WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city and clashed with several residents.
2. At dawn on October 23rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Qatana village then stormed and searched several homes.

Detention

At dawn on October 23rd 2018, Israeli forces detained the child: Jihad Jawad Abu Ramouz {15 years old} in Siwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Temporary Detention

On October 22nd 2018, Israeli Authorities in Jerusalem city issued a order placing Adnan Arafat Ghayth {A resident of Jerusalem city}{Palestinian Authority Governor of Jerusalem district} under house arrest for a period of 7 days and fined him 20000 NIS as a condition for his release after he was detained {as previously mentioned in the report of October 21st 2018}.

Attack

At 10:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At 09:10, Israeli forces raided Budrous village and detained a resident.
2. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Mughier village and detained a resident.
3. At 07:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village and detained 3 residents {including a child}.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Nizar Lutfi Khalaf in Budrous village.
2. Israeli forces detained Loia Ali Al-Na'san in Al-Mughier village.
3. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Fawzi Maher Musa Zahran, Faraj Abdel-Qadder Faraj Al-Barghouthi and Mustafa Riyad Taha {17 years old} in Deir Abu Mash'al village.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Arraba town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Temporary Detention

At 22:05, Israeli forces positioned at Arraba town junction temporarily detained Ahmad Ziyad Nazal {A resident of Qabatiya town} then released him at a later time.

TUBAS

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Al-Bayda village located in the North Jordan valley then searched residents and vehicles.

Settlers Attacks

On October 22nd 2018, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Khirbeit Samrat area located in the North Jordan valley chased away several residents who were herding goats in the area during which Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents then released them at a later time.

Temporary Detention

On October 22nd 2018, Israeli forces temporarily detained Ayman Awad Daraghma and Thiyab Awad Daraghma in Khirbeit Samrat area located in the North Jordan valley as they were herding goats in the area then released them at a later time.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Immatin village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 12:10 and again at 02:35, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town and detained 2 residents {including a child}.
2. At 22:40, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 01:30.
3. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, stormed and searched a home then detained a child.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahmad Salah Al-Qadumi {16 years old} and Iz Al-Din Salah Al-Qadumi in Jayyous town.
2. Israeli forces detained Sajed Waleed Jibril {14 years old} in Qalqiliya city.

Attack

At 22:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Azzun town.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 13:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 13:20.

Raid

1. At dawn on October 23rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured a child after he was run over by a Israeli Military vehicle.
2. At dawn on October 23rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village.

Detention

At 13:10, Israeli forces positioned at Huwara town detained Nabil Ahmad Yusef Hamayil {a resident of Beita town}.

Attack

At dawn on October 23rd 2018, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Nablus city and as a result injured a child after he was run over by a Israeli military vehicle.

Injuries

Israeli military vehicle ran over and injured the child Sajid Jibril {14 years old} during clashes in Nablus city.

Settlers Attacks

At 00:15, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in the west area of Aqraba town and chopped off the limbs of several Olive trees.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the north entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles until 15:30.

JERICHO

Detention

At 22:55, Israeli forces detained Muntasir Yahya Abu Azzoum {a resident of Jericho city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning based on a prior summon.

Destruction of Property

On October 22nd 2018, Israeli forces leveled land in Fasayil village and as a result destroyed and uprooted 30 Olive and citric fruit trees and other plants owned by Hussien Rashaydat.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jallah city then searched residents and vehicles until 20:40.
2. At 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Doha town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.

Raid

1. On the evening of October 22nd 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town.
2. At 06:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Duhisha camp in Bethlehem city and Al-Doha town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched a home in Al-Doha town then detained a resident in Al-Duhisha camp.
3. At dawn on October 23rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town then stormed and searched 2 homes.

Detention

1. On the evening of October 22nd 2018, Israeli forces detained Islam Jamal Sabah {A resident of Bethlehem city} as she was visiting her husband in a Israeli prison.
2. Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Salah Mahmoud Hamash {17 years old} in Bethlehem city.

At dawn on October 23rd 2018, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Doha town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Hawawier area {located at the North entrance of Halhul town} then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town and clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes.
2. At 04:40, Israeli forces raided Halhul town and clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes.
3. At dawn on October 23rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Khalid Sabarna in Beit Ummar town.

Attack

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron opened fire towards a resident {for allegedly attempting to stab a Israeli soldier} and as a result killed him.
2. At 01:35, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Thahriya town.
3. At 04:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Halhul town.

Killings

Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron opened fire towards and killed Mohammad Ma'amer Arif Rifa'i Al-Atrash {42 year old} {for allegedly attempting to stab a Israeli soldier}.

Destruction of Property

On October 22nd 2018, Israeli forces stormed Jamourat area located near Tarqumiya crossing point and uprooted 320 Olive tree planted on 14 dunums of land and demolished a water network owned by Fatafta and Al-Ja'four families {from Tarqumiya town} and Al-Asfour family {from Beit Kahil town}.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts .

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green line towards North Gaza and Central Gaza district and as a result injured 4 residents and left 16 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 16:50 on October 22nd 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards approximately 30 Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town as they were protesting then returned to Gaza main Port at 19:00.
2. At 16:50 on October 22nd 2018, , Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in North West Beit Lahiya town during the march of return and as a result injured 4 residents and left 16 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 17:00 on October 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Palestinian Gunmen sites in North West Beit Lahiya.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 4 unidentified residents during clashes in North West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 22:30 on October 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp during the march of return .

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
