WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

*Since 24:00 on October 3rd 2017, the Israeli Military sealed off the West Bank for the Jewish Holiday {Day of Celebrating the Torah} thus preventing residents and workers including those with entry permits from entering Jerusalem city and Israel with the exception of Foreign Diplomats, Humanitarian and emergency medical cases {with prior security clearance} until 24:00 on October 14th 2017.

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

On the evening of October 12th 2017, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Iska Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Sheikh Jarrah Neighborhood in Jerusalem city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. On October 12th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 22:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and clashed with several residents.

Detention

On October 12th 2017, Israeli forces detained Abdel-Raheem Issa after storming his home in Jerusalem city.

Attack

At 22:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 11:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {located along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho districts} then searched residents and vehicles until 16:00.
2. At 20:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Atara town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.
3. At 00:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Silwad town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 17:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city, clashed with several residents and detained a resident.
2. At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 03:45 on October 12th 2017, Israeli forces detained Subhi Sha'ban Sharaka during their raid into Al-Jalazoun camp.
2. Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Jamal Judah {17 years old} {A resident of Beitunia town} in Al-Bireh city.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ali Shihadeh Hamad in Silwad town.

Attack

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.
2. At 14:10, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Hashimiya school located in east Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 17:05, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Ma'moun Mahmoud Al-Ramahi {17 years old} during clashes near the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11;20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Arraba town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:45, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the east and west entrances of Ya'bad town then searched residents and vehicles.

TUBAS

Settlers Attacks

At 12:00, a group of Israeli settlers driving a vehicle stormed Al-Buqi'ya and Einoun area's located in east Tubas city then withdrew at a later time.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Attil town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Hablat town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.
2. At 22:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Raid

At 22:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Oja village, inspected a restaurant's surveillance camera footage then withdrew at 23:35.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:15 and again at 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 21:40.
2. At 14:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur city} then searched residents and vehicles until 15:30.
3. At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.
4. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, stormed and searched 2 homes, temporarily detained Shadi Nayef Al-Amour and released him at a later time then withdrew at 01:05.

Attack

At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned at Ayada camp located in North Bethlehem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Temporary Detention

At 00:20, Israeli forces temporarily detained Shadi Nayef Al-Amour during their raid into Teqou' town the released him at a later time.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Kahil town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 19:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Einoun village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:10, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
2. At 14:10, Israeli forces raided Ithna town then stormed and searched a merchant shop.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by openeing faire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza District.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed for Jewish holidays.

Attack

At 07:30 on October 12th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
