WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

Since 24:00 on October 12th 2019,Israeli forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank districts on the occasion of the Jewish holiday "Sukkot'' , and prevented citizens and workers, including holders of permits, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian and medical emergencies after prior coordination until 24:00 on October 21st 2019.

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At dawn on October 16th 2019, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on October 16th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 7 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Yusef Erikat in Abu Dis town.
2. Israeli forces detained 7 residents: Mahmoud Mustafa, Qassam Dabras, Yunis Abu Al-Hummus, Abdel-Qadder Abu Samiya, Ahmad Abu Shamala, Mohammad Aliyan and Yazan Aliyan.

House Demolition

On October 15th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem forced Mohammad Al-Atrash to demolish a section of a building he owns, which consists of 4 floors and is located in Wadi Al-Hummus neighborhood in Sur Baher village { claiming he must apply for a license from the Palestinian authority because of its location in Area (A)} and demolished a pent house and the floor beneath it because of its location near the main road in the village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 11:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Deir Ibzi' village then searched residents and vehicles until 11:30.

Raid

1. At 09:50, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and detained 2 residents.
2. At 07:30 on October 16th 2019, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village and detained a resident.
3. At dawn on October 16th 2019, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Uday Amr Abdel-Ghani Hamad and Mujahid Ayad Hamad in Silwad town.
2. Israeli forces detained Qusay Zahran in Deir Abu Mash'al village.

Settlers Attacks

At dawn on October 16th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Deir Ammar village, slashed the tires of 4 vehicles and spray painted racist and anti arab slogans on the walls of several homes and vehicles.

JENIN

Raid

At dawn on October 16th 2019, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Bal'a town, stormed and searched a home then confiscated 10000 NIS then withdrew at 06:15.

Confiscation of Property

At 00:10, Israeli forces confiscated 10000 NIS from the home of Abdel-Qadder Salama as they raided Bal'a town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city, detained a resident then withdrew at 20:00.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Habla town tunnel {located at the south entrance of Qalqiliya city} then searched residents and vehicles until 23:15.

Raid

At 02:15, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 05:00.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city detained Mohammad Al-Hatour.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Wasfi Abdel-Kareem Hamouda,Hassan Ibrahim Milhim and Islam Billal Dowery in Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:45 on October 15th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba' area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 08:35 on October 15th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Nablus city and 'Asira ash Shamaliya town then searched residents and vehicle.
3. At 01:10 on October 16th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitzhar" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. On the morning of October 15th 2019, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological site in the village.
2. At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and Balata camp, detained a child then withdrew at 05:15.
3. At dawn on October 16th 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Furik town.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Amr Hashash {17 years old} in Balata camp located in Nablus city.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Marda village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballut town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 09:30.
2. At 18:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-Mu'arajat road {which connects Jericho and Ramallah districts} then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:15 and again at 21:15,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 22:10.
2. At 21:50,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 22:10.

Settlers Attacks

At 12:15, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance of Al-Fureidis village stoned several vehicles travelling in the area and as a result damaged a vehicles owned by Hazim Jamal Al-Tamimi {a resident of Hebron city}.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. On the evening of October 15th 2019 and again at dawn on October 16th 2019, Israeli forces raided Hebron city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Rama archaeological site then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 00:15, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town and detained a resident.
3. At 05:15, Israeli forces raided Dura town and detained 3 residents.
4. At dawn on October 16th 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1.Israeli forces detained Ayoub Amr Rashid Tarayat in Bani Na'im town.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ala Ahmad Al-Awawda, Issam Hussien Masharqa and Hamza Nader Azmi Abu Halil in Dura town.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Muntassir Abdel-Hamid Muhisein and Wurud Ibrahim Yusef Awad in Beit Ummar town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2014, The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.

• Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding Gaza district.
•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 17:00 on October 15th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in North Beit Hanun town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Raid

At 08:30 on October 15th 2019,Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Gaza city and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 11:15.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

On the morning of October 15th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.

Attack

At 15:30 on October 15th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in East Rafah city.
