with the aim of seizing them in favor of expanding the borders of the colony of "Tekoa".

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Bani Naim town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 20:05, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Halhoul town bridge, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Hebron and detained a citizen.
2. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided the town of Beit Ummar, and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. The detainee in Hebron is: Saber Bassam Al-Najjar.
2. The detainee in the town of Beit Ummar is: Malik Ayesh Abu Maria.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - “Erez”: 11/10/2020 is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* The Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed on 01/04/2010 by an Israeli unilateral decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: 11/10/2020 partially open (for the entry of Humanitarian supplies, goods and building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
