WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Jadeirat village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 23:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town and clashed with several residents.
2. At dawn on October 21st 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 3 residents.

Detention

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces detained Adnan Arafat Ghyth {The Governor of Jerusalem district} after removing from his vehicle in Beit Hanina town.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ameer Al-Shaloudi, Anas Darwish and Yusef Mustafa in Al-Eisawiya village.

Deportation

On October 20th 2018,Israeli authorities issued a order for banning Loia Al-Rajabi {A resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} from entering the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 3 days and fined him 1500 NIS as a condition for his release from Israeli Police custody.

Attack

At 23:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Ram town.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road leading to Al-Jalazoun camp and located near "Bet El" settlement then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Silwad town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city and summoned Bara' Al-Qadi to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
2. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Surda village and surveyed a plot of land owned by the family of Muhanad Al-Halabi.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 22:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1. At 18:40, Israeli forces raided Beit Lid town until 21:00.
2. At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Deir Al-Ghousoun town and detained a resident.
3. At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, Shwakiya neighborhood and Al-Jaroushiya village, stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 05:15.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Adnan Al-Tabal in Deir Al-Ghouson town.

QALQILIYA

Raid

1. At 19:10, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, clashed with several residents, temporarily detained a resident and released him at a alter time then withdrew at 21:30.
2. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Kafr Thulth town , detained a resident then withdrew at 03:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Nasser Thiyab Odeh in Kafr Thulth town.

Temporary Detention

At 19:10, Israeli forces temporarily detained Nidal Safwan Saleem during their raid into Azzun town then released him at a later time.

Attack

1. At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum {which is closed by the Israeli military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators who are protesting against the closure of the village entrance force alleged stoning.
2. At 19:10, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Azzun town.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 23:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Beit Furiq" military checkpoint {after unknown individuals allegedly threw 2 home made UXO's towards a Israeli Military vehicle} and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1. At 23:40, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qalil village until 01:35.
2. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Orif and Einbuis villages until 02:50.
3. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Madma village.

Detention

At 16:50 on October 19th 2018, Israeli forces detained the child Ahmad Yusef Asmar {17 years old} during their raid into Ruhib village {as mentioned in the previous report}.

Settlers Attacks

1.At 12:05, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the south area of Burin village, attacked several residents who were collecting Olives then stoned the home of Bashir Hamza Al-Zaban and as a result shattered its windows then proceeded to damage a steel fence surrounding the home.
2. On October 20th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers from "Givat Gilad" settlement located along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Nablus stoned vehicle travelling along the road and as a result damaged the vehicle of Ahmad Al-Sadat {A resident of Jit village in Qalqiliya district}.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road in Al-Oja village then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jala city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 20:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah city until 02:20.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Haji" settlement junction located in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fah's area located in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 12:05 and again at 22:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Fuwar area junction, searched residents and vehicles and detained a resident

Raid

At 23:35, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im, Ithna, Dura, Beit Awa and Yatta towns.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at Al-Fuwar area junction detained Mohammad Yusef Abu Hashhash.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts .

The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green line towards Central Gaza district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.
• Israeli Military aircraft's broke the ceasefire agreement by launching a missile towards a Motorcycle in Rafah District and as a result injured 2 residents.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

At 07:00 on October 20th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards several Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town , temporarily detained 2 fishermen then released them at a later time and confiscated their fishing boat.

Temporary Detention

Israeli Naval forces temporarily detained 2 fishermen: Kareem Wahdi Hussien Abu Hassan and Mohammad Wahdi Hussien Abu Hassan {both are residents of Beit Lahiya town} off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town then released them at a later time.

Confiscation of Property

Israeli Naval forces confiscated a fishing boat off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town after temporarily detaining 2 fishermen.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 19:00 on October 20th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp during the march of return.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Air Strike

At 15:30 on October 20th 2018, Israeli Military aircraft's launched a missile towards a motor cycle located near the border fence in east Rafah city and as a result destroyed the motorcycle.

Destruction of Property

At 15:30 on October 20th 2018, Israeli missile strikes destroyed a motorcycle located near the border fence in east Rafah city.

Injuries

Israeli airstrikes towards a motorcycle located near the border fence in east Rafah city injured 2 unidentified residents.
