WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

Since 24:00 on October 12th 2019,Israeli forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank districts on the occasion of the Jewish holiday "Sukkot'' , and prevented citizens and workers, including holders of permits, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian and medical emergencies after prior coordination until 24:00 on October 21st 2019

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 20:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town, clashed with several residents then detained a resident.
2. At 20:55, Israeli forces raided Anata town.

Detention

1. At 18:20, Israeli forces detained Sabrin Abu Thiyab in Jerusalem city.
2. Israeli forces detained Wissam Fadi Al-Basti in Al-Ram town.

Attack

At 20:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Ram town.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

At 17:30, Israeli forces raided Surda village and clashed with several residents.

At 15:30, Israeli forces raided Kafr Aboush village.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:30 and again at 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Jayyous town and Al-Nabi Eliyas village, detained a resident then searched resiednts and vehicles.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Jayyous and Azzun towns then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

1. On the evening of October 19th 2019, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate in Qalqiliya city detained the child: Fahed Salah Ishtawi {13 years old}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint in the area between Jayyous town and Al-Nabi Eliyas village detained Akrama Banan Abdel-Kareem Abu Aliya {a resident of Qalqiliya city}.

NABLUS

Settlers Attacks

At 14:35, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in east Burin village and assaulted several residents who were harvesting Olives and as a result injured 3 residents then stole several sacks of Olives.

Injuries

Israeli settlers attacked and injured 3 unidentified residents who were harvesting Olives on agricultural land in east Burin village.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 10:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za'tara junction military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At dawn on October 20th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction military checkpoint detained Hamed Nabil Aweis {a resident of Al-Libban Al-Sharqiya village in Nablus district}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the North entrance of Salfit detained Ibrahim Samih Al-Assi {a resident of Qarwat Bani Hassan town}.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 08:40.
2. At 10:40,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 11:50.

Raid

At 17:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Oja village.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:55,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:10.
2. At 21:25,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Furiedis village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 22:40.
3. At 21:35,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Billal Bin Rabah mosque located in North Bethlehem city then searched residents and vehicles. until 22:45.

Raid

At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town then stormed and searched 4 homes.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:25, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land located in Al-Jub'a village then stoned several residents who were collecting Olives.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 20:45, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched several homes.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Zif village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 22:30.

Attack

At 21:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Zif village.

Settlers Attacks

At 12:10, a group of Israeli settlers attacked several homes located near the entrance of Bani Na'im town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2014, The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.

•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza district and as a result injured a resident.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

1. At 08:00 on October 19th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 08:30 on October 19th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Jabaliya town and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified resident during clashes in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
