WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 17:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town and detained a resident.
2. On the evening of October 15th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and clashed with several residents.
3. At dawn on October 16th 2017, Israeli forces raided Hizma town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 20:00, Israeli forces detained Abed Barakat in Beit Hanina town.
2. Israeli forces detained Hamada Issa in Al-Eizariya town.
3. Israeli forces detained Ishaq Ahmad Al-Khatib in Hizma town.

Attack

On the evening of October 15th 2017, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

Settlement Activities

On October 15th 2017, Israeli authorities announced the implementation for the construction of 2600 settlement units in "Givat Hamatos" settlement located in south Jerusalem city on land occupied in 1967.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Silwad town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 17:25.
3. At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles until 17:25.
4. At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Rawabi city roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 18:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
6. At 22;35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halamish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 23:30.

Raid

1. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Bir Zeit town and detained 3 residents.
2. At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mahmoud Salah Sabah, Mohammad Wasfi Sabah and Salah Mahmoud Abdel-Rahim Yusef in Birzeit town.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 23:05, Israeli forces raided Rumana village, clashed with several residents and as a result left several residents suffocating fr5om tear gas inhalation.
2. At 04:20, Israeli forces raided Jenin camp, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 06:15.
3. At dawn on October 16th 2017, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town and detained 5 residents.

Detention

1. On October 15th 2017, Israeli forces positioned near "Salem" military base located in North West Jenin city detained the child Abdel-Rahman Tallal Raja Abu Al-Hija {17 years old}{A resident of Jenin camp}.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Suhayeb Adnan Jum'a Al-Ghoul, Qassim Mohammad Basam Jabarin and Qassim Mohammad Bassam Jabarin in Jenin camp.
3.Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Nour Al-Din Atatra, Salah Mahmoud Hamarsha, Mahmoud Abdallah Abu Baker, Fursan Khalid Amarnah and Akrama Khalid Amarnah in Ya'bad town.

Attack

At 23:05, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Rumana village and as a result left them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

TUBAS

Land Confiscation

On October 1st 2017, Israeli forces issued Military Order {T/28/17} for the confiscation of 36.272 dunums of land near Bardala village located in the North Jordan valley area for alleged military purposes.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ras Rumana area junction located near the entrance of Baqa Al-Sharqiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city the searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

At 18:30, Israeli forces positioned in the east area of Azzun town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Raid

At 12:25, Israeli forces raided Rujib village, clashed with several residents and as a result injured a child then withdrew at 13:45.

Attack

At 12:25, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Rujaib village and as a result injured a child.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured the child Bara Ayman Sabri Dwikat {12 years old} in Rujib village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Iskaka village bridge, temporarily detained 2 Palestinian Intelligence agency officers then released them at a later time.

Temporary Detention

At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned at flying checkpoint near Iskaka village bridge temporarily detained 2 Palestinian Intelligence agency officers: Wael Nabeel Abdallah Abdel-Raziq and Ahamd Na'im Mohammad Obied then released them at a later time.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

At 07:35 on October 15th 2017, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Hamra military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:05.
2. At 17:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the north entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 00:45.

HEBRON

Settlers Attacks

At 10:00, a Israeli settler positioned along Al-Shuhada road in the old city of Hebron assaulted 2 children: Yara Ibrahim Ramadan {13 years old} and Ameera brahim Ramadan {10 years old} leaving them hospitalized with contusions.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.
• Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Central Gaza.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 11:45 on October 15th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Maghazi camp.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
