ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

Since 24:00 on September 28th, 2019, Israeli occupation forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of the Jewish New Year and prevented citizens and workers, including holders of permits, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian and medical emergencies after the prior coordination until 24:00 on October 1st 2019.

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Jamil Abu Hillal in Abu Dis town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00,a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Attack

At 14:00 and 20:35, Israeli forces positioned near the North entrance of Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they were protesting in solidarity with Palestinian Detainees in Israeli Prisons and as a result injured a child and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured the child: Mahmoud Qassim Ali {17 years old}{a resident of Qalandiya camp} during clashes near the North entrance of Al-Bireh city.

JENIN

At 21:15, Israeli forces raided Arraba town.

TULKAREM

Detention

At 17:20, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate located in Zieta town detained Muhanad Hisham Suwirki {a resident of Attil town}.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 19:50,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Azzun town bridge {located along then main road connecting Qalqiliya and Tulkarem districts} then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 20:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jit village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

At 16:05, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

1. At 19:40,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:35,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Awarta village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 23:35, Israeli forces raided Madma village.
2. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Naqurat village.

1. At 11:35,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:20,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 13:40,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 13:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Walaja village then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at near the entrance of Nihalin village then searched residents and vehicles.

HEBRON

At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Einoun village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 22:55,Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
2. At 23:50, Israeli forces raided Halhul town.
3. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im, Ithna and Yatta towns and Deir Sammit village.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles .

•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Central Gaza district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

At 14:45 on October 1st 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 13:00 on October 1st 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Palestinian gunmen sites in east Al-Buriej camp.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of travelers.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed for the Jewish New Year.
