WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

Since 24:00 on October 12th 2019,Israeli forces imposed a total closure on the West Bank districts on the occasion of the Jewish holiday "Sukkot'' , and prevented citizens and workers, including holders of permits, from entering Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian and medical emergencies after prior coordination until 24:00 on October 21st 2019.

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 2 residents {including a child}.

Detention

1. On October 20th 2019, Israeli forces detained Abdel-Rahman Al-Hashlamoun after storming his home in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents {including a child}: Mohammad Geith {12 years old} and Shadi Mohammad Fayez Muh'sien in Al-Eisawiya village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 04:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Ramallah, Bir Ziet and Surda village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 04:05, Israeli forces raided Surda village until 06:10.

TULKAREM

Attack

At 08:10, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate located in Zieta town opened fire towards several residents as they attempted to enter Israel through the wall gate looking for employment and as a result injured a resident then detained 2 others.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Abdallah Hamad Yassin Bani Odeh {a resident of Tammoun town in Tubas district} after opening fire towards several residents near the wall gate located in Zieta town.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Abdallah Hamad Yassin Bani Odeh Mohammad Hamad Yassin Bani Odeh and Mohammad Taher Eid Bani Odeh {all are residents of Tammoun town in Tubas district} during clashes near the wall gate located in Zieta town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jit village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sanniriya village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:10,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Eliyas village then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 24:00, Israeli forces positioned near "Ayal" crossing point located in North Qalqiliya city detained the child: Mu'tasim Mohammad Zied {14 years old} for alleged stoning.

Attack

1. At 13:45, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Al-Naqqar neighborhood located in Qalqiliya city fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child leaving him hospitalized.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned near the North entrance of Azzun town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured the child: Abdel-Rahman Majed Al-Haj Hassan {16 years old} during clashes near the wall gate in Al-Naqqar neighborhood located in Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Deir Sharaf village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Assaults on Property

1. At 14:25, Israeli forces prevented several residents from entering agricultural land located in Al-Izb area near Beit Furik town in order to harvest olives.
2. On October 20th 2019, Israeli forces prevented residents from entering agricultural land in Qaryut village to collect Olives claiming they do not have a permit to enter the area.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Qarwat Bani Hassan town .

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

At 07:20 on October 21st 2019,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Hamra Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:50 and again at 21:50,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 22:30.
2. At 22:45,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along road 90 in Al-Oja village then searched residents and vehicles until 00:15.

Raid

At 08:00 on October 20th 2019, Israeli forces raided Jericho city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed The Monastery of the Temptation then withdrew at 09:00.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 12:00.
2. At 00:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 01:55.

Raid

1. At dawn on October 21st 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Doha town then stormed and searched a home.
2. At dawn on October 21st 2019, Israeli forces raided 'Ayda Camp in Bethlehem city and clashed with several residents.

Attack

At dawn on October 21st 2019, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into 'Ayda Camp in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Idhna then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 00:40, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched several homes then detained a resident.
2. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Dura town, stormed and searched several homes, summoned 2 residents: Nur Ayish Al-Talahma and Anas Ibrahim Shadid to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Sayef Jamal Abu Ziena in Hebron city.

Attack

At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents located at the entrance of the camp for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

At 15:20, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Beit Ummar town {located near the main road connecting Hebron and Jerusalem} and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

Settlers Attacks

At 16:55, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Khilet Ein Ghanim area located in Surif town and assaulted several residents who were collecting olives.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2014, The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.

• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 09:30 on October 20th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed for Jewish Holidays.

Attack

At 20:00 on October 20th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
